Monica kicks off her tips with a bold move that might make your hairdresser gasp: DIY hair trims.
For regular trims and maintaining layers and fringes, she grabs the scissors herself in the comfort of her home.
The ultimate luxury for her? Not having to leave the house.
She still gets an annual professional trim, but her at-home snips save her "a couple of hundred pounds a year."

Her go-to spots are charity shops, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, and eBay for "secondhand or antique" finds.
She emphasises that you don't need to spend a fortune to find high-quality antique items, and that your home will look "so much more luxurious if you have unique pieces that really demonstrate your personality and your style."

More like an iced bun, they are very sticky and sickly and I found the similarity to a brown bap a bit disconcerting. There's no textural notes either, everything is very mushy. Although they don't have the plate appeal, if it's just an affordable sticky sweet cinnamon treat you want, they'll do the job. Advertisement Very filling, too. Showing viewers a plate of delicious looking stuffed courgettes with vegetables, she said: "I understand I'm in a different country, but what on earth are these foods? "They look absolutely awful." Showing the camera a dish of traditional black eye beans with Swiss chards, she then said: "I couldn't think of anything worse." Simone then spotted a pizza and got excited as she thought it was margherita, but after reading that the label said Quatro Formaggi (four cheese) she decided to give it a miss. The holidaymaker then decided to put some plain bread on her plate, along with a portion of chips. "If these had herbs on, I wouldn't have got them", she admitted. "I just don't like the taste of seasoning." She then placed some ribs on her plate, and a small bit of pork from a stir fry, making sure to avoid the veg as she "hates spring onions".
