Myleene Klass takes sly swipe at ex & makes cryptic comment about ‘friend's loyalty' after he ‘cheated with a celeb'
MYLEENE Klass took a sly swipe at her ex Graham Quinn - and made a cryptic comment about 'friends' loyalty'. The presenter, 47, joined Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan and Katie Piper on today's Loose Women panel. 4 Myleene Klass took a sly swipe at her ex Graham Quinn Credit: ITV 4 The presenter recently opened up about her former husband's alleged "cheating" Credit: YouTube 4 Myleene and Graham were married from 2011 to 2013 Credit: Alamy During their discussion, the women talked about wedding dresses getting reused or passed down. It came as US actress Nicola Peltz wore her mother's vintage wedding dress as she renewed her vows with Brooklyn Beckham. Ruth asked Myleene whether she still had her wedding dress - from her 2011 wedding to Graham Quinn. Myleene answered: "It'd be an exorcism to get that out of the box. "No, I don't, this might surprise you. I think when it comes to wedding dresses, it's nice to let them do their own thing. "I think this idea of tradition - if they ask for it, great - but if it's not something they ask for, then it's who are you leaving the legacy for?" The former HearSay star recently opened up on her former husband Graham Quinn's alleged "cheating" with a fellow celebrity. During a recent episode of Paul Carrick Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast, Myleene told how she walked in on her then partner, 51, and another woman unzipping each other's clothes at her birthday party. The Pure and Simple hitmaker — who wouldn't divulge the female's name but said she built her career off a 'family brand' — revealed: 'I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony. It was in my house." Graham later fired back at these claims, as pals of the music manager suggested she is a "vindictive bully." Frankie Bridge posts cryptic TikTok about 'being a people pleaser' amid feud with Myleene Klass A source told MailOnline: "He thinks she's a bully. "They believe it was especially 'vindictive and calculated' of Myleene to launch the bombshell broadside on what she would have known was the week of Graham's 51st birthday." Later in the Loose Women episode, the panel spoke about social etiquette with friends' romantic partners. It came as Pete Wicks admitted he "disliked" one of best mate Sam Thompson's ex-girlfriends. In particular, Coleen discussed previously navigating similar dynamics with her friends. After hearing this, Myleene said: "I could've done with this friend. "Col, I could've done with you. He was the scruffy kid on the streets of Sheffield, but these days you'll find him front and centre at some of the UK's biggest music gigs and festivals. It's Thomas Turgoose — best known for his breakout role in This Is England — who has come a long way since those gritty days on screen. Nowadays, the actor is embracing a more laid-back, music-loving side, swapping the streets of Sheffield for the front row at some of the UK's biggest gigs. Thomas shared just how much he enjoyed the Oasis gig — even admitting he'd blown his life savings on the tickets. But the actor insisted it was worth it. Joining him in the crowd was pop singer Tom Grennan, best known for his hit singles, including "Little Bit of Love" and "Remind Me." Whether it's rocking out to Britpop legends or hanging out with the latest chart-toppers, Thomas knows how to enjoy life beyond the spotlight. Advertisement He took to Instagram to share snaps from the concert, capturing the electric atmosphere with shots of the packed crowd, the dazzling stage lights, and of course, his gig buddy Tom Grennan. The pair looked in high spirits, grinning for the camera with pints of beer in hand, proving it was a night to remember for both music and mates. The youngster, who was well-known for his short locks and baby-faced looks in the blockbuster, now sports noticeably longer, blonde locks. This Is England: Where are they now? This Is England, set in 1983, was a huge success when released in the noughties. The film was so well-loved that it spawned three TV series, which followed the characters in the years 86, 88, and 90. But what are the cast up to now? Thomas Turgoose (Shaun) The baby-faced star who stole the show as Shaun has grown up into a versatile actor. Thomas reprised his role in This Is England '86, '88 and '90*, before landing parts in Outlaw, The Scouting Book for Boys and Kingsman: The Secret Service. He's also been spotted living it up at music festivals and gigs — and yes, he's still close pals with his castmates. Vicky McClure (Lol) From skinhead queen to one of TV's most in-demand actresses, Vicky's career rocketed after This Is England. She's now best known for playing DI Kate Fleming in Line of Duty, racking up BAFTA awards and a legion of fans. She's also fronted ITV's Trigger Point and continues to champion mental health causes. Joe Gilgun (Woody) The lovable, laid-back Woody is now just as beloved off-screen. Joe went on to star in Misfits, play a vampire in US hit Preacher, and create the semi-autobiographical comedy-drama Brassic, where he also takes the lead. Stephen Graham (Combo) Already a powerhouse actor before This Is England, Stephen cemented his reputation with his raw, emotional turn as Combo. Since then, he's starred in Boardwalk Empire, Time, Boiling Point and The Walk-In, earning critical acclaim and BAFTA nominations. Andrew Shim (Milky) Milky's heartbreaking storyline left fans in bits, and Andrew's kept busy with acting roles and TV appearances, as well as work behind the camera. He's also been involved in sports and charity work. Rosamund Hanson (Smell) From quirky style queen to serious stage and screen actress, Rosamund's worked steadily in British TV and theatre since This Is England, including roles in Fresh Meat and Doctors. Andrew Ellis (Gadget) The cheeky, loyal Gadget has popped up in shows like Afterlife, This England and Top Boy, and remains a familiar face in gritty dramas. He has swapped his shaven head - seen in the first film - for a fuller head of hair, which he styles up in a swept-back quiff. Shaun, the scrappy but lovable kid from This Is England, captured hearts with his raw honesty and street-smart attitude. Advertisement This Is England, set in 1983, was a huge success when released in the noughties - and followed Thomas' character Shaun as he earned the respect of a gang of skinheads after he stood up to them. He was aged just 13 when he landed the role, but Thomas brought the character to life with such authenticity, making Shaun feel like one of us — a kid trying to find his place in a tough world. This Is England wasn't just a hit — it became a cultural phenomenon, pulling in millions of viewers and earning rave reviews for its honest portrayal of youth and Britain in the '80s. The original film scored an impressive 7.9 million viewers on its debut broadcast, while the follow-up TV series continued to captivate audiences, regularly hitting over 4 million viewers per episode. Advertisement Critics praised its gritty storytelling and powerful performances, cementing its place as one of the UK's most beloved dramas of the decade. Thomas won the Most Promising Newcomer award at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs) in 2006 for his role as Shaun in This Is England. He was also nominated for Best Actor at the British Independent Film Awards and received recognition from several critics' groups, but the BIFA win is the big one tied to his breakout performance. Since This Is England, Thomas has kept busy, taking on a mix of film and TV roles that show off his range. Advertisement From gritty dramas like This Is England '90 and This Is England '86 to roles in Outlaw and The Journey, he's proved he's no one-hit wonder. He has starred in a number of programmes, including The Innocence Project and Somers Town, as well as a cameo in Game of Thrones. The talented star has acted in Kingsman: The Golden Circle and Swimming with Men, and sci-fi show Intergalactic. He has also been a guest on BBC gameshow Pointless Celebrities and featured in The Scouting Book For Boys outside of acting. Advertisement Thomas married his long-term partner Charlotte Revell in 2019 in a picturesque New Year's Eve ceremony, with his former castmates by his side. Jo Hartley, who played his onscreen mum Cynth, Stephen Graham, who played Combo, Andrew Shim, who starred as Milky, and Andrew Ellis, who portrayed Gadget, were also in attendance. Away from the screen, Thomas has also become a familiar face at music festivals and live gigs. Where will he end up next? Mark Chapman will be first of new trio to host Saturday's Match of the Day
MARK CHAPMAN WILL present the BBC's first Match of the Day Saturday highlights programme this weekend, the PA news agency understands. Chapman is part of a three-person presenting line-up alongside Kelly Cates and Gabby Logan, who will work on rotation this season following the departure of former lead presenter Gary Lineker. PA understands Chapman will be the first of the trio to host the flagship Saturday night show. It is understood Cates will host a programme on Wednesday consisting of UEFA Super Cup highlights and a look ahead to the new Premier League season, while Logan will host Match of the Day's Sunday night programme this week. Advertisement The BBC announced on 15 January that Cates, Chapman and Logan would be the new presenting team. The news came following weeks of speculation about who would take over from Lineker after he said last year that he was stepping down. The 64-year-old had long intended the final Match of the Day of last season, on 26 May, to be the last time he would present the highlights programme but he was planning to stay on to front the BBC's live coverage of the FA Cup and 2026 World Cup. Earlier in the month however he announced he was bringing forward his departure following a social media row in which he shared a post about Zionism featuring a depiction of a rat, historically used as an antisemitic trope. Lineker, the BBC's highest-paid presenter and host of Match of the Day since 1999, apologised unreservedly for the post but said it was 'best for all concerned' if he left completely. Cates, the daughter of former Liverpool forward and manager Sir Kenny Dalglish, has been a presenter with Sky Sports since rejoining the broadcaster in 2016, fronting coverage of the Premier League. Cates is continuing in her role with Sky Sports. Chapman has been broadcasting for more than 25 years and has been a regular presenter of the BBC's Sunday night Match of the Day programme in the past. Kelly Cates. Alamy Stock Photo Alamy Stock Photo Former gymnast Logan became one of the first female sports anchors to break into terrestrial television and has covered several Olympic Games, the World Cup and the Commonwealth Games during her time at the BBC. She has presented Match Of The Day in Lineker's absence on many occasions, and was also a key part of the BBC's coverage of the last two Women's Euros in 2022 and this summer, with England emerging triumphant on both occasions.
