S.C. Highway Patrol seeking person involved in hit and run
GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect involved in a hit and run collision.
The collision happened on Friday, May 9 at approximately 4:25 p.m. The vehicle of interest, a silver Subaru Crosstrek, pulled out of the Shell Gas Station at the intersection of SC 20 at Davis Road, according to highway patrol.
The Crosstrek struck a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle, and the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries. The suspect left the scene, traveling north on SC 20, highway patrol said.
The Crosstrek is suspected to be a 2014-2017 model, and may have damage to the front.
Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect or regarding the collision is asked to contact the South Carolina Highway Patrol at 864-241-1000.

1 dead in multi-vehicle crash on I-240 in Asheville
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – A man died over the weekend in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 240 in Asheville. The Asheville Police Department identified 41-year-old Zachariah Robert Cosgrove as the victim in the crash near Exit 1B on Saturday, June 7. Investigators said Cosgrove was driving a 2015 Jeep Wrangler in the westbound lanes. Around 2:52 p.m., it was reported that Cosgrove was changing lanes when he collided with a Pontiac Firebird. The crash caused the Jeep to roll over and subsequently collide with a 2018 Ford F-150 traveling in the same direction, according to officers. The F-150 also overturned as a result of the impact. Police said Cosgrove was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Officers said a passenger in the Jeep was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Police did not share the conditions of the other drivers involved in the crash at this time. Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run, SCHP searching for suspect vehicle
South Carolina Highway Patrol is looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist on Sunday night in York County. Troopers said they are looking for a vehicle of unknown make and model after a bicyclist was fatally struck on Highway 55 and Paraham Road in Clover. York County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 31-year-old Anthony Raheem Parker. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. READ: Pedestrian struck, killed in Gaston County SCHP said the vehicle was traveling west when it struck Parker, left him with fatal injuries, and then fled the scene. While investigators do not know what type of car struck Parker, they said it may have damage to the front or passenger side. The investigation is ongoing and troopers have asked that anyone with information regarding the crash contact them at (843)661-4705. No additional details have been made available. The Charleston County coroner identified the woman killed in a motor vehicle and pedestrian collision
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County coroner released the name of a woman who was killed in a pedestrian crash on I-26 and near Mile Marker 209. According to the Charleston County coroner, 25-year-old Savannah Gamble died on the scene from blunt force injuries from a motor vehicle and pedestrian collision. The accident happened on June 6. A 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling east on I-26 when the driver struck Gamble, who was attempting to cross the road. The driver was not injured.
