No way out for Sienna as Hollyoaks confirms horror showdown with killer dad Jez

Metro18 hours ago
Sienna Blake's (Anna Passey) life is on the line in Hollyoaks next week as Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) does everything in his power to keep his dastardly secrets from spilling out, with a devilish game of cat and mouse on the cards.
Jez, as audiences know, has murdered numerous characters since rocking up in the village last year (two years in-universe following the historic time-jump).
From Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith) to Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Wernham), as well as Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe) and Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti), there have been no shortage of victims.
Although she guiltily assisted in the cover-up of Dilly's demise, Sienna believed that her dad had turned over a new leaf and stopped committing crimes.
However, the scales well and truly fell from her eyes earlier this month when she discovered the amount of people that have fallen victim to the twisted killer, who has been claiming lives for decades.
With Robbie the latest in a long line of kills, Jez decided to come clean to his daughter, telling her that being a murderer is 'what he was born to do'.
Sienna, however, was utterly appalled by the depths of his depravity and thus set out to expose him, fearing that he might start targeting his loved ones given that Dilly and Dennis Savage (Joe Tracini) weren't safe from his grasp.

Jez tracked her down before she could tell anyone what he did, with a brutal fall ensuing at the city walls. Jez recovered in hospital and tasked Martha (Sherrie Hewson) with eliminating Sienna from the equation but the mother and son duo reconsidered when they realised that Sienna had no memory of what she uncovered previously.
However, it turned out that Sienna was simply biding her time and, determined to get justice for all of his victims, Sienna set to out to expose Jez for what he did.
Doing so, however, proves more difficult than she initially thought and, with her plans to report Jez to the police having backfired, she resolves to flee instead.
Next week, Sienna arranges to pick up some new identities for her and her loved ones as her plan is officially set in motion but, knowing what she's up to, Jez arrives with Dodger and Liberty Savage (Danny Mac and Jessamy Stoddart), halting the escape plot.
Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) is convinced that Sienna needs help and that such an intervention is needed. But with time of the essence, Sienna decides to meet with the person she's been speaking to online – and Jez goes after her.
A showdown between the two ensues in the folly, with Jez quizzing Sienna on her plans, telling her that he doesn't want her to leave him. Sienna breaks down, claiming that she connects with him better than anyone – but if they have any hope of a relationship then he must turn himself in to the police.
In an unexpected turn of events, Jez agree to do just that.
The question is: will he follow through? That remains to be seen but with Hollyoaks In Bloom underway in the subsequent episode, it seems there's more twists to come.
Cleo, meanwhile, is left in pain and Sienna comes to her aid. Worried something is wrong with the baby, the couple head to the hospital.
It's good news as Cleo and the baby receive the all clear but there's a shock in store when the police arrive at the hospital, looking for Sienna.
Later, Sienna is on the run from the authorities and Jez goes to track her down, with the pair winding up in a garden centre.
What follows is a twisted game of cat and mouse. Sienna is well and truly in Jez's clutches and, determined to maintain the upper hand, Jez takes to the tannoy and pleads for help, claiming Sienna is the one doing the chasing – with a gun! More Trending
Pictures show the horrifying scenes to come, with Jez stalking his terrified daughter through the garden centre. Will Sienna make it to safety? And can she convince her loved ones that Jez is actually the danger and not her?
It's going to be a week not to be missed in the village.

Man arrested at protest after police misread 'Plasticine Action' T-shirt

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Police mistakenly arrested a protester over terrorism offences because they thought his 'Plasticine Action' T-shirt read 'Palestine Action.' Miles Pickering, 59, says senior officers burst out laughing when they realised the blunder before releasing him without charge. He told Metro that he turned up to a protest in Parliament Square on August 9 over the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza wearing the T-shirt. However, when a police officer saw the tee, he arrested the 59-year-old and hauled him to Scotland Yard. This shirt was only a few jumbled letters away from Palestine Action, a group banned under terrorism legislation last month. Section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000 makes it illegal to wear anything supporting a banned organisation. Instead, the T-shirt was for Plasticine Action, a group of artists who campaign against animation generated by artificial intelligence (AI) Plasticine is a modelling material used to create stop-motion figures, such as the character Morph, who features on Miles' shirt. Miles, from Brighton, told Metro: 'He must have misinterpreted the fact that I was wearing a Plasticine Action T-shirt as me wearing a Palestine Action T-shirt. 'I do not support Palestine Action and was not at the protest to support them. 'But I was definitely there to protest genocide and the government's role, as well as to highlight the plight of animators losing their work in this country.' The protest itself led to 532 arrests on terrorism charges, almost all under section 13 of the Terrorism Act. Miles was also nicked under Section 13 and was taken to two gazebos handling the large queues of arrested people. Protesters cheered Miles and others on, the engineer recalled, saying: ''Well done,' 'You're a hero', 'You're fantastic'.' 'I'm pointing to my T-shirt and going, 'Have a look, Plasticine Action',' Miles said. 'I put my fingers to my lips like, 'shh, don't tell the police'. And everyone's laughing and taking photos. And the crowd can see what's happening.' As he was waiting in line to be booked in, a senior officer asked the arresting officer if Miles could be detained under Section 12, which would bring more serious charges of supporting a proscribed group. Miles said: 'My arresting officer said, 'I can't,' and the senior officer said, 'Why not?' 'And he said, 'Because he hasn't got Palestine Action written on him. He's got Plasticine Action written on him'.' Miles claims that 10 minutes later, two plainclothes police officers approached him and burst out laughing after seeing his shirt. 'They both look at me, and they said, 'Can you just hold your scarf out of the way, please, sir?' So I did that, and they both laughed quite a lot.' Shortly after, Miles was let go. 'The arresting officer says, 'I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is I'm de-arresting you',' Miles added. 'And I said: 'What's the bad news?' He said, 'It's going to be really embarrassing for me'.' Miles' friend, Cara Brenna, 50, who was not present at the rally, said Miles is a 'lovely guy who stands up for what is right'. 'He's just using humour to show how crazy things are,' the creative artist and charity fundraiser told Metro. 'The fact that he was arrested for wearing a T-shirt saying, 'Plasticine Action'? We need to have a look at what is happening and what common sense is.' The Brighton local added: 'The police's job is to protect the people, but is that being done?' After footage of Miles' arrest went viral online, demand for more copies of the shirt has skyrocketed. Profits go to the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians. According to the product pages at the time of writing, 1,745 white and black Plasticine Action T-shirts have been sold. Miles said: 'What do the police do with people who are walking around with Plasticine Action T-shirts? 'And if another 1,000 people are wearing our T-shirt, or even 500, are they really gonna arrest them as well?' Footage over the weekend from another pro-Palestine protest in Glasgow showed a man, also wearing a Plasticine Action tee, being spoken to by officers. The force confirmed that no arrests were made. Palestine Action was banned after members broke into the RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire and sprayed red paint into aircraft engines. The group, which does not call for violence against people and often targets sites operated by Israeli weapons manufacturers, argued that their actions were a response to the 'genocide' happening in Gaza. Peter Leary, deputy director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, accused the government of 'wasting public resources' and 'silencing' protesters. 'The disgraceful proscription of Palestine Action comes alongside the use of draconian police powers to impose unprecedented restrictions on marches in solidarity with the Palestinian people,' he told Metro. More Trending The Met Police said in a statement to Metro: 'Shortly after 2pm on Saturday (August 9), officers on duty in Parliament Square arrested a man on suspicion of an offence under Section 12 of the Terrorism Act 2000. 'At the time of his arrest, the man was wearing a scarf that partially obscured the slogan on his T-shirt, which officers believed read Palestine Action. 'He was taken to one of the nearby prisoner processing points where, once officers realised the t-shirt actually read Plasticine Action, he was de-arrested and was free to leave. 'His arrest is not included in the figure of 532 arrests as part of the policing operation that day.' Austin Butler suffered 'temporary blindness' on a plane

Austin Butler has suffered an array of unusual health scares over the years, but perhaps the most bizarre came when he lost his vision for 'several minutes' while on a plane. The Elvis star, 34, was flying to film The Bikeriders – Jeff Nichols' crime drama also starring Tom Hardy and Jodie Comer – when he was overcome by a horrific migraine as the plane was landing. He 'lost his vision for several minutes, reports Men's Health, and then 'willed' his sight to return, and it did eventually. Austin worked the whole day, and put the bodily glitch down to a lack of sleep. Not only that, but the magazine reports in an interview with the Masters of the Air actor that he also suffered from a sudden foot pain while on a Dune: Part II press tour, which left his toes curled up to ease the agony for eight months. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video He went to the doctor and it turned out there was a shard of glass lodged in there. Austin has previously put his health on the line for work, having opened up about the huge toll becoming Elvis had on him mentally and physically. The day after filming wrapped, Austin was hospitalised from a virus which gave him symptoms of appendicitis. 'I woke up at 4 in the morning with excruciating pain, and I was rushed to hospital,' he told British GQ before the film came out. 'My body just started shutting down the day after I finished Elvis.' In the role, Austin took up The King's southern drawl, which he struggled to shake once filming had wrapped in his red carpet interviews and TV appearances. Speaking at a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival, Austin explained how he obsessively studied the Jailhouse Rock hitmaker for the role. 'I basically put the rest of my life on pause for two years and I just absorbed everything I possibly could,' he said. 'I just went down the rabbit hole of obsession. And I broke down his life into periods of time where I could hear the differences in how his voice changed over the years and how his movement changed over the years and I spent two years studying, trying to find his humanity as best as I could through that.' He said he had placed 'unrealistic expectations' himself to bring Elvis to life, recalling: 'When I first started, I put these unrealistic expectations onmyself that somehow, if I worked hard enough, I could make my face identical to Elvis' face. 'And that my eyes would look exactly like Elvis' eyes and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video When filming was halted over Covid-19 Austin's obsession was exacerbated. 'I had these compilations of his voice I would listen to every day, his laugh, different songs,' he once recalled on Jimmy Kimmel Live. 'And then once I was allowed to leave the apartment, you know, I would usually wake up every day around 3 or 4 in the morning with this terror,' he said. 'It was such a daunting thing. And I really just was guided by my terror really.' Austin's graft did thankfully pay off, as he won a best leading actor Bafta and was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of the rocker. Officer caught stuffing pair of knickers in back pocket during police search

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video A police officer carrying out a search of a woman's bedroom snatched something that wasn't exactly evidence. PC Marcin Zielinski can be seen rifling through a woman's underwear drawer on a secret camera hidden behind some children's toys. Unaware he is being filmed Zielenski, 47, looks away before going back in to the drawer, scrunching up a pink pair of panties and shoving them in his back pocket. He then sharply exits the room. Zielinski resigned from the force while under investigation in November 2024. He was sentenced to four months in prison this week after admitting to the theft. Cambridge Crown Court heard that Zielinski stole the panties while he was carrying out a Section 32 search at a Hertfordshire home on September 12 last year. A woman living at the address had been arrested in connection with an unrelated matter and was later released with no further action taken. More Trending A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said the force was 'appalled' by his actions, adding that Zielinski had already been suspended and would now face misconduct proceedings. They said: 'This behaviour is a gross breach of trust and falls far below the standards expected of a serving officer. His conviction and sentence reflect the seriousness of the offence.' The victim is being supported by specialist officers.
