'The Uruguayan's three-year spell with the Reds concludes after he finalised a switch to the Saudi Pro League side today.

Nunez moved to Anfield in June 2022 from Benfica for an initial fee of £64m.
He scored 40 goals in 143 appearances for the Reds, but started just eight Premier League matches during their title-winning season last term.
Nunez was a target for another Saudi club, Al Nassr, in January, but a £60m bid was rejected as Liverpool did not want to sell in the middle of the season.
However, his departure looked inevitable after a string of unconvincing displays, and takes Liverpool's income from sales this summer to almost £200m, with more likely to follow with £40m-plus-rated midfielder Harvey Elliott possibly on the move.
It also opens up a space in their forward line, which has already been strengthened with the arrival of Hugo Ekitike as part of a near-£300m spend, and the number nine shirt.
Liverpool retain an interest in Newcastle's Alexander Isak after having a £110m bid rejected last week.
Magpies boss Eddie Howe confirmed on Friday that the wantaway Sweden striker is unlikely to feature in the opening game of the Premier League season at Aston Villa.

Alejandro Garnacho has set his mind on a move to Chelsea after Manchester United revealed their asking price. The Red Devils have been looking to offload Garnacho all summer, with the Argentine international one of the unwanted players placed into a 'bomb squad'. Garnacho was told by United boss Ruben Amorim to find a new club in May, after the winger was unhappy to start on the bench in the Europa League final. Chelsea hold strong interest in the 20-year-old, who is believed to be valued at £50million - significantly less than the £70m that United initially wanted. The Blues' hierarchy have no concerns over his character after doing their homework. In total Garnacho has played 144 games for United and has scored 26 goals, while he has provided 22 assists. He won the FA Cup with United in the 2023-24 campaign and the EFL Cup in the previous season. The Stamford Bridge club are still assessing whether to add another centre back for Enzo Maresca but intend to sell before making more buys. Nicolas Jackson remains an option for the likes of Newcastle while Christopher Nkunku is wanted by former club RB LEIPZIG as part of negotiations over Xavi Simons. Nkunku has a number of options but Chelsea would be open to reducing the fee for Simons by including the French forward in any deal. Leipzig are also keen on Chelsea's Tyrique George.

Arne Slot feels no ‘bad intention' in Palace fan noise during Diogo Jota tribute
Tributes were paid to former Reds forward Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash with his brother Andre Silva last month and were honoured with wreaths laid on the pitch and a period of silence before kick-off. A minority of Eagles fans broke the silence, eliciting a strong response at the other end of the pitch, as well as from other Eagles supporters who tried to silence those not respecting the tribute. 'I don't think this was planned, or that this was the idea of the fan that made some noise. Maybe he wasn't aware of the fact that it was the minute of silence,' Slot said. 'He was just still happy and tried to cheer for his team. And I think then the fans of Palace were trying to calm that person or those persons down, so I don't think he had a bad intention, the guy or people that made noise. 'They tried to calm him down, but that was a bit noisy as well. And then our fans reacted, 'Hey, what's happening here?'. 'So I don't think there's a bad intention to it, because the fans of Crystal Palace and everywhere around the world have paid huge respect to Diogo and Andre and this was, I think, unlucky or, I can't find the right words, but I don't think there was a bad intention in it. 'We will see Friday, when Bournemouth come to our stadium, how respectful that is going to happen. 'It's also five weeks ago, so that's why maybe this fan who was just so happy for them to be in the Community Shield that he forgot in a second.' Liverpool fans earlier paid their respects with a rousing rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' as the wreaths were brought out, raising a white banner reading 'Diogo J' and featuring the forward's image and number 20. The club's record goalscorer Ian Rush, Palace chairman Steve Parish and Football Association chair Debbie Hewitt laid the wreaths in the Liverpool end as fans from both sides showed their respect with a standing ovation as the siblings' images were displayed on the big screens inside the stadium.
