Trinity Rodman has joined American tennis star Ben Shelton's family in his player box for the last several matches during The Championships, Wimbledon. The soccer star has worn streamlined pieces and designer looks during her time at the Grand Slam tennis tournament, including pieces by Acne Studios and Alexander Wang.
Prior to attending Wednesday's quarter-final match, Rodman was on-hand in Shelton's player box to watch as he defeated Lorenzo Sonego of Italy in the gentlemen's singles fourth round match on Monday. She wore shades of vibrant blue in a silk look. The soccer star styled a sleeveless crop top, which coordinated with her high-waisted skirt.

Rodman pulled her hair back into a tight bun and accessorized with delicate pieces of jewelry, including earrings, bracelets and rings.
On Saturday, Rodman put her spin on tailoring and edgy suited styles with a gray blazer dress by Alexander Wang with sharp lapels and a cinched waist. The look included buttons running down the front placket. Rodman accessorized with rings.
Another look worn by Rodman was a cropped long-sleeve polo courtesy of Acne Studios. The shirt featured varsity-inspired details with a seasonal logo and stripes with a fade-out finish.
Rodman's streamlined attire was wholly evocative of the style of dress worn by several spectators during the Grand Slam tennis tournament. Famous attendees have styled business-attire and more formal, summer-inspired pieces during the tournament since it began on June 30.
Recently, Sienna Miller attended Wimbledon wearing a floral minidress courtesy of Alessandra Rich. Morgan Riddle, a social media influencer and partner of American tennis star Taylor Fritz, also styled a looked by Alessandra Rich, wearing white and navy polka dot coords.
Like Shelton, Rodman is an accomplished athlete in her own right. The soccer star currently plays in the forward position for the Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League and the U.S. national team. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Rodman scored three goals. The U.S. went on to win gold in the Olympic competition.

Consortium 'ready' to buy ailing Morecambe

London-based sports investment company Panjab Warriors have released a statement to say they are "ready, willing and able" to buy Morecambe. The Shrimps were suspended by the National League until 20 August on Monday over failing to comply with the league's rules. Panjab Warriors have been in talks with the club's owner Jason Whittingham for over a year and a deal had looked set to be concluded earlier this summer. They have now said in a joint-statement with minority shareholders, the Shrimps Trust and Lizzi Collinge MP that the National League is ready to sanction the deal and "immediately lift the suspension and embargo should it be agreed". BBC investigates takeover turmoil behind Morecambe suspension Morecambe suspended from the National League Morecambe owner 'not heard from' potential bidder As it stands, Morecambe's fixture away to Boston United on 9 August, their first home game against Brackley Town on 16 August, and the trip to Scunthorpe United on 19 August, will no longer take place as scheduled. Whittingham, who has been looking to sell the club since 2022, announced a new buyer, named as a consortium led by Jonny Cato, had been found earlier in July, but it remains unclear where that bid also stands. Whittingham said on Sunday he had "not heard from" Panjab Warriors in the past week and talks with Cato were ongoing. The Lancashire side, who were promoted to League One in 2021, were relegated from League Two last season - their second relegation in the past three seasons.

'I never once thought I needed to get out'

Jack Butland insists he never considered seeking an escape route this summer and Rangers remains the club "where I want to be". The former England goalkeeper lost his Ibrox starting spot to Liam Kelly during the final months of last term under interim boss Barry Ferguson. But Butland, 32, was give the gloves by new head coach Russell Martin for the season-opening first-leg win over Panathinaikos in Champions League qualifying last week and is determined to build on that impressive performance. "Has it been smooth sailing, my time at the club? Not for me personally, for all of us, no, it's not been quite as successful as we'd like it to have been," Butland told Sky Sports. "I never lost that, I didn't walk away from the season thinking, although some people like to try and make those stories up, that that's the end of it. "I was very determined that I will determine how my career goes here. "Obviously things can be taken out of your hands at times, but I was very adamant in the summer that regardless of what happens, what managerial changes, ownership changes, that I was going to come in and be the best version of myself and at least give myself the opportunity to have control of what happens next. "I hope I've managed to do that. I certainly feel fit and sharp and positive and looking forward to the season ahead at a club where I want to be. "I never once looked away from it and thought I need a change or I need to get out. "I need to keep my head up, stick my chest out and get on with it. That's the plan."

Sydney Sweeney Is Facing A Backlash Over Her New American Eagle Campaign. Here's What People Are Saying

Sydney Sweeney's new collaboration with the fashion brand American Eagle has become the centre of a whole lot of debate. The Euphoria star unveiled a new campaign with the American clothing brand last week, to promote their line of denim last week. However, it didn't take long before social media clips to promote the deal sparked a wave of discomfort among many critics, largely due to some of the language that's used in the campaign. This is the story so far… What is Sydney Sweeney's new ad campaign for American Eagle all about? For American Eagle's autumn 2025 campaign, Sydney Sweeney can be seen sporting items from the brand's denim range, including a new pair of jeans inspired by her. The campaign also makes use of the slogan 'Sydney Sweeney has great jeans', a pun on the term 'great genes'. In another, she explains: 'Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair colour, personality and even eye colour.' 'My jeans are blue,' she then quips, at which point a narrator delivers the line: 'Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.' Why are some people upset about Sydney Sweeney's new ads for American Eagle? Unfortunately this repeated use of the slogan 'great jeans', a pun on 'great genes', has put some viewers in mind of the language used by white supremacists and eugenicists. By centring a blonde, white star in a campaign referencing 'genes', some critics are accusing the brand of tone-deafness at best – particularly in the current political climate – and deliberately pushing a white supremacist agenda at worst. HuffPost UK has contacted representatives for both Sydney Sweeney and American Eagle for comment. Others are pointing out that Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle campaign doesn't mention one other important aspect of the product American Eagle's new 'Sydney Jean' features a butterfly detail on its back pocket, in a nod to domestic violence awareness, a cause which the White Lotus star has championed throughout her career. In fact, an American Eagle press release confirmed that '100% of the purchase price from 'The Sydney Jean' will be donated to Crisis Text Line', a charity in the US which aims to help those affected by domestic violence. However, the ads are also being criticised for not highlighting this key part of the campaign, with some saying its accompanying slogan is even more jarring as a result. Has Sydney Sweeney or American Eagle said anything about the controversy?
