Heat warning comes down, humidity persists
The heat warning has come down across southern Ontario with the chance for showers the rest of the week in Windsor-Essex. The heat will not be as intense but the humidex will still make it feel pretty warm outside. The forecast high for Wednesday is sitting at what is considered the normal for this time of year, around 27 C, but the humidex making it feel like 35 C. It will stay warm overnight, forecast to be around 20 C, with the normal overnight low for this time of year usually around 16 C. Heat warning lifted for Ottawa, but humidex will still make it feel like 30 today

Environment Canada lifted the heat warning for Ottawa and eastern Ontario late last night. The temperature hit 33.3 C on Wednesday, with the humidex making it feel like 44. On Tuesday, the temperature warmed up to a record 35.2 C. The forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud today. High 28 C with the humidex making it feel like 30. Partly cloudy tonight. Low 17 C. Thursday will be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers. High 23 C. It will be mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers on Friday. High 20 C. The outlook for Saturday calls for mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 23 C. Sunday will see a mix of sun and cloud. High 29 C. The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 25 C and a low of 15 C.
