T.O.P. has put an end to the online speculations that have been spreading about his potential return to BIGBANG by adamantly denying any such plans.
Fans saw that T.O.P.'s name was still on the group's official YouTube account, which sparked conversations regarding his possible return to BIGBANG in online forums. Furthermore, the term "T.O.P Choi Seung Hyun" is still displayed on his Instagram profile, which has many people thinking that a reunion may be imminent.

A spokeswoman formally denied the rumors on February 11 and clarified that there had been no talks about him joining the group again. In response to worries that Choi Seung Hyun's social media activity might be implying a comeback, the agent said, "The name 'T.O.P' has been consistently listed in Choi Seung Hyun's profile from the beginning." They also brought up the artist's earlier interview about Squid Game 2, in which he admitted to feeling bad for his old bandmates but made no mention of a musical reunion.
The organization that still oversees BIGBANG's official YouTube account, YG Entertainment, also commented on the dispute. They attested that since the release of the group's final single, Still Life, in 2022, the aforementioned profile has not changed. The credits at the time of Still Life's release featured G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, and T.O.P., the four surviving members of BIGBANG. According to YG, the listing hasn't changed since then; therefore, The K-pop artist's name on the channel doesn't necessarily signify that the group is working on any projects right now.
