Mechanically this car doesn't get many changes compared to the standard car but the exterior and interior get some minor changes like a different colour theme and some changes to the seat upholstery and materials used inside. The estimated price of this SUV is around Rs 3.6crore to 4 crore.

These high-performance vehicles blend cutting-edge hybrid technology with track-ready engineering, setting new benchmarks in the grand tourer segment. Prices are expected to fall under the range of Rs 2.8–Rs3.5 crore.

Centre raises financial threshold for procurement of scientific equipment, consumables
New Delhi [India], June 7 (ANI): The Central government has raised financial limits under the General Financial Rules (GFRs) for procurement of scientific equipment and consumables. The simplification of GFRs will reduce delays and enhance autonomy and flexibility for the research organisations. Under the new rules, the Finance Ministry said that Vice Chancelors, Dierectors and academic institutions under specified departments and ministries will be able to make non-Government e-Marketplace (GeM) procurement of scientific equipment and consumables. As per the notification of the Finance Ministry, the institutions can now procure scientific instruments and consumables worth up to Rs 2 lakh without the need for quotations. The earlier limit was Rs 1 lakh, which is now doubled by the Centre. Similarly, under the new rules, purchase committees can procure equipment worth Rs 25 lakh. The financial ceiling for such purchases was Rs 10 lakh. In addition, vice-chancellors and directors can give nods to the global tenders enquiring up to a value of Rs 200 crore. The move will play a pivotal role in facilitating researchers, startups and innovators, said Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh in a post on the social media platform X. 'Here is some heartening news and a major breakthrough for young aspiring #StartUps, Innovators and Researchers: In a landmark step enabling #EaseOfDoingResearch, the GFR rules have been simplified for procurement of scientific equipment and consumables,' Union Minister Singh added in the X post. 'This will reduce delays and also enhance autonomy and flexibility for research institutions--empowering them to innovate faster,' the post added. As per the Finance Ministry, the new rules will be applicable to the authorities in departments and ministries such as science and technology, biotechnology, scientific and industrial research, atomic energy, space, earth sciences, and health research, including the Indian Council of Medical Research. According to the notification, apart from the above-mentioned departments, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and its affiliated universities and institutes offering postgraduate and doctoral-level programmes under any ministry or department will also benefit from the relaxed rules. NIBE signs licensing pact with DRDO for modular bridging systems
NIBE announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Research & Development Establishment (Engineers), Pune. The agreement covers the transfer of technology (ToT) to manufacture modular bridging systems ranging from 14 to 46 meters in length. Under the pact, NIBE will pay a total consideration of Rs 3.76 crore in tranches for the technology transfer. The company is licensed to use DRDOs technology for 10 years to manufacture Modular Bridging Systems in India, targeting the Indian Armed Forces and other central and state government agencies. DRDO will provide full technical know-how and testing methodologies. The Modular Bridging System is a complex, mechanically launched mobile solution designed for rapid deployment, enabling tracked and wheeled vehicles to cross obstacles efficiently. NIBE plans to launch the product within 24 months. NIBE trades in electronic components and fabrication materials and provides technical consultancy. It also provides services for the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of low- and medium-voltage lines and substations on a turnkey basis. The company's consolidated net profit declined 30% to Rs 7.64 crore on a 25.8% drop in total income to Rs 113.64 crore in Q4 FY25 over Q4 FY24. Kernex Microsystems JV bags Rs 183-cr KAVACH order from Western Railway
Kernex Microsystems (India) announced that its joint venture, the Kernex-KEC Consortium, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 182.81 crore from Western Railway. The contract involves the provision of KAVACH Version 4.0 or the latest (formerly known as Train Collision Avoidance System TCAS), including the deployment of a communication backbone based on UHF and OFC on the PalanpurSamakhiyaliGandhidham section under the Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway. The project is valued at Rs 182.81 crore and is scheduled to be executed within 730 days. Kernex holds a 70% stake in the consortium. Kernex Microsystems (India) is engaged in the manufacture and sale of safety systems and software services for railways. The company's consolidated net profit surged 358.2% to Rs 32.59 crore on an 829.9% rise in total income to Rs 83.69 crore in Q4 FY25 over Q4 FY24. Shares of Kernex Microsystems (India) rose 0.83% to close at Rs 1,234.20 on Friday, 6 June 2025.
