Oreo unveils new and limited-edition flavor: Chocolate Covered Pretzel
Oreo has yet another new cookie flavor up its sleeve.
The iconic sandwich cookie brand announced a new and limited-edition Oreo cookie flavor inspired by chocolate covered pretzels, another sweet and savory snack, slated to hit shelves next month.
With the release of the chocolate covered pretzel-flavored cookies, Oreo is catering to the 81% of consumers who "pay attention to the sensory experience" of their snacks, citing a 2024 snack report by Oreo's owner Mondelez International.
Chocolate Covered Pretzel Oreos, the brand's "first-ever sweet and savory cookie," will make its debut at retail locations nationwide starting May 5, all while supplies last.
"A playful take on the sweet and salty treat, Oreo Chocolate Covered Pretzel flavored cookies feature chocolate flavor creme, sandwiched between pretzel-flavored cookies that are topped with salt, making this the first-ever sweet and savory cookie from the OREO brand," Oreo said in an April 23 news release.
Other recent additions to Oreo's flavor lineup
Oreo is no stranger to innovation, launching new flavor combinations every couple of months.
The brand's most recent flavor announcement, which included Double Chocolate Cakesters and the return Golden Birthday Cake Oreo, occurred about a month after Oreo's collaboration with rapper turned country singer Post Malone in January.
Double Chocolate Cakesters, a chocolatier version of the original Oreo Cakesters, became a permanent addition to the Oreo portfolio. Golden Birthday Cake Oreo, meanwhile, returned for a limited-time run on March 3.
Other recent additions to Oreo's lineup include Oreo Loaded cookies, Oreo Irish Creme Thins, Oreo Minis Peanut Butter, Oreo Bites and Oreo Mini Bars.
Oreo Loaded cookies, Game Day cookies and Golden Cakester Soft Snack Cakes, three Oreo products also released at the start of the year, may still be found and purchased wherever Oreo cookies are sold.

Post Malone's Country Era Continues — But Fans Haven't Forgotten His Musical Roots
Post Malone's Hollywood's Bleeding reappears on three Billboard charts, even as his country era, ... More powered by the F-1 Trillion album, continues. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - FEBRUARY 08: Post Malone is interviewed during the Super Bowl LVIII Pregame & Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show press conference at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on February 08, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by) Post Malone has spent the past year promoting his first country album, F-1 Trillion. The set was a daring move by the musician, who had previously found great commercial success with both hip-hop and pop — and to a lesser extent, rock and alternative music – and it paid off brilliantly. F-1 Trillion not only brought him back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, but it also produced multiple smash singles and earned him new Grammy nominations. As he continues to travel across the United States on his stadium tour in support of the country effort, one of his earlier career projects – which doesn't sound much like his current album – is enjoying a surprising resurgence. Hollywood's Bleeding, Malone's third full-length, breaks back onto multiple Billboard charts this week. The set didn't appear on any ranking in America just a few days ago, and now it lives on a trio of tallies. At the moment, Hollywood's Bleeding sits at No. 10 on the Top Rap Albums chart. The project can also be found at No. 16 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums list and No. 67 on the Billboard 200. In the past, Hollywood's Bleeding has led the charge on all three of these rankings. It long ago passed 200 weeks on each and every one of them, though it hasn't been seen in a little while. Malone released Hollywood's Bleeding in September 2019, at the height of his fame. By that point, he had already been pushing singles from the project for nine months, starting with "Wow" in December 2018. The project produced follow-up smashes like "Take What You Want" with Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott, and "Circles," which remains his longest-running success on the Hot 100 to this day. There's been some excitement around Hollywood's Bleeding recently, as Malone includes the title track in his stadium tour setlist. Fans on social media seem to be thrilled about his decision to perform the album cut, as it was never chosen as a proper single, even though it peaked at No. 15 on the Hot 100. The diverse range of sonic styles that Malone has tried his hand at throughout the years is on full display on the Billboard charts this week. Four of his albums are currently present across various rankings, and he appears inside the top 10 on both the Top Rap Albums and Top Country Albums tallies, where F-1 Trillion holds at No. 5, 42 weeks into its tenure on that list.

Kids Who Said Creepy And Cruel Things TikTok
We've all heard the old saying, 'Kids can be mean,' and well, it's not a lie. Kids, of course, have NO filter and oftentimes don't even realize the impact of the questionable things they sometimes say. But that doesn't mean it doesn't come across as creepy, cringey, and occasionally even cruel... That's why when TikTok user @5twoblondie asked, "What's the craziest thing a kid has said to you when you were their nanny/babysitter?" nannies, babysitters, and other childcare professionals flooded the comments with the downright WEIRD things children have said to them, and working with kids is not for the weak. Here are 23 of their WILDEST stories: "A kid I was watching put her baby doll in a fake, play microwave and said, with a big smile on her face, 'I'm gonna BURN my baby to death!'" "When I let her mom know, she told the little girl, 'No more late-night TV for you!"—elizabethjasa1 "The kid I was looking after said, 'Our digital assistant doesn't listen to you because you have brown skin,' followed by, 'It doesn't listen to you because you're not in our family.'" "The kid I babysat once told me she wanted to build a playground out of the arms and legs of the construction workers outside." "I was babysitting a three-year-old who only wanted to eat sugary foods (of course), but I told him I would only give him more strawberries after he finished his protein and explained that's how second helpings work. The words 'Go f*ck yourself' came out of his little mouth, in front of his parents." —ally_shives "The kid looked at me and insisted: 'I could arrest you!'" "The kid looked at me and said, 'Daddy likes other mommies.' Yes, the parents are divorced now." "I was babysitting a little girl, and one night, her parents were late getting home. She asked, 'What if they don't come back?' I reassured her and said, 'That's not going to happen, I'm sure they're stuck in traffic.'" "She responded with, 'Well, your dad didn't come back.' He died when I was six."—laurenkstephens "The girl I was babysitting asked me if I had gone to college, and I told her, 'No, but people don't have to.'" "He pointed at the fireplace and told me to go in there and burn because I didn't let him have another Oreo before he had eaten his dinner." "I've been babysitting for 15 years, and I have tons of stories, but the worst was probably when I was babysitting and found out my childhood dog had died." "I started crying, and the kid looked me dead in the face and said, 'Stop crying, it's not that serious.'"—briannamellesmoen "The girl I was taking care of looked at me and said, 'You see those woods in my backyard? I walk around in them in the middle of the night without my parents knowing.' She was five." "The kid said that since I had a nose piercing, I was inviting the devil into my life." "I was babysitting a sassy four-year-old boy and we were having one of our mini 'roast' sessions when I said something along the lines of 'You're just mad because you have to take a nap.'" "He came back with: 'You're just mad because you're not cute without BOTOX.'"—nanassourdough "'When daddy dies, we can get a new one.' Dad was perfectly fine; they were just rich." "I'm not a nanny, but I am a camp counselor. One day, a camper told me, 'You smell different when you sleep versus when you're awake.'" "I babysat a four-year-old girl who kept hitting, biting, and punching me. When I eventually put her in time-out, she told me, 'I'm gonna beat your ass.' I blocked her parents." — "She was talking about her imaginary friend and said, 'Her wants to go home with you, she asked me if she could.'" "Back when I worked at a daycare, a kid called me an a-hole as his dad was walking into the building to pick him up. His dad yelled at him, and the kid said to me: 'I'm sorry, but I need to sleep here with you tonight.'" "The family I was sitting for had a backyard that quite literally dropped off, so one day when we were back there, their little boy asked, 'What would happen if I pushed you off of there?'" "I said, 'I would probably be seriously hurt or die, so let's think about something else.'He responded, 'Let's try it.'"—meganamed "I used to have really bad acne on my face, and the kid I was watching made direct eye contact with me and said, 'No one will love you if you have acne.'" "So, to preface this, I'm adopted. One time, a girl I was babysitting was mad that I took her iPad away, so she told me that I didn't deserve to be in any of MY family's photos because my mom didn't give birth to me." —kodimandeville Did any of these unhinged kids surprise you? Grammys Change Country Category After Beyoncé Album Win
Back in February, Beyoncé made Grammys history when she became the first Black woman to win the Best Country Album award with Cowboy Carter. Beyoncé admitted she was 'in shock' after beating the other nominees: Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson. In her acceptance speech, the star reflected on her genre switch as she thanked "all the incredible country artists that accepted this album," and added: "I think sometimes genre is a cold word to keep us in our place as artists and I just want to encourage people to do what they're passionate about and stay persistent." The win was especially notable as Beyoncé had been completely snubbed by the Country Music Awards, despite Cowboy Carter undoubtedly being one of the most successful country albums of the year. For reference, nominations are decided by the Country Music Association, which is made up of a range of industry professionals. And this wasn't Beyoncé's first sour experience when it comes to the CMAs. In 2016, the star was subjected to anti-Black backlash following her performance of 'Daddy Lessons' alongside The Chicks at the even appeared to allude to this moment when she announced Cowboy Carter on Instagram last year, writing: 'This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn't. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive." In short, Beyoncé's venture into the country genre certainly wasn't welcomed by everybody, and it seems as though her Grammy win may have rubbed some people up the wrong way, as some pretty interesting changes have just been announced ahead of 2026's show. On Thursday, it was revealed that the Grammys are splitting the country genre into two categories: Best Traditional Country Album, and Best Contemporary Country Album. This is the only change to the music categories being made for the upcoming 68th annual Grammy Awards. Per Billboard, new categories are added to the Grammys from proposals made to the Recording Academy's Awards & Nominations Committee, with each proposal being voted on by the Academy's board of the change, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. told the publication: 'The community of people that are making country music in all different subgenres came to us with a proposal and said we would like to have more variety in how our music is honored. They said: 'We think we need more space for our music to be celebrated and honored.''He also claimed that this particular proposal had been submitted multiple times in the past, but was only approved by the board this definition for the Traditional Country category reads: 'This category recognizes excellence in albums of traditional country music, both vocal and instrumental. Traditional country includes country recordings that adhere to the more traditional sound structures of the country genre, including rhythm and singing style, lyrical content, as well as traditional country instrumentation such as acoustic guitar, steel guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, piano, electric guitar, and live drums. It also includes sub-genres such as Western, Western Swing, and Outlaw country.''People from that community are making more music, it's more varied, there's different styles of writing and performing,' Mason added. 'I'm hopeful that that community understands that the academy is doing what it always does, which is stay in tune with what's happening in their genre.' However, the timing of this change felt a little loaded to some music lovers, with it not lost on them that it was being implemented immediately after a Black woman won this category for the first time. 'Best Traditional Country Album. How subtle.' one viral tweet reacting to the news simply reads. Somebody else wrote: 'Best Traditional Country Album... they couldn't wait a couple more years so it wasn't so obvious what they're responding too?''They really don't want black people winning country awards so they found a loophole to separate white country artists from black country artists,' another claimed. ''Traditional' lol. No one said shiiii when country went pop for a few years but Beyoncé dominates and all of a sudden we need a separate award to make certain people feel better,' one more added.'A black woman won best country album, NOW we need two categories? Interesting,' somebody else observed. While another tweeted: 'Rules always change when black people start breaking in. It really is disgusting and annoying to go through." In fact, this tweet summed up the discourse pretty well: What do you make of the category shake-up? Let me know in the comments below!
