Northern Tool + Equipment Selects TreviPay to Power Pay by Invoice Net Terms Program

Business Wire07-05-2025
OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TreviPay, the most-trusted B2B payments and invoicing network, today announced its Pay by Invoice program with Northern Tool + Equipment, a major supplier of tools and equipment. The partnership powers the new Northern Tool Commercial Account program designed exclusively for businesses to provide greater flexibility and convenience in managing payments. The net terms program enables businesses net 30 payment terms and flexible invoicing options to better meet the payment preferences of B2B buyers across America.
Through the new Commercial Account net terms program, businesses served by Northern Tool + Equipment will be able to complete purchases easily across all sales channels. Additional functionality will allow business owners to make purchases and assign other employees to safely pick-up products in-store – an important program customization for Northern Tool's customers who seek this convenience. McKinsey's recent B2B Pulse Survey underscores this omnichannel payments expectation, as B2B decision makers are equally seeking in-person interactions, remote communications and digital self-serve options across all geographies, industries and company sizes. More than half of the survey respondents would also switch suppliers if they don't have a smooth experience across channels.
'Payment experiences serve as critical, but often overlooked opportunities to build B2B customer loyalty,' said Brandon Spear, CEO of TreviPay. 'Without thoughtful management of payment touchpoints, including seamless payment processes and offering preferred purchase options like net terms, today's retailers risk losing ground to those that prioritize customer experience at check-out.'
By offering net terms to its business buyers through TreviPay, Northern Tool + Equipment can streamline its accounts receivable processes with automated application decisioning, quick buyer onboarding and a reduction in manual, back-office demands. TreviPay's technology and managed services enable the retailer to focus on growth and customer care, rather than collections.
'For over 40 years, the folks who tackle the toughest jobs have counted on us to deliver more than just tools—we deliver the kind of service that gets the job done right,' said Lisa Cordes, Director of Finance Shared Services at Northern Tool + Equipment. 'Teaming up with TreviPay lets us bring that same no-nonsense, get-it-done attitude to checkout. Because when it comes to payment options, our customers deserve tools that work as hard as they do.'

Bernstein Reaffirms Outperform on TSM, $249 PT Amid Rising Capex Trends

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (NYSE:TSM) is one of the On August 15, Bernstein SocGen Group analyst Mark Li reiterated an Outperform rating on the stock with a $249.00 price target. The firm's analysis is a reflection of TSMC's significant position in the semiconductor equipment market. Investors are paying close attention to TSM's spending plans as they impact semiconductor equipment stocks, the broader chip industry, and AI. Bernstein noted that a substantial portion of TSMC's capital expenditure is allocated to infrastructure and non-wafer-based equipment, such as packaging and testing technologies. The firm also noted how WFE-to-semiconductor ratio remains elevated due to on shoring trends and technological complexity. Recent data illustrates that capital expenditure per wafer is also rising more rapidly than previously anticipated. Moreover, TSMC's spending is deflationary while China's is inflationary. With the US pushing companies to bring production back home, it is unclear whether it will be as aggressive as China. 'TSMC is 15-25% of the global wafer fab equipment (WFE) market, but China is 30-40%, as a sizable part of TSMCs capex is for infrastructure & non-wafer-based equipment (e.g. for packaging & testing). 15-25% is consistent with TSMC being10-20% of their total revenue disclosed by AMAT & TEL & 30-40% by ASML. Technology complexity & onshoring trend will keep the overall WFE/semi ratio elevated if not higher. Recent data suggests capex per wafer is rising more rapidly than we thought. More importantly TSMCs deflationary but China is inflationary & much bigger. The US uses tariffs, etc. to push onshoring capacity but also grants exemptions. This motivates companies/countries to over-promise & under-deliver. Time will tell if the US will be as forceful as China to make the US as meaningful to WFE.' Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (NYSE:TSM) manufactures and sells advanced chips used in artificial intelligence applications. While we acknowledge the potential of TSM as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. Liebherr finalises equipment supply deals across Glencore's Australia operations

Liebherr-Australia has finalised multi-year equipment supply agreements with Glencore for its Australian operations. As part of phase one of the agreement, Liebherr will deliver 17 mining machines across Glencore's six major operations in Queensland and New South Wales (NSW) by the end of 2026. To ensure the long-term performance of these machines, Liebherr-Australia will provide dedicated site support including embedded technicians and training for operators and technical staff. Besides the initial 17 machines, additional units are scheduled for delivery in both Queensland and NSW throughout 2027, as part of the ongoing agreement with Glencore. Liebherr-Australia sales, marketing, training and solutions executive general manager Brian Boitano said: 'We are excited to announce this new era of partnership with Glencore. Securing multi-year supply agreements of this scale is a proud moment for Liebherr-Australia. It reflects the capability of our national team to support large, complex fleets and deliver consistent performance across multiple sites.' The agreement, stemming from Glencore's 2023 group tender, will commence with the delivery of ten R 9600s, five R 9400s, one R 9800 and one R 9100. Notably, seven of these machines will be powered by Liebherr's D9812 engines. To date, seven of the planned 17 machines have been commissioned at Glencore's sites. The delivery of two R 9600 excavators to the Hail Creek mine represents Liebherr's first equipment at the Queensland operation. In NSW, Liebherr-Australia has delivered its first excavators to Ravensworth and introduced new machines at the United Wambo mine. Boitano added: 'Delivering multiple machines to Glencore over the past eight months, some of which were the first to be introduced to Ravensworth, was a testament to our high-performing product portfolio and also marked an important milestone in our partnership.' In the Hunter Valley region of NSW, Glencore's Ravensworth, United Wambo, Bulga and Mount Owen operations will collectively receive 12 of the 17 machine deliveries by the end of 2026. In Queensland, Glencore's Hail Creek operation welcomed its first Liebherr machine, an R 9600, in February, with another added in July and one more expected in 2026. The company's Rolleston site will also receive two R 9600s next year. Boitano concluded: 'This agreement lays a solid foundation for our future with Glencore and we are excited about more machines coming in 2026 and 2027, with the potential for further expansion. For now, production and reliability are what matter most and we are proud to play a role in delivering both. Together, we are building a long-term partnership.'
