Christine and Paddy McGuinness 'struggling to sell £6.5m mansion' they still live in
Paddy McGuinness and Christine McGuinness are reportedly facing challenges in selling their family mansion. Following earlier reports this year, it's been suggested that Christine is keen to sell the property and start fresh.
Paddy, 51, and Christine, 37, who share three children together, went public with their split back in 2022. Despite the seperation, the pair have remained living together in their Cheshire family home while jointly raising their children.
However earlier in the year, it emerged that they had listed their seven-bedroom abode for sale at £6.5 million. However it's believed there has been very little interest in the residence, according to reports in the Mirror.
The house, boasting a gym among other lavish features, has reportedly been on the market for four months. The Sun explained that even for its location, the price is steep, with a source indicating that the housing market is currently "a bit flat".
A source disclosed to the publication: "It's a lovely house with all mod cons in a fantastic location but there's been very little interest. It's the most expensive house in Prestbury on Rightmove but it appears the market's a bit flat right now".
When Paddy and Christine announced their divorce after an 11 year marriage in 2022, they voiced their intention to remain living together. They made the decision for their three children, 11 year old twins Leo and Penelope, and eight-year-old Felicity.
Their joint statement read at the time: "We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together."
The former couple have opened up about their decision to stay under the same roof for co-parenting purposes. During her appearance on the Shizzio Show, which aired back in March, Christine divulged details of their unique living situation.
Christine revealed that they occupy "separate" areas within the house. She explained: "We separated three years ago and we are completely divorced, and we live in separate parts of the house but we share a family home".
Rumours have circulated that Christine is eager to put the property on the market. Reports also suggested that the Real Housewives of Cheshire star was feeling "utterly miserable" with the arrangement of living alongside her ex-husband.
An insider confided to the Daily Mail about her inability to continue sharing a home with Paddy. The source disclosed: "Christine is at the end of her tether and can't carry on living with Paddy".
At that time, the source also hinted at Christine's wishes to downsize in the future. They remarked: "She is desperate to sell the house, split the proceeds, and buy a smaller property where she can live happily with their three children".

They just missed out on scooping the Love Island crown after missing out to Toni and Cach. Alongside Shakira, in their first TV interview since leaving the villa, Harry was quizzed on ITV's Lorraine about whether reports that he had a "secret girlfriend" outside of the villa were true. "I couldn't have been more single going into the villa. I mean, my actual ex-girlfriend was in the villa," he said. However, Harry then admitted: "I was definitely dating. I was definitely seeing people. "And also, with the process, there's no guarantee you're not in the villa till you're in the villa." Host Christine Lampard then asked him if he was "exclusive" yet with Shakira, but he brushed off the suggestion. "We haven't… So, for me, I think when we rekindled and we recoupled, I only had eyes for Shakira," Harry said. "There's no-one else I want to get to know. That hasn't changed since coming on the outside world." Shortly after arriving in the villa, The Sun exclusively revealed how Harry had been accused of dumping a stunning girl he was dating, just days before he was revealed as an islander. Love Island's Harry reveals he's moving to Burnley to live in with Shakira just days after leaving the villa After finding out he was going on Love Island, the heartbroken woman explained that she thought he was flying out to Bali, not to the villa in Mallorca. She told The Sun at the time: 'I was dating Harry until the moment he sat on the flight going to Love Island. 'He told me he was going to Bali and I genuinely thought we had a future together, but no. He is a huge manipulator and I'm not the only girl he's done this too.' She continued to explain that other girls had spoken to her, claiming they, too, were dating Harry. 6 There were reports that Harry had a 'secret girlfriend' outside of the villa Credit: TikTok/@harrycooksley8 She added: 'Turns out he was dating a few people at once.' She continued: 'He called me for three hours before he jetted off to Love Island, and told me he was going to Bali to build a life for our family. It's so scary how he lied to me, and I feel so broken. I've been completely blindsided by him. 'I also got a call from another girl after it came to light that he was going on the show, and she said he'd been dating her for seven months, at the same time that he was dating me. 'I was even planning on meeting him out in Bali, because it was such a secure conversation and he never ended what we had, despite knowing he was going on Love Island.' In a heartbreaking final revelation she added: 'I've never cried so much and felt so blindsided and lied to like this from another human being.' ITV has responded to the claims at the time, and said: 'All of our Islanders are single and looking for love," when approached for comment. 6 It comes after Harry made a huge revelation about his romance with Shakira Credit: ITV Meanwhile, during their time in the villa, Shakira and Harry faced many obstacles, which saw him coupled up with Helena for most of the time. However, it now seems like Harry FINALLY knows what he wants. Appearing on Love Island's Morning After podcast earlier this week, the couple were quizzed on what was next for them. Shakira replied: "Who knows? We're taking it day by day at the minute. I think it's just been mad." Not missing a beat, Harry then revealed he was planning to move up north away from his native Guildford, so he can be with his new love. "'I'm straight on Right Move (estate agent), looking at barn conversions in Burnley," he said. He then turned to Shakira and said: "What about you, babe? Moving in next door?"

BBC Strictly Come Dancing star makes prediction over show's future
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Vincent Simone, the 46-year-old dancer who graced the BBC 's Saturday night staple Strictly Come Dancing from 2006 to 2012, anticipates that the show will continue to air for at least another decade. The programme, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year, has amassed immense popularity and Vincent believes this will ensure its longevity on our screens. In an exclusive chat with BANG Showbiz, Vincent confidently stated: "I think it will carry on for at least another 10 years. I mean, I don't see why not. "We meet all the Strictly fans who come and see our own shows and they just love it too much. It's the best excuse to get together, families or friends, a bunch of ladies, and they just gossip about the show, they just get entertained from amazing dancing or, you know, fit celebrities." (Image: BBC) He continued: "There is everything in that show and every year you have the variety because you get 16 new celebrities joining the show so it's going to be fresh. You can't say, 'Oh it's always the same thing', yes, they might do the same dances but every person is so individual, especially when they have character and personality. "It's an amazing show. I can't see it ever ending but I will say at least another 10 years just by meeting the fans at the stage door afterwards, they're just obsessed with the show. They will always watch it, no matter what." Vincent believed the timing was perfect to depart Strictly when he announced his exit in 2013 but disclosed that he would welcome a comeback to the programme, especially after witnessing his mate Ian Waite flourish on Dancing with the Stars - the Australian edition of the show, reports the Mirror. The Italian performer explained: "When I left, I thought that was the right time. I was super busy and it go the point where it was seven years in a row, it got to the point where I just needed a change. I did get my change with West End shows and so many other things. "I think now with age, like Ian is taking part in the Australian version. He loves it, he's doing really well. When you watch him dancing with these celebrities on the Australian version you think, 'Oh my gosh'. For me, because he's my friend, but for me he still has it. He could easily be on Strictly the UK version and I like to think that I could do the same because I could bring my personality and my dancing. So I wouldn't mind that as a challenge at some point." (Image: Evening Gazette) Vincent is set to feature alongside former Strictly professionals - Ian Waite, James Jordan, Brendan Cole and Pasha Kovalev - in The Return of the Legends tour this autumn and shared that the performances will be more spectacular than last year's sold-out tour. He commented: "We've got a semi-new show coming up and we're all looking forward to it because obviously it's been nearly a year. It will be nice to be back all together and come out bigger than last year. "We're also gonna have our solos which for me personally are the most special numbers in the show, when each individual couple gets the stage on their own and for me that's just magic. Everybody has the chance to showcase their talent and their own style of dance. I'll be doing my Argentine Tangos, Ian will be doing his beautiful ballroom dances and Pasha, the Latin king, will be doing his Samba numbers and so on." Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

Couple 'devastated' after being told huge £18,000 Gala Bingo win was an 'error'
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info A couple were left utterly "devastated" after their near £18,000 win on Gala Bingo turned out to be a technical glitch, resulting in their winnings being voided. Sarah Nicole Thurgood, 49, and her husband Mark, 56, believed they had hit the jackpot with a "life-changing" sum during an online bingo game on Monday. But their joy was short-lived as their accounts were suspended within hours, their balances cleared, and they were told the significant wins were erroneous. The couple, from Chichester, West Sussex, were among numerous players who thought they had won big, only to have their dreams dashed due to a technical mishap. Sarah, who is employed at an art gallery, recounted: "The money would have changed our lives dramatically. It's a total c**k-up on their behalf. They have messed with a lot of people's minds. I just don't see how they can get away with it." On Monday at 7pm, Sarah entered the Bargain Room on Gala Bingo and quickly, both she and Mark won £40 each. Their winnings escalated to £200 victories before soaring even higher. "I didn't really think too much of that, I just thought we had got lucky," Sarah admitted, reports the Mirror. (Image: Sarah Nicole Thurgood/SWNS) She described the experience as somewhat surreal, especially since they had never won such a large amount before, with Mark's previous top win being £70. Mark began his foray into Gala Bingo in April 2024, and Sarah joined the fun later that November. The pair had only ever put in a tenner between them, cleverly using free games and bonus credits to keep playing. When they cashed out £230 and £275 respectively, the money was in their bank accounts in a flash, making their winnings feel all the more real. Sarah even sought confirmation from a chatroom host, who assured her the cash was "was legit". She recounted her disbelief at winning, saying: "Then in the next game it said that I had won £600. I actually did have tears in my eyes and my head in my hands thinking this isn't right is it? Is this for real?". The chatroom soon buzzed with other players sharing news of big wins. Sarah and Mark didn't hold back, snapping up the maximum number of tickets for upcoming games and seeing potential wins of £2,400 pop up repeatedly. At one stage, their combined account balance was just shy of £18,000. Describing the experience, she said: "That felt a bit surreal. I was just saying to my husband over and over that this is totally surreal." Her excitement was palpable as she expressed her feelings: "I was elated. I was quite sceptical at that point, but still excited thinking 'b****y hell we've pretty much won the best part of 18 grand between us and for us that's quite life-changing'." The couple had humble plans for their windfall, as Sarah explained: "We weren't thinking about spending it on flash things. We live in a motorhome, we have to pay for places to stay. I only work part-time and unfortunately Mark can't work at the moment because he suffered with shingles and he's got post-herpetic neuralgia. "We would have spent it just on living. We haven't got any big ambitions. I don't need a new car. I don't want to live in a house. That money would have just made life easier. "My life would have changed. I had £400 in my bank at the time and you're thinking 'I could have another few grand in my bank yeah that would be sweet'." However, Sarah's joy was short-lived as her attempt to withdraw a £1,000 win got stuck. At 3am, she found her account suspended and soon after, Mark's account was also closed. The next day, when access was restored, the withdrawn cash had vanished, with Sarah's account showing only £80 and her withdrawal marked as "cancelled". She expressed her frustration: "I was angry." Sarah believes the prize pot should have been around £150 shared among winners, but due to a system error, the winnings were inflated to over £1.6 million. Gala reached out to players explaining: "Unfortunately, due to the technical error, your account was incorrectly credited with bingo winnings. We apologise for any inconveniences this may have caused." As compensation, all affected players received a £20 bingo bonus, which Sarah felt was more of a slight than a consolation. She expressed: "I just think if we weren't more stronger-minded then this could send people into quite deep depression and I've read some messages where it actually has for people with mental health problems and money problems. "People were saying 'oh my god I can't believe this I'm able to take my kids on holiday, I can afford my vets bills' and then for that to be snatched away, it's just ruined people's lives. They have literally raised people's hopes and then dashed in a matter of hours." A representative for Gala Bingo responded: "We apologise to customers for a technical error which occurred during our Summer Nights Bingo promotion for a short period of time, resulting in all players receiving incorrect payouts. "Our customer Terms and Conditions clearly state that in the event of a malfunction, winnings can be voided. Affected players have been contacted directly with a gesture of goodwill."
