People Are Sharing The Movies Where An Actor Looks The Most Beautiful They've Ever Looked, And Yup, They're STUN-NING
It's no secret that Hollywood favors traditionally good-looking actors, so any movie or TV show you watch is likely to have several of the most gorgeous people you've ever seen. But, every once in a while — maybe due to costuming or cinematography — an actor will absolutely dazzle in a role.
If you need proof, here you go: Recently, redditor u/Alixinho asked, "What is the best an actor has ever looked on screen?" and included a photo of Carrie-Anne Moss in The Matrix (agree!). The comments were packed with very valid answers, but of course, there's no accounting for taste, so I want to see if you agree with them.

'Fallout' joins Universal Halloween Horror Nights 2025 details: See HHN prices and dates
'Fallout' joins Universal Halloween Horror Nights 2025 details: See HHN prices and dates Show Caption Hide Caption Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights tips for scaredy cats You don't have to like haunted houses to have fun at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights 2025 is shaping up to be one for the gamers. Just days after revealing that "Five Nights at Freddy's" is coming to this year's after-hours event on both coasts, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort announced, 'For the first time ever, horror fans will step into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Prime Video's 'Fallout,'." Like "Five Nights at Freddy's," and 2023's The Last of Us house, "Fallout" began as a popular video game franchise. Thursday's house announcement comes on the same day as HHN tickets going on sale for both Orlando and Hollywood. Here's everything we know so far about this year's Halloween Horror Nights. Universal's first 'Fallout' house This new house, like its namesake show and Bethesda Game Studios video game franchise before it, is set centuries after a devastating nuclear war ravages the landscape, mutates creatures and forces humans to live in underground vaults. 'The journey begins beneath the surface in Vault 33, where guests follow vault-dweller Lucy MacLean as she escapes a bloody massacre, only to discover an evil hidden secret,' according to Universal. 'From there, visitors venture to the surface, where they must dodge attacks from Scavengers and Raiders, desperate survivors who will do anything to remain alive, as well as mutated cockroaches known as RAD Roaches.' As fans travel through a three-dimensional Wasteland, 'Fallout,' they will meet familiar settings like Super Duper Mart, 'The Ghoul, an ageless bounty hunter who has endured radiation exposure for centuries,' and a squire named Maximus equipped with T-60 armor. 'Five Nights at Freddies' surprises It's not yet clear what Universal has planned for 'Five Nights at Freddies," only sharing that it's "coming in a whole new way' with 'more details coming soon.' First a video game and book series, then a 2023 Blumhouse and Universal Pictures film with a sequel due to premiere this December, "Five Nights at Freddy's" follows animatronics from an abandoned children's pizza restaurant that come to life and kill. Universal has featured several Blumhouse films in Halloween Horror Nights experiences in recent years. Start date of Halloween Horror Nights This year's Halloween Horror Nights will start a day earlier than last year, on both coasts. Orlando's event will be held on 48 nights: Aug. 29-31 Sept. 3-7, 10-14, 16, 17, 19-21, 24-28 Oct. 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26, 29-31 Nov. 1, 2 Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights will begin Sept. 4: Sept. 4-7, 11-14, 18-21, 25-28 Oct. 2-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26, 29-31 Nov. 1, 2 How much does it cost to go to Halloween Horror Nights? In a break from recent years, neither event is raising its starting ticket price this year. Single-night HHN tickets start at $82.99 for Orlando and $77 for Hollywood, the same as last year. Multi-night passes are also available. Halloween Horror Nights is a separately ticketed event that is not included with standard park admission. What does Halloween Horror Nights consist of? Halloween Horror Nights is best known for its immersive themed houses and open-air scare zones. Each year, a few themes span both coasts, though they may be executed differently. Last year's shared themes were A Quiet Place, Insidious: The Further, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines. Remaining house and scare-zone themes are location-specific. Orlando usually has more houses – 10 this year – and leans into more original content, while Hollywood tends to embrace more intellectual property. Hollywood is also the only place guests can experience the Terror Tram, an HHN-specific twist on the World-Famous Studio Tour. Both events offer live entertainment, themed food, and access to select park attractions with generally shorter wait times than during the day How scary is Universal Halloween Horror Nights? Scary is subjective. Some guests aren't phased at all. Others can barely stand to open their eyes. Most guests are somewhere in between, enjoying a good scare in a safe space. Don't you dare look scared: How to survive Universal's Halloween Horror Nights Can the actors touch you at Halloween Horror Nights? They're not supposed to touch you. They may accidentally brush against you in a crowded scare zone, but they won't reach out and touch you on purpose. By the same token, guests should never touch scareactors, which is what Universal calls HHN actors. What can you not wear to Halloween Horror Nights? Guests are not allowed to wear costumes or costume masks at Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Studios Hollywood has its own costume policy but also bans costume masks. Does HHN have an age limit? No, but the event's webpage says it 'may be too intense for young children and is not recommended for children under the age of 13.'

Vasiliy Lomachenko announces retirement from boxing
Vasiliy Lomachenko has announced his retirement from boxing at the age of 37, walking away as a three-weight world champion and two-time Olympic gold medallist (2008 and 2012). His last fight came a year ago, in May 2024 when he stopped Australia's George Kambosos Jr in the 11th round, taking him to a professional record of 18-3 — Orlando Salido, Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney subjecting him to defeats. Advertisement In an Instagram video posted on Thursday afternoon, the Ukrainian said: 'I'm grateful for every victory and defeat inside the ring and outside the ring. I'm thankful that as my career comes to an end, I've gained clarity about the direction a person must take in order to achieve true victory, not just in the ring.' Lomachenko will be remembered as one of the sport's greatest fighters, amassing an incredible amateur record of 396-1 before entering the professional ranks and winning the WBO world featherweight title in just his third fight when he beat Gary Russell Jr. via majority decision in June 2014. Two years later, he added the WBO junior lightweight title with victory over Roman Martinez and in 2018, he stopped tough Venezuelan Jorge Linares to secure The Ring and WBA lightweight belts. Renowned for his exquisite footwork, which combined with his lightning-quick hands often left opponents facing shots from angles they did not know existed, Lomachenko was also notoriously hard to hit, earning him nicknames including The Matrix and Hi-Tech. Between November 2016 and December 2017, he went on a run of making four consecutive opponents — Nicholas Walters, Jason Sosa, Miguel Marriaga and Guillermo Rigondeaux — quit, either by their own volition or their corner throwing in the towel. And this in a sport where it feels like 'quitting' is sometimes treated with more disdain than doping. In his farewell Instagram post, Lomachenko thanked his parents, and particularly his father Anatoly, whose face he has tattooed across his torso. It was Anatoly, a boxing coach, who trained his young son in the art of pugilism from the age of four. At nine, 'Papachenko' decided his young son should swap his boxing boots for dancing shoes and for the next four years, Lomachenko perfected the art of traditional Ukrainian dancing. His exceptional balance and fast feet are often attributed to this period and while Lomachenko has agreed that dancing was part of that, he also attributes his skills to doing many other sports (gymnastics, basketball, football and tennis included), too. The pair developed training methods designed to forge Lomachenko's mental strength and sharpness, including training him to hold his breath for long periods underwater (his record is four minutes 20 seconds) and challenging him with complex mental arithmetic problems. Inside the ring, those mental and physical skills elevated him to a level far above many of his peers and one that few will ever be able to replicate in the same glorious, captivating manner as Lomachenko did throughout his career.

'Ballerina' fights were customized for Ana de Armas
LOS ANGELES, June 5 (UPI) -- Ana de Armas says her action scenes in Ballerina, in theaters Friday, were customized for her abilities. De Armas plays Eve, a trainee at the Ruska Roma ballet assassin school that first appeared in the John Wick films. In a recent Zoom interview with UPI, de Armas, 37, described training with the 87eleven action team. The 87eleven stunt coordinators designed Ballerina scenes based on her progress. "We had plenty of time to let me go through the process of first getting stronger, getting an idea of what combat and fighting was," de Armas said. "Just as I was getting better and better, [they'd] just start building the scenes around my strengths and best things I could do." De Armas said she is surprised she has become an action hero, starring in the James Bond film No Time to Die, The Grey Man, Ghosted and now Ballerina. "I never thought I was going to do action," she said. "I didn't think I was athletic enough or strong enough." The 87eleven team, whose founders doubled for Keanu Reeves in The Matrix and train the actor for John Wick, showed de Armas how to maximize her advantages. "I didn't know I was capable of doing it," she said. "Now I definitely love it and I enjoy it very much." John Wick (Reeves) himself gives Eve some advice when they cross paths. She looks up to the older assassin at the beginning of her career. Ballerina director Len Wiseman said focusing on a character choosing to become an assassin makes Eve's story unique to John's, which begins when he is already the legendary Baba Yaga. "What drives a person to become an assassin?" Wiseman, 52, asked. "How [expletive] up is your situation, your trauma and everything in your life to get to the point where that's what you are dedicating your time to?" Eve's story begins when she is a child. Her father rescued her from The Chancellor (Gabriel Byrne), the leader of a tribe shunned even by the High Table of assassins to which John belongs. Continental hotel manager Winston (Ian McShane) took Eve in and sent her to train at Ruska Roma. The curriculum includes as much fight and weapons training as it does pointe shoes. De Armas only got to film one ballet scene in Ballerina. "I did some ballet just for fun when I was little," she said. "I still remembered how it's done, so I did some of it." Eve seeks Winston's help again as an adult when she checks into the Continental, hoping to find The Chancellor and avenge her family. Reprising his role from the John Wick films, McShane, 82, said he enjoys Winston's mysterious connection to John and Eve. "They're my two favorite assassins if you like," McShane said. "All I know is that he's known both the Wick character and the Eva Macarro character since they were kids." Ballerina introduces additional characters standing between Eve and The Chancellor, including Lena (Catalina Sandino Moreno), an assassin The Chancellor sends to intercept Eve. Moreno, 44, also starred in 2023's Silent Night, from the producers of John Wick and Ballerina, and directed by John Woo. Between the two films, Moreno said she appreciated the work that goes into bringing such visceral action to life. "I appreciate good camera movement," Moreno said. "In this movie, there is a bunch of camera movements, the dancing that they did, that I really appreciate." Eve also pursues Daniel Pine (Norman Reedus), a man with a hefty bounty on his head, who has a mysterious connection to The Chancellor. Reedus, 56, said he filmed Ballerina while still in France for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. "I'm used to sort of a sloppy fighting style," Reedus said. "This is very choreographed. There's a lot of pieces, a lot of things going on around you at the same time that rely on you to be on time." Ballerina is not Wiseman's first time entering an established franchise. After creating the Underworld films, he directed 2007's Live Free or Die Hard. The director noted his sequel came 12 years after Die Hard with a Vengeance, so that franchise had been dormant before its revival. Wiseman was sensitive to the notion that John Wick is current. "There's always the audience member in the back of my decisions," Wiseman said. "What I would want to see that had a familiar feel, tone, world and then the expectation of what's new?" Having appeared in all five theatrical films, McShane said he did not feel any difference between the John Wicks and Ballerina. He noted that many of the producers and stuntpeople remained from John Wick. Both, McShane said, commit to showing audiences the kind of excitement they can't endure in real life, and a level of violence most real people would hope to avoid. "People say, 'Why do audiences go to the movies?'" McShane said. "Well, because they're something that they'll never experience in their own life. That's why I go to movies." The previous four films' worth of mythology for the High Table and Continental hotels helped new cast members too. Though The Chancellor and his tribe are new, Moreno said she built her new character off the back of the John Wick franchise. "I think John Wick did a great job in building a very solid ground for any actor to step in and just keep building from it," Moreno said. "But, John Wick did the whole groundwork." John himself advises Eve not to follow his path, to get out while she still can. For the movie's sake, Eve doesn't listen but de Armas understood her youthful swagger too. "I think like all young people do, I did at some point too in my life, we just don't listen to advice of the people that really know," de Armas said. "She's not afraid so she doesn't shy away from trouble." Ana de Armas, Keanu Reeves attend 'Ballerina' premiere
