Prince Harry and Markle welcomed Princess Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor on June 4, 2021 — more than a year after the Sussexes quit royal life and relocated to Montecito, Calif.
According to Lilibet's birth announcement, she was named in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth's family nickname, and her middle name, Diana, 'was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, the Princess of Wales.'
Lilibet and her brother, Archie, 6, were given the titles of prince and princess after their grandfather King Charles' coronation in May 2023.

Lilibet had met the queen before Her Late Majesty's death, but reportedly didn't get a photo with her to commemorate the moment.
Harry and Markle's daughter was born at 11:40 a.m. local time and weighed 7 lbs 11oz. She is seventh in line to the throne.

While exact celebration plans for Lilibet's big day remain under wraps, the Sussexes will likely mark their daughter's birthday with an intimate gathering at their sprawling $14 million mansion — much like the intimate celebration they held for Archie's sixth birthday last month.
Lilibet's birthday comes just one day after Markle discussed her aspirations for her daughter's future in a bonus episode of her 'Confessions of a Female Founder' podcast.
The former actress spoke to Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, about her business mindset and hinted that she's considering 'building something' with Lilibet in the future.

'I wonder if one day I'll be in business with Lili and we'll be building something,' she told Knowles, 71, who spoke about founding hair care brand Cécred with her famous daughter. 'That's the best.'
While it's unclear exactly which business Markle hopes to join forces with her daughter, the former actress is likely referring to her lifestyle brand As Ever, which she launched in March.

Chris Pratt shows off drastic transformation for 'The Terminal List' season 2
Chris Pratt gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his dramatic transformation for "The Terminal List" season two, sharing a video from set on Friday. The actor appeared nearly unrecognizable with long hair, a full beard and a thick mustache, all part of a detailed prosthetic look for his character. "Isn't this hair and makeup incredible?" Pratt said in the video posted to Instagram. "My team does such an awesome job." Pratt, who plays Navy SEAL James Reece in the Amazon Prime Video series, explained the facial hair is fake, but realistic enough to cause issues during lunch breaks. "The crazy thing about wearing a fake mustache or a fake beard is when you eat, you get hair in your mouth," he said, joking about not knowing where the hair came from. "No. Anyways. I don't care. I'm hungry," he added before eating. Season two of "The Terminal List" is based on "True Believer," the second novel in Jack Carr's book series. The action drama follows a Navy SEAL navigating trauma and conspiracy after a mission goes wrong. Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch and Riley Keough return as part of the ensemble cast. Pratt's on-set update came days after he paid tribute to "Parks and Recreation" co-star Jonathan Joss, who was shot and killed on June 1. "Damn. RIP Jonathan. Always such a kind dude," Pratt wrote in a post shared to Instagram Stories.

Residents concerned over tower blocks redevelopment
Residents in four East Sussex tower blocks that are due to be demolished have voiced concerns over where they will be rehomed. Southern Housing plans to redevelop Four Courts in Stonehouse Drive, St Leonards, a 1960s social housing scheme comprising Bevin Court, Roosevelt Court, Kennedy Court and Churchill Court. Esther Eastwood, who moved in to her flat 27 years ago, described the situation as "very upsetting". A Southern Housing spokesperson said the provider remained "strongly committed" to supporting residents throughout the transition. Residents held a meeting on Saturday to discuss future plans. Ms Eastwood said she needed help each day from her daughter, who lives down the road. She said she was worried about where she would move to and "didn't understand it all". "It's devastating, I love my flat," she added. Southern Housing said nine households had already moved into permanent new homes, with residents of Bevin Court the first to be relocated. Each Bevin Court resident had a dedicated resettlement officer and every household received one-to-one visits, it added. Simon Lee is one of those who has been relocated and said he was happy with his new flat but said he had a friend who was "distraught". "I think they have massively underestimated the social impact this is having on people," he said. The redevelopment is estimated to take around 12 years, and is needed due to "the significant shortcomings of the existing blocks", according to the housing association. "Many homes lack proper accessibility, presenting real challenges for those with mobility needs," a spokesperson said. "We've carefully considered all options and believe this is a unique opportunity to create new, high-quality social homes that better serve the needs of current and future residents. "We encourage any resident with concerns or questions to get in touch with our team so we can continue to provide the support they need." Follow BBC Sussex on Facebook, on X, and on Instagram.
