While promoting his next film, '
Bhool Chuk Maaf
', the actor made an unexpected and heartfelt confession about a dream he's held close.
In a chat with Hindustan Times, Rajkummar opened up on what he would have done if he hadn't become an actor. While most fans expect their favourite stars to have a backup plan, his answer was honest and clear, 'Since I was little, this is the only thing I've wanted to do (acting), and I've worked hard only towards this.
I've never thought of a Plan B. Yeah… there was never a Plan B, to be honest. Plan A was there, and Plan B was to make Plan A work.'
This kind of passion is what has made Rajkummar such a force in Indian cinema. But what he said next came as a surprise.
A secret dream
Although he never had a backup plan, Rajkummar did reveal what he might have done if acting hadn't worked out, 'I think I would be in the
armed forces
only. It is, yeah, I get very fascinated seeing soldiers.'

Following the tragic Pahalgam
on April 22 that claimed the lives of 26 innocent people, India responded with force through 'Operation Sindoor', striking terror camps across the border.
Addressing this subject, Rajkummar said, 'Whatever decision that our administration is taking, we are with them in it, because what has happened, should not have happened. It made us all very, very angry, very sad. So absolutely we are in it together as a nation and we are extremely proud of our armed forces.'

Co-star
Wamiqa
was equally moved. She joined him in expressing her love and support for the country and its armed forces, 'That's exactly how all three of us (Rajkummar, Wamiqa, and Karan) are feeling, and I think the whole nation is feeling. And yeah, we are with them, I mean hum hi toh hain. Toh bilkul. Jaise bhi hai, jo bhi, we are with the nation. For sure.'
A love story with a twist of time
While emotions run high in real life, the two stars are ready to bring some laughter and love to the big screen.
Their film 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' is a romantic comedy with a unique twist – a time loop. Set in the colourful city of Varanasi, the film follows Ranjan (played by Rajkummar) who is eager to marry his love, Titli (played by Wamiqa). But things take a strange turn when he finds himself stuck living the same day – the day before their wedding – over and over again.
'Bhool Chuk Maaf', directed by Karan Sharma and is all set to hit cinemas on 9 May 2025.

Amol Parashar REACTS to dating rumours with Konkona Sensharma; recalls Vicky Kaushal's similar phase with Katrina Kaif before marriage

Amol Parashar has finally addressed the dating rumors linking him to Konkona Sensharma, clarifying that despite public perception, no one directly inquired about their relationship. Drawing a parallel to Vicky Kaushal's discreet courtship with Katrina Kaif, Amol emphasized his right to share personal news on his own terms, particularly via social media. Amol Parashar is finally breaking his silence on those long-running dating rumours with Konkona Sensharma. From red carpet moments to warm public hugs, the whispers have only grown louder. Now, in a candid chat, the Gram Chikitsalay actor not only sets the record straight but also draws a fun parallel to Vicky Kaushal 's hush-hush phase with Katrina Kaif — and yes, there's an 'Instagram official' twist too! In a recent chat with Hindustan Times, Amol addressed the ongoing buzz about his rumored relationship with Konkona Sensharma. He revealed that while many people assumed they were dating, no one actually approached him to ask about it directly. He also clarified that the rumours don't bother him and he has moved on from the chatter. He added that if there's ever anything to share about his personal life, he'll be the one to post it on social media himself. Amol, who stars in Gram Chikitsalay, shared his views on relationships, saying that every bond is different and doesn't necessarily need a label. What matters most to him, he said, is mutual happiness—and that both partners, along with their families, feel content and at peace with the relationship. Parashar also recalled a moment from the Sardar Udham shoot when Vicky Kaushal was facing dating rumours with Katrina Kaif. Amol shared that people would ask him about it, and he once told Vicky, 'Bhai, bata do sabko because people are asking me,' to which Vicky calmly replied that he would share it when the time was right. He finds it amusing that his personal life often makes more headlines than his work. He joked that despite all the acting he does, it's always the dating rumours that steal the limelight. The actor also spoke candidly about his views on marriage. He revealed that while his mother initially pressured him about settling down, she has become more relaxed over time. Amol added that he likes to keep life unpredictable—and his family has come to accept and understand that about him. Teh actor quipped that if and when he gets married, it will definitely be 'Instagram official,' as that's what seems to hold weight these days. For now, though, he confirmed there's nothing new to announce on that front.

Housefull 5 box office collection day 4: Akshay Kumar's madcap comedy charms its way to the ₹100 crore club

Housefull 5 box office collection day 4: Tarun Mansukhani's ensemble film Housefull 5, starring Akshay Kumar, Nargis Fakhri, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh and Soundarya Sharma, has been doing good business at the box office. As per the latest update on the film has now entered the ₹100 crore club. (Also read: Paresh Rawal to return in Hera Pheri 3? Actor's positive tweet gives new twist to controversy) The report points out that Housefull 5 collected ₹13.1 crore as per early estimates on its fourth day of release. The drop in collections on Monday was expected since it is a weekday, but the film remained steady even then. On Sunday, Housefull 5 registered its highest single-day collection so far at ₹32.5 crore. The total collection now stands at ₹101 crore. On Monday, Housefull 5 had an overall 17.62% Hindi Occupancy. The film has now surpassed the India nett collections of Akshay's previous film, Kesari Chapter 2. It had made ₹ 92.53 crore. Will Housefull 5 beat the haul of Sky Force at ₹149 crore? The next few days are crucial for the film to arrive at that answer. Housefull 5 tells the story of three men called Jolly being suspects for the murder of a rich industrialist on a cruise ship. The film has two different endings with two different killers. 'The first half is spent establishing the conflict and delivering the franchise's usual fare: mistaken identities, someone's girlfriend being someone's wife, and the expected private-part jokes and innuendos. Nothing is spared in the effort to make you laugh, but most punchlines land only in instalments,' read an excerpt from the Hindustan Times review of the film. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the comedy stars an ensemble cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Ranjeet, Johny Lever, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chunky Panday, Dino Morea, Sonam Bajwa, and Soundarya Sharma.
