Killer John left reeling in Emmerdale as new Nate evidence comes to light

Metro3 days ago
John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) is in for a shock when it's revealed that Nate's death in Emmerdale is not all wrapped up in a bow as he thought – there's some damning evidence floating around that could yet bring him to justice.
This is not good news and could mean all the hard work he put in framing dead man Owen for the murder was all for nothing.
He's even managed to get Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) off his back after he came dangerously close to discovering the truth.
Robert figured out that Owen had an alibi and that John had been to his house the day before he was found dead.
But John carefully orchestrated things to discredit Robert in both the villagers' eyes and sister Vic's (Isabel Hodgins) both by portraying him as a scorned ex, and a threat to nephew Harry's safety.
Now John just has to worry about the fact that actual, credible evidence is about to come to light.
DC Cole puts Cain (Jeff Hordley) on edge when he's told they need to discuss Nate's murder. There is new evidence, which they need to discuss. Cain relays this to John, who is immediately struck with a sense of impending doom.
It opens wounds for Cain and Tracy (Amy Walsh), who thought they could put the nature of Nate's death to bed and begin to work through their loss. But a fresh round of questioning reignites the pain.
The elusive removal man is finally tracked down and suspicions are raised when Tracy shows him a photo and he doesn't recognise the man – Nate – who supposedly hired him. More Trending
The police question him and he confirms it was in fact Owen who paid for his service. Of course, John has got involved here – it appears he has paid the man off.

But for all intents and purposes for everyone else, they have their man. John is relieved to hear they've all bought it and even Robert becomes contrite about what he's got wrong.
But all is not ok for John. He might think he's in the clear, but Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) stumbles across something just as damning that could unravel everything.

Princess Andre addresses parents' bitter feud after dad Peter's bombshell claims

Princess Andre has opened up about her parents' public spat after dad Peter Adre posted a blistering statement accusing Katie Price of peddling lies for 16 years. It's officially crunch time for the noughties' most iconic couple over 20 years since former glamour model Katie, 47, and Mysterious Girl hitmaker Peter, 52, fell in love on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2004. After marrying in 2005, welcoming two children – Junior, 20, and Princess, 18 – and then divorcing four years later, relations turned sour for the former lovebirds. Tensions have officially boiled over, as Pete took to social media last night with some rare stern words for his ex-wife. Now Princess has addressed the sudden escalation on Snapchat during a Q&A after she was asked: 'Does it affect you even now when your mum and dad don't get on?' The teen responded: 'To be honest it doesn't affect me. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don't even have any memory of them being together' Over the top of the clip, Princess added: 'I love my mum and dad and that's all that matters.' In his shock Instagram statement last night, Peter wrote: 'The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. 'For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. 'In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. 'In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. 'Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.' In a statement to Metro, Katie's representative said in response: 'Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. 'Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was…' This comes after Katie slammed those producing Princess's debut reality ITV series, The Princess Diaries. More Trending 'I want the best for Junior and Princess, and I would never get in the way of it,' she began. Katie explained: 'But what hurts my feelings, and it does upset me, is when your kids grow up, you go to their assemblies, you go to their Christmas things, you go to their awards, you go to their football matches or gymnastics, you're involved in everything they do. 'And knowing that, what my career has been, Princess is taking that same path, trying to do the same as what I've done, which I absolutely love and adore [about] Princess.' Got a story? Most iconic Fast and Furious villain still 'waiting for a call' for the sequel

Jason Momoa has opened up about plans to return for Fast and Furious 11, admitting that he's still 'waiting for a call' from movie bosses. The Dune legend made his debut as campy villain Dante Reyes in 2023's Fast X, and was clearly in his element alongside the star-studded cast, including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese and co. After Vin confirmed that the 11th and final instalment will be racing onto the big screen in 2027, the 46-year-old revealed that he would love to 'f**k s**t up' once again. Speaking to Metro to promote his stunning historical drama, Chief of War, talk turned to his future projects, and whether we would ever see Dante again. 'Listen, they couldn't get rid of me if they tried,' he declared. 'But I'm just saying that I'm waiting for them to call. 'I'm ready to go. You can quote me, I'm ready to f**k s**t up.' The most recent Fast and Furious movie ended on an almighty cliffhanger, perfectly setting up Dante's desire to exact revenge on the gang after the events of the fifth movie led to his father's death. Jason's unhinged performance was a hit with fans and critics alike, with many branding his character the franchise's 'best villain yet'. Unpacking his efforts in a chat with Variety at the time, he shared that he had the time of his life with the role. 'I've never played a character that's, what's the word – he's evil and quirky and androgynous,' he teased. 'He's very sadistic and fun. It's very bizarre. 'I haven't played a villain in a very long time.' The Game of Thrones icon jumped right into character and actually improvised some of his most morbid scenes, including one where he enjoyed a cocktail with two of his dead henchmen. Director Louis Leterrier raved about his efforts in front of the camera, telling the Hollywood Reporter: 'What you have to realize is that Jason and I love each other. 'We found each other on this movie, and we realized that making each other laugh was a great way to create Dante. 'We really liked making each other laugh, and the extra points, the joker of our game, was to get Vin to crack up and come out of character as Dom Toretto. More Trending 'So we tried really hard, like when Dante calls Dom 'butthole,' but Vin is so focused when he is on set that it was impossible.' Fingers crossed that they can get him to crack in the next one… This article was first published on August 1. Fast and Furious 11 is slated to be released in 2027. Got a story?
