Horry County motorcycle crash leaves 2 dead

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — An early morning motorcycle crash left two people dead in Horry County on Monday, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.
Two people were riding on a 2004 Honda Motorcycle at 12:15 a.m. on Towne Centre Parkway near Breakers Drive, about three miles west of Myrtle Beach.
The motorcycle was driving east when it went off the left side of the road and hit a curb before hitting a utility box, Sgt. Tyler Tidwell said. Both riders died at the scene.
According to Horry County Fire Rescue, the roads were closed for an extended period of time following the crash.

Pedestrian dies after collision on I-26, state troopers say

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A pedestrian died Friday after being struck by a vehicle traveling on Interstate 26 through North Charleston, according to state troopers. A 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling east on I-26 when the driver struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the road by the 209-mile marker. The pedestrian died on the scene from their injuries.
