Not content with just being one half of the Rose of Tralee presenting duo alongside Dáithí Ó'Sé, Kathryn Thomas can now add hero and animal rescuer to her CV after she, on Friday, rescued a severely injured cat from the middle of the road and got her help. Thomas, who will be back on our TV screens on Monday and Tuesday night for the official Rose selection nights, posted about the rescue on her Instagram story on Friday. 'Picked up this poor angel on the motorway roundabout with cars literally driving over her. She couldn't move and it looked like her back legs were broken,' she said in her social media post. Kathryn Thomas has revealed that she rescued a Rose, of a feline kind, on the road when driving to Tralee. The TV presenter posted on social media that she had come across an injured kitten (now named Rose) on a main road that people were driving over.
