Craig, from Wolverhampton, lost control of the moped he was riding near the village of Agios Mattheos on July 26 and crashed.
The much-loved café owner – described by his daughter as the 'happiest' he had been since losing his wife Jane, 53, to cancer two years ago – was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead by doctors.
His eldest daughter Rebecca, 32, said: 'Our dad's loss has left a massive hole in our lives. We lost our mum two years ago to cancer.
'Since then, he has been a bit down in the dumps. On holiday, it was the happiest I'd ever seen him, he had a new girlfriend.
'He was lovely and a proper family man.'
Craig, who ran The Cafe in Low Hill alongside daughters Rebecca and Danni Perks, 27, was remembered as a big character in the community.
Rebecca said: 'The amount of tributes we've had off people for dad, saying how lovely he was and what a character he was.
'He was like marmite, you either loved him or hated him – and most people loved him.'
The devastated family had to cut their trip short following the tragedy, returning home on July 29.
Craig's body was flown back to the UK on Wednesday, allowing preparations for his funeral to begin.
A GoFundMe page to help the grieving relatives to cover costs has already raised more than £3,000.

EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy looks slimmer than ever as she strips off to a bikini on luxury family holiday

NATALIE Cassidy stripped to a palm tree print bikini as she kicked back and relaxed on an idyllic family holiday. She read her book as she soaked up the sunshine on what she hailed as "10 days of pure family time." In her gallery, posted to Instagram, Natalie also showcased her toned look as she posed in a brown sun dress with her fiance Marc Humphreys. Other snaps captured them playing card game UNO as they enjoyed drinks in the evening as well as sea swims and tasty Greek food. Natalie and Marc were seen enjoying a hug as they stood in the pool before they were joined by their daughter. In her cheery caption, she wrote: "Crete. 10 days of pure family time. "UNO, clear seas, gorgeous people and beautiful food. I love you all so much and feel so blessed." The screen star then emphasised: "NOT AN AD AT ALL NO DISCOUNTS NO NOTHING but thank you to @oliverstravels as the villa and everything about this break were fabulous. Would recommend them for a trip." TOWIE 's Jess Wright was quick to write: "Love it Nat." Dianne Parish then wrote: "You're all flipping gorgeous," as Patsy Palmer added a series of red love hearts. EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy claims huge pop star used to BULLY her at school and reveals awkward confrontation One fan then gushed: "Bloody gorgeous pics well deserved break for you all." Another posted: "You look beautiful Natalie, you just can't beat family time in the sun, esp with lots of games of UNO xxx" One then added: "Beautiful family. Your daughter is a mini version of you Natalie." Just last month, she looked unrecognisable from her soap character as she glammed up for an event. EastEnders stars who QUIT MICHELLE Collins has seen her second EastEnders stint boost her bank balance. Yet what stars have quit this year? The Sun exclusively reported how Michelle, 62, was down to £20,000 in her company accounts when she agreed to a shock back-from-the-dead return to Albert Square last year. Her character, Cindy Beale, was presumed dead off-camera in 1998. Yet what about the 2024 exits? Earlier this summer, loyal soap fans appeared to note how Stevie Mitchell had "quit" the long-running series. It came after Alan Ford enjoyed just six-months on-screen. Bobby Beale actor Clay Milner Russell also left this year after five years in Walford. Fans also feared Martin Fowler actor James Bye would "quit out of boredom" over recent storylines. Additionally, a host of stars have quit the BBC soap for Hollywood fame. One of the most successful stars to come from the BBC One soap is Rob Kazinsky. He played Stacey Slater's brother Sean Slater from 2006 to 2009, he has starred in Hollywood blockbusters Pacific Rim and Captain Marvel. Ben Hardy, who quit EastEnders as Bobby Beale almost a decade ago, went on to break Hollywood the following year, when he starred as Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse. Since then, he has played Roger Taylor in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and he starred in Michael Bay 's Netflix movie 6 Underground. Michelle Ryan played Zoe Slater until 2005. She starred as the lead in short-lived American series Bionic Woman from 2007 to 2008. Natalie was a familiar fan favourite on the BBC One soap until her exit in April after a 32-year stint. She has spoken openly about her weight loss battles and admitted she was offered a bumper pay cheque to release two weight loss DVDs in 2007. Yet after pocketing £100,000 to lose four stone - she put it straight back on. Just last year, Natalie was forced to deny she used diet pills to lose weight. OPENING UP She recently spoke about her marriage to former fiance Adam Cottrell and his relationship with his daughter. Natalie got engaged to the transport manager from Bristol in 2010, but split a year later. During their relationship, Adam was charged with assaulting her and received 120 hours of community service. Natalie later reconciled with him for a brief time as she tried to make it work for the sake of their child Eliza, who they welcomed back in 2010. Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast Life With Nat, the actress was joined by her aunt Linny, where she admitted her relationship with her ex "wasn't a happy one". Discussing her parenting, mum-of-two Natalie said: "We don't raise them the same, of course we don't..." She told her aunt: 'It's a cementing of your marriage, or your life... it's everything… but I didn't have that experience. "I was in a relationship, it wasn't a happy one. "Eliza was my absolute life, but the experience that came with it wasn't a nice one." In 2014, Natalie started a relationship with Marc. They got engaged in 2015 and welcomed their first child Joanie Elizabeth into the world in 2016. 6 6 6

Moment unsuspecting painter is sent flying through air in terrifying crash after car comes out of nowhere

THIS is the terrifying moment a painter is sent flying through the air in a horrifying crash after a car comes out of nowhere. The unidentified man is thought to have been working on a property in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, on August 13. 5 5 At the start of the footage he is seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black shorts and half way up a ladder working away. His white van is parked close by and his equipment is spread out on the pavement below him. A white car passes by as he climbs down and moves out of sight of the camera. The video then cuts to him standing in the middle of the road examining his work. The painter then moves off the road and towards his van as a grey car drives along the road. While he is standing next to his van a car, initially out of shot can be heard hurtling along the road. The sound of the motor's brakes screeching then rings out on the footage. A greyish-white car can then be seen slamming into the back of the van. The parked van is pushed into the painter with immense force sending the poor man flying. The car, having collided with the van, veers across the road and spins around before coming to a halt. Moment 'worst driver ever seen' sends TWO cars flying in horror 100mph crash during police chase The painter is thrown into the air and looks to smash into the wall of a nearby building. He tumbles end over end across the pavement before finding his feet. Fortunately, the painter although seemingly a little dazed by the accident, appears to be uninjured. He is seen walking along the middle of the road and appears to mutter to himself: 'F**k me' as he heads back towards his van. 5 5 He puts a hand to his head as he approaches his van to inspect the damage done to it. Looking at the back of his now smashed up van the painter wanders out of shot as he recovers from the shock of the impact. The silver car is left wrecked in the middle of the road with parts of it strewn across the tarmac. It is unclear if the driver of the car suffered any injuries in the collision. The Sun has contacted Durham Police for comment and further information.

Romeo Beckham shares photos of himself with sister Harper on their yacht in St Tropez- amid family feud with estranged brother Brooklyn

Romeo Beckham shared some photos of himself with his sister Harper on Saturday from their family holiday St Tropez. The footballer, 22, gave an insight into their summer jaunt on board their parents' £16 million yacht which took place while Brooklyn was renewing his vows thousands of miles away in the US - with no family in attendance. Romeo, 22, joined his parents David, 50, and Victoria, 51, on the trip as well as siblings Harper, 14, and Cruz, 20. Posing for a photo with his sister, he went shirtless as he posed on his parents boat while Harper sat next to him. Other photos showed Romeo as he got in the driving seat and enjoyed a wakeboarding session. Elsewhere, his brother Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 31, said 'I do' for a second time on August 2 in Westchester County in front of her family, with the Beckham clan nowhere in sight amid their ongoing 'feud'. He did however, spend the week before in the same location with his wife Nicola and his in-laws, but left before the Beckhams arrived. Brooklyn and Nicola, who first wed in 2022, failed to invite any members of Brooklyn's family, with reports David and Victoria heartbreakingly found out about their big day after reading about it on a US website. It's a stark contrast to Nicola's family, who had key roles at the second wedding, with her father Nelson, 83, officiating, wearing her mother Claudia's, 70, vintage wedding gown and letting her parents take centre stage once again at the after party. Brooklyn's family has been in turmoil in recent months as it has been claimed he has become increasingly estranged from his parents after failing to attend any of his father David's 50th birthday celebrations in May. The lack of Beckham presence at Brooklyn's vow renewal is the latest sign Brooklyn and Nicola have washed their hands with his family - with many indications seemingly marking Brooklyn's intentions to quit Brand Beckham for good. The Beckhams were said to be upset by the Peltzes during Brooklyn and Nicola's first wedding in 2022, as they felt they were taking over the wedding. The two families have not reunited since and Nicola has rarely been pictured with the Beckhams. A clear sign Brooklyn and Nicola have washed their hands with his family is that fact that none of the Beckham's were invited to the low-key ceremony. His brother Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz said 'I do' for a second time on August 2 in Westchester County in front of her family, with the Beckham clan nowhere in sight A source told The Sun: 'This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria. Seeing Nelson having such a pivotal role at the ceremony was heartbreaking for David especially. Not one member of the 30-plus extended family knew about the wedding, or were invited.' The source added: 'His grandparents are devastated too as Brooklyn has always been so close to them.' 'It feels cruel and spiteful. This is no longer a game. It has gone beyond all that. This is a family who feel they have lost their precious boy - and see no way back. 'Honestly, they are now questioning why he even wants to keep the 'Beckham' surname - will he revert to Peltz? August 2nd 2025 - is this the day Brooklyn formally declared himself no longer a part of the Beckham family? It certainly feels like it.' Even at their butterfly-themed afterparty, it appears not one of Brooklyn's childhood friends and family was in attendance - making for a glaring signal that Brooklyn has quit both his family and former life altogether. Daily Mail contacted Brooklyn, Nicola and the Beckhams' representatives for comment at the time. Brooklyn's family's feelings towards their vow renewal could suggest why none of his relatives were on the invite list. However, Victoria, David and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, were said to have only found out about Brooklyn's big day after reading about it on a US website.
