Filmmaker Nidhi Dutta has embraced motherhood, having delivered her baby girl, Sitara, just ten days ago. Speaking to
Bombay Times
, she says, 'The feeling of gratitude… it's been surreal… God is kind, and we are forever indebted to the almighty.'

Known for being vocal about her journey to motherhood, Nidhi shares that she's taking postpartum in stride. 'I've been very open about my journey of trying to conceive so for me postpartum is part and parcel of having become a mother which is what I wanted and yearned for," she adds.
Reflecting on the emotional moment of holding her daughter for the first time, she adds, 'Like I said… it was the moment a woman must feel closest to the almighty for having given her the feeling of creation.'
On whether motherhood has shifted her perspective on work, she admits, 'I think it's too early."
JP Dutta's daughter, Nidhi, took to Instagram to announce the arrival of her baby girl. She posted an adorable pink poster with the words, 'She's here! Ecstatic and overjoyed parents Nidhi and Binoy.' In the caption, she revealed their daughter's name and birth date: 'Sitara Dutta Gandhi. 7.7.2025.' The post quickly drew warm wishes and love from celebrities like Sagarika Ghatge, Manish Malhotra, Ayushmann Khurrana, Suniel Shetty, Athiya Shetty, and many others.4
