He scored 538 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 163.03 and an average of nearly 60 in IPL 2025. Australia's Josh Inglis is currently one of the most explosive T20 wicketkeeper-batters in world cricket. The 30-year-old is one of only two wicketkeepers to have scored over 400 T20I runs, averaging 37.09 with a strike rate of 181.33 in 15 matches. Across all T20s, he has accumulated 739 runs in 28 games at an average of 33.59 and a strike rate of 169.10. Sanju Samson has been in an outstanding form in the past few years in T20I. With 417 runs at an average of 37.90 and a strike rate of 183.70 in 12 games—including an incredible three hundreds—the stylish batter has amassed the highest run total among wicketkeepers. He has also had outstanding results in T20 cricket overall over the past 12 months, scoring 739 runs at an average of 35.19 and strike rate of 161.70 in 23 games. West Indies captain Shai Hope has transformed into a reliable T20 wicketkeeper-batter. With 1,258 runs at an average of nearly 42 and a strike rate of 129.02 in 35 games, the 31-year-old has amassed the highest total number of runs among wicketkeepers in T20 cricket since August 2024. With 358 runs at an average of nearly 36 and a strike rate of 140.94 in 11 games, Hope has also scored the third-highest total in T20Is during the same time frame as a wicketkeeper. Image credit: X (Formerly Twitter) Nicholas Pooran's name is almost unavoidable in any T20 rankings. The West Indian left-hander stands as the fifth-highest run-scorer among wicketkeeper-batters in the format over the past 12 months, scoring 1,011 runs in 32 matches at an average of 40.44 and a strike rate of 162.54. Pooran scored 524 runs at an average of 43.66 and a strike rate of more than 196 in 14 IPL matches. New Zealand's Tim Seifert remains one of the world's most underarated T20 wicketkeepers. The right-hander has been outstanding in T20I over the past 12 months and can bat at several positions in the order. Over the past year, Seifert has averaged 49 at a strike rate of more than 138 in five T20I. With 1,058 runs in 49 games, he is also one of just five wicketkeepers to have amassed more than 1,000 runs in T20 cricket overall. Ryan Rickelton, who has been hailed as South Africa's Quinton de Kock's successor, has performed admirably in T20 cricket over the past 12 months. With 987 runs at an average of 34.03 and a strike rate of 154.94 in 31 games, the 29-year-old is now the sixth-leading run scorer in the format among keepers since the same period last year Rickelton scored 388 runs at an average of almost 30 and a strike rate of over 150 in 14 games in his debut IPL season. Quinton de Kock scored 109 off 106 deliveries in the first innings. Jitesh Sharma was instrumental in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) maiden IPL title triumph earlier this year. Even while batting mostly in the lower order, the 31-year-old has scored nearly 400 runs in the past year, averaging 36 with a strike rate of 190.38. Jitesh had a fantastic IPL 2025 season, scoring 261 runs in 15 appearances at an average of 37.28 and a strike rate of 176.35. Former South Africa player Heinrich Klaasen , produced a number of memorable knocks, even during what was reportedly a down period over the past 12 months. In 20 games as a wicketkeeper, the 34-year-old amassed nearly 500 runs at an average of 28.41 and a strike rate of 154.31 in all T20s. Against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 2025 Indian Premier League, he hit 105* off 39 deliveries, which was his best performance during this time.
