Kody Phillips Takes Us to the Cabaret for Fall/Winter 2025
Summary When you're looking at aKody Phillipscampaign, you know you're looking at a Kody Phillips campaign. It's through these captivating, quick-hitting visuals that the New York City-based label has nabbed a recurring top spot on our social media algorithms, transcending from a locally loved staple into a well-situated menswear outfitter with a growing global presence. The label's campaign for the Fall/Winter 2025 season is no stray away from the storytelling playbook, revelling in its retro-modern design approach and bringing the theatrical flair of the cabaret into a collection entitled 'The Great Show.' Phillips' largest and most ambitious presentation to date, 'The Great Show,' epitomizes the designer's commitment to sharp storytelling – and not, by any means, at the sacrifice of top-tier craftsmanship. Lensed by long-term creative direction collaborator of the brand, Kizzy Kalu, the latest ready-to-wear range is showcased in a lookbook set on a cabaret stage: curtains closed, light fixtures and prop ladders in place. The collection comes complete with both highly anticipated new silhouettes as well as a lineup of reworked signature pieces – the latter including a cleanly crafted Italian leather lasso jacket, finished off withPhillips' signature trim on the edges. For the first time ever, a handful of accessories shine under the spotlight, consisting of pastel pink riding gloves, elevated with all-over pearl detailing, while elsewhere, the coveted Rip Van Kody pants and Mesh Polo top are both revamped in new colorways. Before or after the curtain call, 'The Great Show' glimmers with elegance, asserting the bubbling brand, once again, as a force to be reckoned with in the high fashion zeitgeist. Check out the full collection in the lookbook above, and shop the drop when it lands on the Kody Phillipswebstorethis Friday, August 15.

Carolina Sarria FW25 Explores Empire and Identity
On August 15, New York-based designerCarolina Sarria's Fall 2025 collection 'The War of the Three Kingdoms will arrive at CDG-ownedDover Street MarketNY. Drawing its core inspiration from 17th century liberation struggles in the British Empire, the collection is a collage of historical symbols representing power and identity. The Colombian-born designer's punk-infused streetwear ethos is layered with references to the struggle for sovereignty in England, Scotland, and Ireland in the 1640s. She sets her focus on the Clubmen, a group of vigilantes that protected their villages from various forces on opposite sides. Tartans are stitched together in asynetrical compositions, representing the sense of disorder and fragmentation. Imperial symbols such as crowns and cartographic illustrations are tarnished, and ripped apart. Elsewhere small details like gleaming silver and gold threads, evoke the metallic shimmer of armor, swords, and shields. However, the final result simultaneously recall the Punk aesthetic of the 1970s, which also subverted symbols of imperialism such as the crown, aristocratic dress, and military uniforms. 'This is clothing for those unwilling to be written out of the story,' the brand concluded in an official statement. The collection is a reclamation of the discarded and damaged, converting these qualities into signs of resilience. Starting on the 15th, Dover Street Market New York will offer a capsule of exclusive graphic tees along side The War of Three Kingdoms FW25 collection.
