War 2 Box Office Collection Day 1 LIVE: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's film off to great start, crosses ₹10 crore
According to early estimates of industry tracker Sacnilk, War 2 has minted ₹ 13.91 crore so far.

War 2 had an overall 16.37% occupancy among the Hindi audience on Thursday during the morning show.

War 2 was released in five languages-- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film has been released in IMAX, D-Box, ICE, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, and other formats.
War 2 is clashing with Rajinikanth's Coolie at the box office. Both films were released on Thursday.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is the sequel to the YRF blockbuster War, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles.
Hrithik reprises his role of Kabir in War 2. It also features the clash between Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, officially marking Jr NTR's Bollywood debut.
War 2 also stars Kiara Advani.
Meanwhile, several videos and pictures of fans celebrating War 2 release emerged earlier today as many reached theatres to catch the early shows. Some fans were spotted bursting firecrackers, while others danced and even performed puja rituals.
A fan also left the internet shocked when he was seen cutting his thumb and applying a blood tilak on Jr NTR on a poster.
War 2 is written by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala, from an original story by Aditya Chopra, who is producing the film under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
It is the sixth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe. Besides Hrithik and Jr NTR, the film also features Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor.

In a recent interview, Barot stressed that while Rahman is undoubtedly blessed, his success is primarily the result of tireless effort. War 2 Day 1 early box office: Hrithik-Jr NTR may have spy universe's lowest opener
'War 2', headlined by Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, seems to have performed below trade expectations. The Ayan Mukerji directorial collected around Rs 30 crore nett in Hindi on its opening day, and garnered the same amount or slightly more from its Telugu reported by the trade website Sacnilk, YRF's sixth film in the spy universe has grossed over Rs 60 crore (approx) domestically. In Hindi, though, the collection seems to be even lower than 'Ek Tha Tiger', which is the lowest opener in the spy Salman Khan-starrer collected around Rs 33 crore nett in 2012 - way before YRF converted the spy films into a universe. The report suggested that the trade industry was expecting 'War 2' to open at least close to 'Tiger 3', which collected around Rs 43 crore nett with its Hindi version. The film, however, has got a big Independence Day weekend window to perform smoothly at the ticket window.
