JSP condemns YSRCP's factionist politics
Jana Sena district president Shaik Reyaz and senior leader Kandi Ravi Sankar severely criticised the YSRCP at a press meet held here on Tuesday. Reyaz, who also serves as Chairman of AP Livestock Development Agency Corporation, accused YSRCP of shameless conduct despite the public mandate that reduced their representation significantly. He alleged that the party is now spreading factional politics across the state and urged YSRCP workers to understand their leader Jagan Mohan Reddy's true nature.
Reyaz questioned why Jagan visits only the families of betting victims, those who insult women, and cannabis users. Reyaz warned that if Jagan continues this behaviour, YSRCP will not win a single seat in future elections. He expressed confidence that the state would develop rapidly under the leadership of Modi, Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh. Kandi Ravishankar praised the coalition government's performance over the past year, highlighting that it has maintained clean governance without any scams or corruption under the joint leadership of Modi, Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh. He noted that people from all sections of society are happy with the current administration. He credited Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan with securing maximum funds from the Centre and bringing significant changes to the panchayat system. He highlighted the success of the Yogandhra programme, where five lakh people participated, and claimed the entire world is now looking towards Andhra Pradesh.
Jana Sena district vice-president Chittem Prasad, secretaries Kalyan Mutyala and Rayani Ramesh, urban vice-president Pilli Rajesh, chief secretary Palla Prameela, leader Vasavi Kasu, and others attended the meeting.

Ex-Andhra MP's Daughter In Trouble Over Coastal Zone Rules Violation
Hyderabad: The daughter of a former YSRCP Member of Parliament and her husband have landed in trouble after a company owned by them was charged with alleged Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) norms violations in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam district. P Neha Reddy, daughter of Vijayasai Reddy, and Rohit Reddy are facing legal action over an accusation that their company constructed a wall at the popular Bheemili or Bheemunipatnam Beach. The police have registered a case based on a complaint by the Andhra Pradesh Coastal Zone Management Authority (APCZMA) and a local court directive in this matter. The action followed a March directive by the Andhra Pradesh High Court for the CZMA to file a police complaint to initiate action against the company owned by the Reddys. The issue had first gained public attention when Jana Sena corporator Peetala Murthy Yadav filed a Public Interest Litigation in the High Court over alleged encroachments. Last September, the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) had undertaken the demolition of alleged illegal constructions at the site, after serving formal notices to Neha Reddy. This initial demolition was also carried out under the direction of the High Court, which had sought a detailed report from the GVMC. The High Court, in March this year, took a serious view of the situation after the petitioner contended that the wall had only been partially demolished. A special government pleader informed the court that while most illegal constructions were removed, an old building and some toilets remained. A division bench comprising Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Cheemalapati Ravi then ordered the formation of a committee to assess the environmental damage and asked them to report to the court. The committee comprised the AP Coastal Zone Management Authority member secretary, the GVMC commissioner, and the Visakhapatnam Collector. The High Court further directed that the cost of the demolition and the environmental damage should be recovered from the company. The legal proceedings unfold months after Vijayasai Reddy's departure from the YSR Congress Party. He had also resigned as a Rajya Sabha member in January, stating that he would not join any other political party.

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has clarified his future in cinema following his appointment as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in June 2024. Amid ongoing criticism over juggling his administrative responsibilities with film commitments, the Jana Sena Party chief has now addressed concerns and revealed where his priorities lie. In an interview with ABN, Kalyan said that although he attempted to complete his pending films before the elections, unforeseen political developments delayed the process. 'When I signed these three films, I had planned to complete them before the elections. However, I lost crucial time before the elections due to some political incidents," he explained. 'I asked the producers of all three films to forgive me because I needed a few more days to complete the films. Even after I came into power, I took time to shoot for films and only did it for two hours a day." Kalyan is currently wrapping up work on three major films: Hari Hara Veera Mallu, They Call Him OG, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh. He confirmed that he has not taken on any new acting projects. 'I have completed shooting for OG and have around five days left to complete Ustaad Bhagat Singh. I will definitely not act anymore if I have political clashes because my priority is the administration and the Janasena Party," he stated. While distancing himself from acting, Kalyan hinted at continuing in the film industry in a different role. 'I need cinema for my financial sustenance. So, I will look to producing films in the future. Even if I do act, it will only be for two hours per day. But right now, I haven't signed any more films." Among his upcoming releases, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, in production for over five years, will hit theatres on July 24, with paid premieres on July 23. Directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna, the historical action drama stars Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal alongside Kalyan.
