Man dies in collision with parked cars

KOTA TINGGI: A man died when the Proton Saga he was driving crashed into two other vehicles, which were parked on Jalan Teratai, Felda Bukit Aping Barat, last night.
The 46-year-old victim, Sazali Mohd Razak, was confirmed dead at the scene due to severe body injuries.
Kota Tinggi District Police Chief Superintendent Yusof Othman said information regarding the accident was received from the public at 10.25pm.
He said preliminary investigations found that the accident was believed to have occurred when the victim lost control of his car and collided with two vehicles, a Proton Wira and a Toyota Hiace, which were parked in front of a house.
"As a result of the collision, the 46-year-old Proton Saga driver sustained severe internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene," he said in a statement yesterday.
Yusof added that the victim's body was sent to the Kota Tinggi Hospital Forensic Unit.
"The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

Police are investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
