Vietnam Airlines launches new direct flights between Vietnam, Italy and Denmark
Starting July 1, 2025, Vietnam Airlines will operate its first-ever direct route to Italy, linking Hanoi and Milan. Then, from December 15, 2025, the same airline will launch the first direct flight between Vietnam and Denmark, connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Copenhagen – so travellers can explore Scandinavia without lengthy transits.
The Hanoi to Milan service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Flights from Copenhagen to Ho Chi Minh City will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while departures from Ho Chi Minh City to Copenhagen will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
As for fares, a one-way Economy ticket from Hanoi to Milan currently starts from 672 SGD while a one-way Economy ticket from Ho Chi Minh City to Copenhagen is priced from 560 SGD.

Choose the right device; tablets are easier to charge in-flight than laptops and still give you a big screen. Use in-flight entertainment systems where available to save your device battery. Be cautious with public USB ports at airports; they can be a cyber risk. Purchase certified power banks from reputable brands to ensure safety. Always carry power banks in your cabin bag — never in checked luggage. 'More and more airlines are introducing restrictions on using and charging portable devices in the aircraft,' says Heunes. Scoot launches new flights from Singapore to Okinawa, Tokyo's Haneda Airport, and Chiang Rai

Japanophiles will be thrilled to hear that the new flights to Tokyo's Haneda Airport will run on a daily basis starting from March, just in time for the sakura season. Scoot currently offers flights to Tokyo's Narita airport, but those who've been to both airports will tell you that Haneda Airport is the superior one with more facilities, dining and entertainment options. It's also closer to the city centre than Narita is. Those who are looking for new weekend getaways can now also consider Chiang Rai in Thailand – a less crowded alternative to the usual Bangkok. With this quick three-hour journey, Scoot once again eradicates the need for a layover, which nicely cuts down one's total travel time by around four hours.
