John Mulaney just announced he's taking his 'Mister Whatever Tour' to arenas, theaters, casinos, amphitheaters, music bowls, wineries and events centers all over North America from June through December.
Along the way, the tireless comic/talk show host/voice actor/Broadway star/member of the 'SNL' Five-Timers Club/father of two is slated to make a number of New York and New Jersey stops.
First up, Mulaney, 42, will drop into Newark, NJ's Prudential Center with Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson on Friday, June 27 as part of the Garden State's North 2 Shore Festival.
After that, he hits Verona, NY's Turning Stone Resort Casino on Saturday, June 28, Bethel, NY's Bethel Woods Center For The Arts on Friday, Aug. 8 (with Fred Armisen, Mike Birbiglia, and Nick Kroll) and Rochester, NY's Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Armisen, Birbiglia and Kroll will join Mulaney on select dates; as of now, they're booked for five shows. The Stewart and Davidson Newark night is a one-off; he'll also share the stage with Martin Short in Canada on July 19-20.
The nationwide tour — which is curiously missing a Chicago date as of now — was announced via a grainy VHS ransom video where Mulaney is blindfolded and handcuffed in the backseat of a car wedged in between two men whose faces have been blurred out.
'Hey, it's me, John Mulaney, and I've got great news,' the stand-up said cheerily. 'I'm going on tour. My new tour 'Mister Whatever' is coming to a city near you.'
This North American run comes on the heels of the first season of John Mulaney's 12-episode Netflix talk show 'Everybody's Live,' which concludes May 16. Prior to that, he starred in Simon Rich's 'All In' on Broadway alongside Fred Armisen, Richard Kind, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Chloe Fineman.
In September 2023, the New York Post caught Mulaney live in Atlantic City five months after the release of his latest special 'Baby J.' They claimed his mostly airtight set where he was working out new material 'displayed a mastery of the form.'

From July through September, huge comics will be dropping into parks all over Canada and the Pacific Northwest as part of the annual Great Outdoor Comedy Festival.

Our top scorer is actually tied with six other people for the overall lead but has the better point score of 13,468 points by using the two Super Bets (500 points each) wisely.
