Our favorite mechanical keyboard is nearly $100 below MSRP right now

Digital Trends24-07-2025
Just about everyone into desktop computing goes crazy about the world of mechanical keyboards. But which one should you get? Our team put together a list of the best mechanical keyboards late last year. And right now you can get the top entry, the Logitech G915 TKL, at an incredible price. The classic MSRP is $230, but now you can get the keyboard for $132, a discount of $98. Alternatively, you can also get the white version for $140. Both are available to you, now, by pressing the button below but feel free to read on to see why this keyboard fit at the top, some key insights given by our extended review of the keyboard, and all the basic info on this top-rated mechanical keyboard.
Why you should buy the Logitech G915 TKL
The Logitech G915 TKL is a tenkeyless board with a slim profile, low latency Bluetooth connection, and a 40 hour battery life for extended gaming and writing without being tethered by a cord. Its able to stay strong despite its thin profile due to a frame made of 'aircraft-grade aluminum alloy.' Interacting with your media is easy, too, as there's a scrolling wheel bar for precision volume controls on the fly alongside easy-to-reach media controls like start/stop and next. Plus, Logitech's Lightsync can make the keyboard's on-board RGB lights sync up to your content. This, combined with the excellent typing experience afforded by Logitech's GL switches makes this an 'awesome all-round model' — which is exactly why it made the top of our mechanical keyboard list, even though it is gamery in nature.
Next, be sure to take a look at our Logitech G915 TKL review. It's a review with lots of heart in it, as our reviewer kept using the keyboard for months and months, after really liking it, saying that its Lightspeed connection made it impossible to tell the difference between wired and wireless modes, even with twitch games that require extreme to-the-second input readouts. Additionally, the Ghub software for the keyboard is logical and legitimately useful.
The Logitech G915 TKL is now down to $132 for its black version, with a discount of $98 off of its usual $230 price point. You can also find the white version for $140 if you tap the button below. Get this great deal while you can.

Baltimore County Police get community input for drone response program

The Baltimore County Police Department is gathering community feedback for its proposed Drone as a First Responder program, which will assist officers during emergency responses. Maj. Wes Fischer, with the Baltimore County Police, says the program would be funded by money the county receives from speeding cameras. If the department moves forward with the project, a policy needs to be drafted citing what calls the drone would respond to, and then a pilot program would be started. "Slowly start with a certain area and respond to a limited number of calls to make sure the technology works," Maj. Fischer said. Having a drone as a first responder, agencies like police departments can deploy them from a farther distance, which allows the technology to be first on the scene of an emergency, according to law enforcement officers. The vantage point also gives officers a better idea of the area they are responding to. "There have been cases where drones have responded to the scene first, and a person was reported to have a weapon, but they were able to say, 'No, we're able to see it. It's not a weapon," Maj. Fischer said. "You can then de-escalate. You can control your response a little differently." The police department shared the advantages of drone use with residents in Dundalk Wednesday night at a community meeting, hoping to get their feedback and support. "It can picture people," Baltimore County resident Olivia Lomax said. "You get the right person. You're not picking up somebody who just happened to walk by. I think it's essential." But some residents have doubts about the drone program. "It's a good tool for the police officers," said Baltimore County resident Paul Stifflar. "As far as keeping crime down and all the police calls coming in, they're still going to come in." Baltimore County Police will have the drones back out on display on Thursday in Randallstown and then on Monday in Towson. The Anne Arundel County Police Department recently launched its patrol drone program, focused on enhancing emergency response. The program expands the department's existing drone operations, previously limited to crash investigations, to include real-time support for 911 calls and police-generated incidents. According to the department, the drones provide aerial perspectives to help officers deploy resources more strategically. "When they get to the scene, they can deploy a drone, obtain real-time information, and they can direct officers to where the actual problem is," said Marc Limansky, a spokesperson for the Anne Arundel County Police Department. The patrol drones will assist in searches for missing persons, crowd and traffic management during special events, and live video transmission to the department's Real-Time Information Center. Baltimore City unveiled its draft drone policy in July 2023 to allow the use of drones in scenarios such as documenting crime scenes, SWAT situations, active shooter events, and hostage rescues. In April 2024, the Harford County Sheriff's Office used drones to apprehend suspects in two home invasions. In November, Harford deputies captured two Baltimore City teens accused of breaking into more than 20 vehicles. Also in 2024, Howard County police used a drone to locate a minor who crashed a stolen car and left the scene. Drones also assisted in the arrest of David Linthicum in 2023 after he shot two Baltimore County Police officers and fled to Fallston.

Axon Enterprise (AXON) Vs Palantir Technologies (PLTR): Which is the Better Investment?

Strong Q2 results have led to a further uproar in Axon Enterprise AXON and Palantir Technologies PLTR shares this week, remaining two of the hottest momentum stocks. Axon's stock has now spiked over +40% year to date, with Palantir shares surging more than +130%. More astonishing, AXON is up over +640% in the last three years with PLTR skyrocketing more than 1,700%. Considering their millionaire-maker-like gains, investors are surely wondering which of these hot stocks is the better investment at the moment. Image Source: Zacks Investment Research Axon Thrives on Increased Public Safety Spending Thanks to increased global defense and public safety spending, Axon easily surpassed its Q2 expectations while posting stellar top and bottom line growth. The innovative manufacturer of weapons for the U.S. and international governments posted Q2 sales of $668.54 million, which soared nearly 33% year over year and comfortably topped estimates of $642.98 billion by 4%. Furthermore, this marked the 14th consecutive quarter of revenue growth above 25%, with CEO Rick Smith stating Axon is seeing broad demand across the company's portfolio, including for its AI services, drones, cameras, and virtual reality solutions. More impressive, Axon's Q2 earnings came in at $2.12 per share, crushing expectations of $1.54 by 37% and soaring 76% from $1.20 in the prior period. Axon has now exceeded the Zacks EPS Consensus for a remarkable 33 consecutive quarters, with a very impressive average earnings surprise of 25.87% in its last four quarterly reports. Image Source: Zacks Investment Research Palantir's First Billion-Dollar Quarter Also thriving from increased defense spending, including the securement of a $10 billion contract with the U.S. Army, Palantir achieved its first-ever billion-dollar quarter, topping estimates of $938.33 million. This was a 48% spike from Q2 sales of $678.13 million a year ago, as the software provider saw strong demand for its artificial intelligence platform (AIP) outside of the intelligence communities. Pinpointing increased commercial demand for AIP, Palantir CEO Alex Karp stated that companies are using Palantir's tools not just to optimize operations, but to reshape entire business models. Palantir is also taking advantage of its expansive sales growth, with Q2 EPS of $0.16 rising from $0.09 a share in the comparative quarter and edging expectations of $0.14. Notably, Palantir has now reached of exceeded the Zacks EPS Consensus for 11 consecutive quarters with an average earnings surprise of 13.17% over the last four quarters. Image Source: Zacks Investment Research Axon & Palantir Raise Their Full-Year Guidance Adding fuel to investor sentiment is that Axon and Palantir have raised their full-year revenue guidance. Optimistically, Axon now forecasts fiscal 2025 revenue at $2.65-$2.73 billion, up from $2.6-$2.7 billion. It's also noteworthy that Axon expects full-year adjusted EBITDA of $665-$685 million, raised from $650-$675 million. Pivoting to Palantir, the company raised its FY25 revenue forecast to $4.142 billion-$4.15 billion, up from previous guidance of $3.89 billion-$3.9 billion. The bump is specifically attributed to full-year commercial revenue guidance increasing to over $1 billion, reflecting at least 85% growth. Additionally, Palantir raised its adjusted income from operations guidance to between $1.912 billion-1.92 billion and increased its adjusted free cash flow guidance to $1.8 billion-$2 billion. Monitoring Axon & Palantir's Valuation While Axon is well ahead in terms of moving further past the probability line than Palantir, the price-to-sales ratio may still be a better indicator of judging the value these hot stocks offer to investors at their current levels, rather than price-to-earnings. That said, Axon is also growing into its lofty valuation more swiftly regarding the P/S ratio after a rebranding to reflect its broader mission in public safety technology. To that point, Axon trades at 25X forward sales, which is far more reasonable than Palantir's 104X. Image Source: Zacks Investment Research Conclusion & Final Thoughts Although Palantir's ability to benefit from the AI boom makes it the better momentum stock at the moment, Axon appears to be the overall better investment when considering its more justifiable valuation. Axon's profitability also makes it a more sound investment, and earnings estimate revisions (EPS) have remained higher, correlating with AXON sporting a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy). On the other hand, Palantir stock lands a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), and investors may certainly be looking for better entry points given PLTR doesn't offer much fundamental value after such a monstrous year-to-date rally. Tesla hit with stunning sales news as Cybertruck is beaten out by competitors: 'We dug our own grave'

The hits seemingly just keep coming for Tesla and its Cybertruck, after new sales figures show just how poorly it's performed lately in the United States. What's happening? According to TechCrunch, Tesla's sales numbers for the Cybertruck plummeted in the second quarter of 2025 and were not only beaten by the Ford F-150 Lightning for the second consecutive quarter but were also beaten by GMC's Hummer EV, a vehicle that has been on the market since 2023 but isn't often seen on the road. The Cybertruck sold just 4,306 units from April 1 through June 30 of this year, while the Hummer EV sold 4,508 units in the same span. Switch Auto Insurance and Save Today! The Insurance Savings You Expect Affordable Auto Insurance, Customized for You Great Rates and Award-Winning Service The Hummer EV sold just 3,244 units in 2023 and 13,994 in 2024, so surpassing 4,500 in a quarter is a sure sign of growth and may indicate the vehicle is winning over customers who were considering a Cybertruck, considering how the two market to similar potential customers looking to make a big statement. For Tesla, it's also possible to look at over 4,000 units as a positive for an expensive niche vehicle, as GMC likely would for its Hummer. But considering reports of a large overstock of Cybertrucks causing Tesla to be in need of places to store the ones it has yet to sell, with original goals of producing 125,000 per year, the numbers don't look so good after all. Those numbers are part of a growing trend for Tesla and the Cybertruck either way; the controversial EV has been in a tailspin since its peak in the third quarter of 2024, when it sold nearly 17,000 units. Why are the Cybertruck's sales numbers important? When the Cybertruck debuted in late 2023, it was the first new model Tesla had released in three years, the brainchild of CEO Elon Musk. Musk spent much of 2023 raving about the car, claiming that they had 1 million presales and the capability to produce 125,000 of them per year, with plans to scale that to 250,000 in the future. "We dug our own grave with Cybertruck," Musk told investors before it was released in reference to how much work the company had cut out for itself to make it, calling it the type of special product with lots of bells and whistles that only comes along once in a while. As TechCrunch alluded to in its article, Musk may have been more right than he realized. Tesla's sales numbers have been dropping across the globe, even as EV sales numbers continue to climb. Competitors have caught up to many of the design features of the current generation of Tesla vehicles, with many coming in at lower price points, making the market much more competitive. What's being done about the Cybertruck's sales? Unfortunately for the EV giants, there doesn't seem to be much to do at this point. Demand is decreasing for a car that wasn't overly popular at the start and doesn't show signs of gaining any traction in the market. However, it is clear demand for EVs in general remain strong as consumers seek out cleaner modes of transportation that are better for the planet and their wallets. Musk has bet big on AI incorporation into his vehicles, hoping it will jump-start the company's self-driving features and pave the way back into surging sales numbers. Do you think Tesla can bounce back from its recent struggles? Yes It depends on Elon's actions I don't think it's struggling Nope Click your choice to see results and speak your mind.
