Waltair Divisional Railway Manager inspects ongoing works at Duvvada railway station
The DRM reviewed the ongoing developmental activities at the station, the development of which is in progress under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He also inspected the circulating areas on both sides of the station, where several new initiatives are being proposed under the scheme. Stressing the importance of timely completion, Mr. Bohra urged all stakeholders to ensure that developmental works proceed as per schedule. During the inspection, Kanchumurthi Eswar, ZRUCC Member of ECoR, along with representatives from various NGOs, met with the DRM to discuss railway-related issues. The DRM assured them that their concerns would be examined and addressed appropriately.
Mr. Eswar, Duvvada Railway Users Association president Jashuva, and representative Kameswara Rao felicitated the DRM. They submitted a a memorandum requesting for augmentation of 2 A, 3A, and 3 E coaches to the Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Double Decker Express (22707/08) and provision of coach watering facility and deployment of coach maintenance staff at Duvvada.

Railways organises exhibition showcasing partition horrors
1 2 Patna: Danapur division of the East Central Railway (ECR) organised a special photo exhibition on the occasion of 'Partition Horrors Remembrance Day' at the Danapur station premises. Danapur divisional railway manager (DRM) Vinod Kumar inaugurated the exhibition on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the DRM recalled that while India attained Independence on August 15, 1947, after 200 years of colonial rule, it also endured the immense tragedy of the partition. "The night of August 14, 1947 marked the beginning of mass displacement, with millions rendered homeless and separated from their families. Homes, farmlands and livelihoods were lost and countless lives perished," he said. Railways takes out ‘Tiranga' rally
Patna: A team of railway officials, led by Danapur divisional railway manager (DRM) Vinod Kumar, organised a 'Tiranga' rally within the railway colonies in Khagaul on Tuesday morning. The event was held as part of the nationwide 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign aimed at encouraging citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes on Independence Day . Danapur senior divisional commercial manager Abhinav Siddarth said the rally commenced from the DRM's office premises with participants carrying the tricolour and marching in unison through the colony. "The railway officials, RPF, NCC and scouts joined the procession reflecting a collective spirit of national pride and unity," he said. Bhagalpur: Aimed at promoting patriotic values, the railways organised 'Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2025' at Bhagalpur railway station under Malda railway division of Eastern Railway (ER) on Tuesday.
