The power of crowdfunding is alive and well, and the eufyMake E1 UV Printer is here to prove it. Hailing from Anker's 3D printing arm – formerly AnkerMake and now eufyMake – it scales a studio operation down to compact size, with the advanced tech and modular design to match. Demand is apparently sky high, to the tune of AUD$51 million and counting on Kickstarter (with weeks to go). Not bad for an initial funding goal of $760k!
If you're the creative type who likes to print 3-D textured colours, patterns, and images onto a variety of surfaces, the eufyMake E1 is definitely for you. Unlike similar products, which take up huge amounts of space, this one is compact enough to fit on your desktop. It allows you to print up to 5mm of texture on both flat and curved surfaces, and works on over 300 materials, including metal, wood, acrylic, and more.

Not a seasoned expert in this particular domain? Not a problem! Thanks to an AI algorithm and user-friendly software platform, the eufyMake E1 allows you to pick up the basics in no time and even create your own custom designs. You should be able to go from novice to expert in a few seconds and then get to work on your next project, be it stickers, patches, engravings, mugs, coasters…well, you get the point.
Colour accuracy and lastability are essential to UV printing, and the eufyMake E1 promises both. Early users say the printer delivers insane colour precision and texture depth, the kind that you simply won't find on other products of this size. The term 'game-changer' is being thrown around, and we'll leave it to the experts to determine whether that term applies. What we do know is that pledges have gone through the roof, so take from that what you will.

As with so many modern innovations, the eufyMake E1 squeezes massive performance specs into a much smaller package. It breaks open the rail guards to bring you studio-level performance at a fraction of the standard size, printing over a million true-to-life colours in stunning 3-D texture. Features include a built-in snapshot camera, dual lasers, and a self-cleaning system. Combine all that with AI technology and a modular design, and we're starting to see what the fuss is about.
There are over two weeks left in the Kickstarter campaign, and early bird specials are still available. Choose between a handful of bundles and save about 32% in the process. May you never grow bored again.

Yashica Launching Affordable Answer to Fujifilm in FX-D Camera
By Jacob Osborn - News Published: 13 June 2025 |Last Updated: 10 June 2025 Share Copy Link Readtime: 3 min Every product is carefully selected by our editors and experts. The name Yashica may ring a bell as the Japanese camera and equipment brand that ceased production back in 2005, but after a Hong Kong-based company purchased the trademark rights a few years later and brought the business back from the brink. The 2017 launch of the Y35 DigiFilm camera combined digital technology and an analog-style design, and peopel clearly liked it, as the camera raised over $1.2 million on Kickstarter and paved the way for future models. And now you're more or less up to speed as we introduce Yashica's latest endeavour: the new FX-D camera series. Currently raising funds on Kickstarter – where it's soared well past its initial goal – the FX-D series continues a trend set forth not just by the rebooted Yashica but also brands like Fujifilm. While digital at heart, each camera in the range generates authentic film simulation photography and video. Users can alternate between various modes with ease as they replicate an assortment of analog aesthetics. A digital shooting mode is likewise available, thereby bringing owners the best of all worlds. Yashica FX-D Camera | Image: Yashica Want to capture images in black and white? There's a mode for that. Or maybe you want to shoot video in the granular style of 1970s cinema? There's a mode for that as well. There are six unique film simulation modes overall, allowing you to explore and create as you develop a personal style. Meanwhile, the camera's physical design language takes cues from pre-existing Yashica models like the FX-3, but with plenty of modern touch-ups. The FX-D series runs the gamut of modern specs across its relatively small range. At the most affordable end of the spectrum is the FX-D 100, which includes a 13MP sensor and goes out to everyday creators. A notch above that is the FX-D 300, a 50MP high-resolution camera that offers more functionality and flexibility. And if only the best model will suffice, there's the FX-D S300. It takes the professional-grade features of the FX-D 300 and throws in an OLED Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) to heed customer demand. Ultimately, you might think of Yashica's FX-D camera series as a tactile way to render analog-style effects without dealing with the headaches of traditional analog photography (film processing, etc). Call it your smartphone filters on steroids if you will, but some people still crave a more tactile experience. Will you get a relatively similar – if not far superior – experience with a quality Fujifilm camera? Perhaps, but the price point will be much higher. Here you get (arguably) comparable performance for a fraction of the price, especially when you take advantage of those early bird specials.

Old Fitzgerald Keeps It Classy With New ‘7-Year Bottled in Bond' Bourbon
By Jacob Osborn - News Published: 12 June 2025 |Last Updated: 11 June 2025 Share Copy Link Readtime: 3 min Every product is carefully selected by our editors and experts. If you buy from a link, we may earn a commission. Learn more. For more information on how we test products, click here. Old Fitzgerald bourbon is a history lesson unto itself, and one can sense as much just by scoping the timeless bottle design. The label stayed the course through Prohibition and eventually took their operation to the famous Stitzel-Weller Distillery, which shuttered in 1992. Production migrated over to Bernheim Distillery and then again to the current owner, Heaven Hill. Limited supply and skyrocketing price points have kept the majority of these expressions out of reach, but that all changes with a new signature statement. Introducing Old Fitzgerald's 7-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond Straight Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. Over the last decade, Heaven Hill have been keeping Old Fitz alive with a certain degree of temperance (pun intended). However, don't take that to mean the core distillate isn't readily accessible to whiskey lovers. In addition to the affordable Old Fitzgerald Prime, we have the Larceny bourbon range, which likewise uses the same core mashbill of 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley. At the higher end of the spectrum is the acclaimed Decanter Series, a limited edition release that tends to sell out quickly and fetch meteoric prices on the secondhand market. With 7-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond, an exciting new chapter unfolds in the long and storied history of Old Fitz. Offered at a suggested retail price of US$59.99 (though prices have already increased due to limited supply), the wheated bourbon walks the line between bottom-shelf Prime and the tippy-top-shelf Decanter Series. The liquid delivers a bright copper colour and a welcoming nose of graham cracker and honey. Tasting notes include fresh bread, brown sugar, cinnamon, apricot, and baking spice, which give way to oak at the finish. It's bottled at 100 proof and that's just enough to dial up the flavour without burning your throat on the way down. The use of wheat means one can expect a relatively smooth ride, in general. Old Fitzgerald's 7-Year-Old Bottled-In-Bond | Image: Supplied The launch of 7-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond doubles as a soft reboot for Old Fitz, complete with their first dedicated website. Between that and various social media campaigns, it's clear that Heaven Hill is committed to preserving the legacy of this historic label. Driving home the heritage vibe is an iconic bottle design that holds the past closely to its heart. 'Seven years proved to be a sweet spot for a Whiskey that already transcends expectations for a wheated Bourbon,' said Master Distiller Conor O'Driscoll of the latest release. While more readily available than the Decanter Series, the new expression appears to be selling out fast. If you can find a bottle for around US$80 or less, don't hesitate to pull the trigger.
