The £2,000 contribution from St Enoch Centre, which was made up of customer donations, internal fundraising initiatives, and an additional donation from the centre itself, will be used to cover the cost of flights, accommodation, and kit for the Scottish players.
This will ensure the players are ready for the tournament.
(Image: Supplied) Shaun Rhodes, head of marketing at St Enoch Centre, said: "It has been a privilege working with Street Soccer Scotland and getting to know the team as they prepare for the Homeless World Cup.
"Homelessness is a very real issue here in Glasgow, and Street Soccer Scotland's efforts to support those most disadvantaged have a life-changing impact.
"We are now pleased to offer our support ahead of the team's trip to Oslo as they set out to represent Scotland on a global stage.
"We wish them all the best and will be cheering for the team right here in the Centre – Go team Scotland."
David Duke MBE, founder and CEO of Street Soccer Scotland, said: "All players of the Homeless World Cup have experienced homelessness or social isolation at some point in their lives.
"Representing Scotland at the tournament is a major achievement and a testament to how far they have come in terms of improved wellbeing, health, self-esteem and confidence.
"The donation from St Enoch Centre will make a huge difference to our team."
"As all our programmes are completely free, we rely heavily on fundraising to cover essentials like travel, accommodation and kit.
"This generous contribution eases fundraising pressures, allowing us to focus on what truly matters – supporting our players and helping them get match-ready.
"Let's hope Team Scotland come home with a trophy this year."

The win came at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen and, shortly after collecting his trophy, he was being congratulated by the owner and 47th president of the USA over FaceTime. "I watched it... he's some player. I look forward to playing with him - in fact I will play with him tomorrow if he could get on a plane right now," Trump said in the call, shared on X by the DP World Tour. He continued: "I'm playing right now, I'm on a golf course, a beautiful one in Washington D.C. Trump International. "I have very good players, but they're not like you Grant!. "What a round of golf. What three rounds of brilliant golf. "That course is big and strong and tough, your swing is great. "It's a great honour you won, thank you very much." The Livingston-born star replied 'thank you for having us'. Forrest, who lifted his maiden DP World Tour title at St Andrews four years and two days ago, took control of windy conditions over the weekend but saw his three-shot overnight advantage trimmed to two after Todd Clements' birdie on the opening hole. The world number 294, who double-bogeyed the last, added two more birdies and a dropped shot in a closing 72 to finish with an eight-under-par total. "It's amazing, just speechless," Forrest said. "I think it is the same week as I won four years ago on the calendar so just amazing, that must say something about this week and being at home. "I just can't believe it. It's been such a tough year on the golf course. It's just a crazy game that you can go and come out and do this, with what feels out of nowhere. "It's just that old chestnut that one week can turn things around and it has." Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Hearts win again - is Bloom's vision taking shape?

"We've got a very good chance of at least being second this season."A collective eyebrow was raised across Scottish football when Heart of Midlothian shareholder Tony Bloom made that remark last sneered, some called him delusional, a few brushed the comments aside, and plenty filed them firmly in the 'Aye, right' drawer of the filing after six wins from six, 21 goals scored, only three conceded, and a decided buzz around Gorgie, is it time to dream for Hearts fans?Or is some caution required? Why are Hearts fans excited? After experienced manager Derek McInnes was given the head coach job, captain Lawrence Shankland signed a new deal, Bloom's investment was confirmed, and a suite of interesting signings followed, Hearts fans quickly banished the glum of last season's seventh-place breezed through the League Cup group stage, scoring four against Dunfermline, Dumbarton, Stirling Albion and Hamilton while conceding just that was impressive, it was hardly unexpected, but then beating Scottish Cup holders Aberdeen in their opening Premiership game added to the late comeback win against Dundee United continued a perfect start, which makes Bloom's comments about splitting the Old Firm an intriguing talking point, even so early in the season."Tony Bloom doesn't make statements as a throwaway comment," former Rangers and Kilmarnock goalkeeper Cammy Bell said on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound programme."He thoroughly believes that's where he wants to take the club and where he's going to take the club. Hearts are already very well supported, and hopefully all this positivity goes forward."Adding to the belief is the impact of the new additions that have featured so striker Claudio Braga has already graduated from new signing to fan-favourite, and he is on track to be the blueprint for Bloom's revolution."You would hope Hearts would bring players in like Claudio Braga, sell them on and start building a pot of money," former Hearts defender Allan Preston approach would chime with what to expect under Bloom. Recruit wisely, sell when the stock is at its highest. Full-back James Penrice's move to AEK Athens this summer is arguably the first Jamestown Analytics-style departure. Why should you not 'bet against' Bloom? The 55-year-old's track record is one of success, continued progression, and transforming the fortunes of the clubs he is involved impact at Premier League side Bright and Hove Albion, the club he owns, has been as well documented as it is the implementation of his Jamestown Analytics software, the club have become a top-flight force able to compete with some of the league's biggest sides, and have had a taste of continental competition."I'm not going to say Hearts will win the league within 10 years, but if someone like Bloom does, you wouldn't bet against him," Preston said."It's very difficult, but there's no doubt Hearts will be a better club."Belgium, though, is perhaps where Tynecastle punters can take the most encouragement Saint-Gilloise are the current champions of the Belgian Pro League, winning the title last season for the first time in 90 analytical software is used by Sebastien Pocognoli's side and has taken them from a middling side in their domestic league to a dominant force. That's the plan for Hearts within the next decade, says Bloom. Why should Hearts fans remain cautious? Under Jim Jeffries in the 1997-98 season, the Scottish Cup returned to the Tynecastle trophy were nearly celebrating a double though, as they finished seven points off eventual champions it not been for a stuttering end to the league campaign, Jefferies' side could have broken the Old Firm title duopoly for the first time since Aberdeen in there was the George Burley side made a storming, unbeaten start to the 2005-06 season and sat top after eight successive wins, meaning many tipped them to win the title before Burley's abrupt sacking by Vladimir Romanov. The Lithuanian also promised the Hearts fans a league title and Champions League again, let's remember we're only two games into a 38-game league season. Aberdeen were nearly perfect until November last year and dropped off massively in the league, so nothing will be taken for granted at with Bloom's acumen, McInnes' experience, and a raucous Tynecastle behind them, maybe Hearts can become a new force in Scottish football this year.

Ryan Lumsden earns first tour top-20 at Nexo Championship

Like a fisherman lamenting those prize catches that got away, Lumsden rued a good one that slipped from his clutches. In this game, we're never done mulling over the what-ifs and the if-onlys. Despite his closing three-over 75, Anglo Scot Lumsden was reasonably chipper after an impressive week which ended with a share of 19th on a two-over aggregate. This was only the 28-year-old's ninth outing in a main DP World Tour event, and it was by far his best result. He certainly enjoyed the experience. Well, most of it. 'I had fun for 71 holes,' he said with a wry smile as he reflected on that calamity on the 14th. 'It was just such a privilege to be able to play on the main tour in Scotland on a course this good in Scottish conditions. You really can't ask for anything more. 'I put myself in position. I didn't play my best today but I am proud of how I have fought. Obviously it is a little gutting to have one bad shot followed up probably by a bad decision as that cost me three shots. 'There is a big difference in the outcome if I could have managed that a little bit better. But, in terms of the experience and the opportunity, I felt like I belonged here. I felt like I had a chance to finish well. 'But to not have my stuff and still finish where I did, I am very pleased and just enjoyed being here.' So, where did it all go wrong? We'll let Lumsden guide us through the tourist route he took to the 15th. 'I hit a really poor tee shot,' explained Lumsden, who earned around £20,150 for his efforts. 'I did not commit to my feel and just kind of swiped one left. I actually got very fortunate in a way as I got a good lie in the rough and thought I could get it to the front right of the green. 'The club just caught this little branch behind the ball and shut the face down. It popped out probably 15 yards short of the green in the thick rough, but the guys never heard it and I lost a ball. "It is what it is. Golf is a brutal, tough game. It could have been better, but those 71 other holes were pretty solid.' After his dalliance with the DP World Tour over the last few days it's back to the auld claes and porridge for Lumsden as he returns to the HotelPlanner Tour. Lumsden, runner-up in the 2017 Scottish Amateur Championship at Prestwick, was heading straight to Finland to continue his promotion push from the second-tier circuit. After a week of dining on the fine fare at the top table, he is keen to taste some more next season. 'The goal now is to really refocus and go and get a couple of wins on the board and take care of the card,' added Lumsden, who needs to finish in the top-20 of the HotelPlanner Tour's rankings to earn a step-up. 'I felt like I managed the game pretty well this week. I felt the game was good enough to compete out here. I did see that I need to work on my driving a little as I struggled with it over the past month or two and this is a driving heavy golf course. 'I know I wasn't quite dialled in enough with the driving, so that's something I am going to work on with my coach. But the rest of the game was there and it's good enough to hopefully win out here one day. 'This (the DP World Tour) is where I want to be and I think I am good enough to be out here. Getting a taste of it has really made me hungrier for more.' Lumsden's fellow Scot, Marc Warren, finished with a flourish to secure his first top-20 on the main circuit for a couple of seasons. The 44-year-old, with four tour wins on his cv, birdied five of his opening seven holes on his way to a closing 67 which propelled him 30 places up the leaderboard and into a tie for 19th. Perth's Daniel Young signed off with a 76 for four-over while David Law and Martin Laird both finished on six-over.
