King returns home, greeted by crowds from across Kingdom
AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah returned home on Thursday after a working visit to the US, where he met with President Donald Trump.
Thousands of Jordanians from across the Kingdom organised rallies in Amman and near the Marka Airport to welcome His Majesty and HRH Crown Prince.
Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi, lawmakers, political parties leaders, tribal leaders, notables and representatives of civil society organisations participated in the rallies.
Mobs raised the Jordanian flags and slogans expressing support for the King and appreciation for his unwavering commitment to defending the nation's interests, his firm stance on regional issues, particularly his rejection of forced displacement plans.
Along the route from Marka Military Airport to Raghadan Palace, large crowds gathered, waving flags and holding portraits of the King, voicing their strong backing for His Majesty's leadership, particularly his opposition to the forced displacement of Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza. This demonstration of solidarity was a clear reflection of national pride and unity.

Jordanian army issues statement about potential airspace breaches
A military source stated that Royal Jordanian Air Force planes are currently conducting intensive patrols and air sorties along the border areas. These operations aim to monitor the skies and detect any attempts to breach Jordanian airspace by any party, in order to preserve the kingdom's sovereignty and ensure the safety of its citizens. Early Friday, 'Israel' launched a large-scale military offensive on Iran, striking key nuclear and military targets, including the Natanz enrichment facility. The strikes killed several top Iranian military and nuclear scientists, including IRGC commander-in-chief Hossein Salami, and Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces as well as scientists Tehranchi and Abbasi. Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei condemned the attack as a 'bloody and criminal act,' vowing severe retaliation. Civilian casualties were reported, with airstrikes hitting residential areas in Tehran.
