Company remediates airstrip to maximize capacity
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESS Newswire / June 24, 2025 / Star Copper Corp. (CSE:STCU)(OTC PINK:STCUF)(FWB:SOP) ('Star Copper' or the 'Company'), a critical mineral exploration and development company, is pleased to report on its drill campaign and related activities at its 100% owned 6,829-hectare (~16,875 acre) flagship Star Project in the 'Golden Triangle' of British Columbia.
Drillhole B (S-051) is targeting supergene copper and gold mineralization of the Star Fault and aims to build off historical drilling to further test the western extent of mineralization beneath the Star Fault at depth.
Drilling progressed beyond 375m of depth, at which time the Company elected to swap drill rod diameters from HQ (2 ½" diameter) to NQ (1 ⅞" diameter) to improve drilling efficiency and allow for deeper drilling. NQ rods are smaller and lighter than HQ rods, enabling for increased drill depth capacity without exceeding the rig's weight limitations. Additionally, the smaller diameter can increase drilling speed and potentially minimize torque.
Drilling has also intersected potassic mineralization over long intervals. Sample assay result will consequently be of great interest and the company is excited by the potential impact these showings represent.
Company CEO, Darryl Jones reports, 'We are extremely happy with the progress and resulting core mineralization. We anticipate completing this hole at the target depth of approximately 600 meters where a previous drill hole known as 'S-040" was terminated with 120m @ 0.36% Cu, 0.13 g/t Au1 . To date, core samples visually demonstrate that the supergene zone remains intact at depth (see Figures 1 & 2). We are extremely pleased that the core samples are both extensive and high quality. The samples are being expeditiously shipped for prompt analysis. We look forward to announcing assay results as soon as they become available.'
Star Copper aims to shortly move forward with Drillhole C (S-052) and plans to step out approximately 50 metres north of hole B (S-051) to test the extent of the supergene copper enrichment zone and evaluate the continuity of the mineralized domain to approximately 275 metres in depth. Of particular interest is the plan to intersect the 142 metres grading 0.43% Cu in hole S-037 1 . Deeper intercepts aim to test for structurally controlled gold enrichment, where prior results returned 12 metres at 2.33 g/t Au at approximately 650 metres at the bottom of hole S-037 1 .

Campaign Strategy
The fully funded 2025 campaign is focused on expanding the existing discovery at the multiple targets within the Star Project. The Company has targeted the Star Main, Star North, and Star East prospects. Drilling is targeting (i) the near-surface oxide zones, (ii) deep porphyry-style mineralization, and (iii) structures associated with the 'Star Fault' and 'Dick Creek Fault' with up to 4,000 meters amongst six primary drill holes (Holes A-F). The Star Main discovery contains an extensive, near-surface, supergene zone, and the current campaign (see May 27, 2025 news release ) was designed to test both the lateral and vertical continuity of mineralized zones previously identified from over $10 million in prior drilling and exploration programs.
Airfield & Camp Remediation
As the pace of air support activity has increased to meet the demand for fuel and equipment deliveries along with the anticipated increase in outbound sample shipments, the field crew undertook a proactive 'good stewardship of the forests' approach regarding clean-up and removal of legacy infrastructure and waste from the regional airstrip and Star Camp.
The Company mobilized a remediation team including a disposal dumpster provided by the Iskut Band Council transported to the Golden Bear Road access. Removal of legacy equipment and material included various redundant vehicles, as well as empty fuel barrels (transported to Whitehorse for proper disposal), old hoses, broken appliances, and batteries, all from historic projects and previous operators. The work was undertaken to expedite airfield operations, address legacy environmental liabilities and reduce on-site hazards and waste accumulation in compliance with reclamation objectives. (See Fig. 3).

Nevada Organic Phosphate Clears Final Hurdles, Poised to Begin Drilling at Flagship Murdock Property

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - June 24, 2025) - Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP) ("NOP" or the "Company), a B.C.-based company focused on the exploration of organic, sedimentary rock phosphate in Nevada, is pleased to announce a major milestone in its flagship Murdock Property. Key regulatory steps have been completed: the Reclamation Bond for the Nevagro Lease has been paid in full, and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has issued a signed Decision Record approving NOP's exploration drill program under the NEPA Environmental Assessment. Nevagro, a wholly owned subsidiary of NOP, now awaits the pending final signed Exploration Permit to commence ground operations. The BLM Nevada State Office confirmed receipt of the $118,315 USD Reclamation Bond, satisfying the requirements of 43 CFR 3500 for Prospecting Permit NVNV1061697277. The formal Decision Record was issued on May 28, 2025. Drilling Program to Begin With permits in place, NOP is preparing to launch an initial 12-hole core drilling program—targeting depths between 100 and 250 meters across Area A of the Nevagro Lease. Access improvements, including grading of the 6.6 km existing trail, will facilitate logistical ease and efficiency throughout the drill campaign. Drilling contracts are currently being finalized. "We are thrilled to move into this critical exploration phase," said Robin Dow, CEO of Nevada Organic Phosphate. "This marks a significant step toward unlocking the vast potential of the Murdock Property. Our aim is to play a central role in supplying organic phosphate to a growing North American market hungry for sustainable agricultural inputs." Highlights: Offering Oversubscribed: With another funding tranche closed last Friday, to bring in a total of $320,000, the Company is now working on tranche 3, which it expects to close over the next few weeks. Regulatory Green Light: BLM Reclamation Bond accepted and Decision Record issued May 28, 2025. Promising Geology: Recent surveys confirm mineralization over newly identified targets. The main phosphate-bearing zone has grown from 6.6 km to 33.4 km in strike length. Exploration Potential: The initial 1,813-acre Nevagro permit area is projected to contain an Exploration Target Mineralization Inventory (ETMI) of 10-46 million tonnes of rock phosphate, grading 3-15% P₂O₅ (This estimate is based on an average thickness of 3.5 meters and a specific gravity of 2.61). Expansion Underway: Three additional Lease Applications covering 6,011 acres could increase the total ETMI potential to between 200-220 million tonnes. These estimates are conceptual in nature and have not been verified by NOP according to current 43-101 standards of disclosure. Further exploration is required to define a mineral resource. It's important to note that these figures are based on previous workers' estimates and geological models, and further exploration will be necessary to confirm these potential resources. The technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Garry K Smith, a Qualified Person as defined in "National Instrument 43-101, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects." Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. NOP is a junior exploration company with an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed, 8.25 kilometers long, in northeast Nevada. This is believed to be the only known organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. It is situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California. Miata Metals Begins Drilling at Puma Target Following High Grade Surface Results on Sela Creek Gold Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 24, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Miata Metals Corp. (CSE: MMET) (FSE: 8NQ) (OTCQB:MMETF) ('Miata' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce that it has begun its planned drill test of the Puma Target. This follows the successful completion of the latest five holes drilled at the Golden Hand Target, for which assays are pending (see Miata news release dated June 19, 2025). Featuring a high-quality data set that showcases evidence of a potentially rich gold system, the Puma Target in the southeast part of Sela Creek is one of the Company's highest-priority targets. Puma encompasses a total of approximately 2.7 km of strike length and a width of 400m, as indicated by soil sampling and Miata's predictive vein model. The Puma Target is characterized by intense hydrothermal alteration and repeating vein sets, and has never been drilled. Miata anticipates drilling a minimum of 2,000m on Puma, with the remainder of the 10,000m program to be allocated based on results and ongoing interpretation. Puma and Golden Hand represent just two of multiple targets the Company has identified at the 215 km2 Sela Creek gold project to date. Host to shallow artisanal mining for generations, less than 10% of the artisanal mining area of Sela Creek has been drill-tested at depth, leaving ample room for further discovery. Highlights Drilling has commenced on the Puma Target, one of Miata's highest priority zones, where historical channel samples returned 3.12 g/t Au over 8m and 4.07 g/t Au over 5m, and recent grab samples returned 194.2 g/t Au and 39.16 g/t Au*. Recent mapping has identified new mineralized structures, confirming Puma's potential and refining drill targets. Miata's first hole at Puma intersected a significant oxide zone, beginning at surface and descending to a depth of 60 metres, and is indicative of a high proportion of sulphides in the system. A newly opened artisanal adit revealed banded sulphide-bearing veins near a tonalite intrusion, the first such association at Sela Creek and a key target for drilling (Figure 1). 'We are excited to have started drilling at Puma, a high-priority target from our initial modeling and now confirmed by all the mapping and sampling in the area to date,' stated Dr. Jacob Verbaas, CEO of Miata. 'We believe Puma's 2.7 kilometre strike length and high-grade surface sampling are testament to the target's discovery potential. With the first hole underway and multiple drill pads already prepared, we intend to unlock Puma's value by the drill bit over the coming weeks. With assays pending from Golden Hand and a robust exploration pipeline, Miata is entering a catalyst-rich period for its shareholders' Puma Target The Puma Target spans approximately 2.7 km in strike length and 400m in width, as indicated by soil data and artisanal mining activity. Company geologists have continued to collect valuable surface data and samples in the lead up to drilling. A recent artisanal mine working, depicted in Figure 1 below, was assessed by Company geologists and hosts banded mineralization on the edge of a tonalite intrusion and within a fold hinge. This is the first clear association between mineralized veining and intrusive rock recognized on the concession and represents a high-priority drill target. Figure 1. Adit recently excavated by artisanal miners at Sela Creek, showing banded sulphide-bearing veins (right) and a tonalite intrusion (hanging wall, left). The Puma Target is the closest to the Central Guyana Shear Zone of all the Company targets identified to date. The Central Guyana Shear Zone is one of the few structures that controls gold mineralization across the Guyana Shield. Figure 2. Drill Plan at Puma Target. Figure 3. Drilled areas in red and target areas in white, overlain on orthophotos flown in 2024 on the 215 km2 Sela Creek gold project. Planned drill collars are shown in black, drilled collars in red. Exploration Update Five drill holes are currently pending assays from drilling at Golden Hand, including two drill holes that may have intersected key mineralizing structures. Exploration drilling at Golden Hand has significantly refined the geological model, increasing confidence in the broader potential of the Sela Creek concession. These insights and related structural interpretation are directly informing targeting at Puma. The Company is further preparing to launch a stream sediment and soil sampling program to extend the Puma trend.
