A new specialty sweet treat is coming to Boston this summer.
Levain Bakery, a New York-based bakery known for their viral cookies, and J.P. Licks, a homemade ice cream shop with locations around Massachusetts, are teaming up to help the city beat the summer heat with cookies á la mode. The collaboration is part of Levain's 30th anniversary celebration, with the bakery pairing their world famous cookies with ice cream from local shops in various major cities across the country.
Here's how to try the Levain á la mode collaboration in Boston.
Levain á la mode will be available for a limited time this summer starting on Friday, May 30. Simply show up to any Levain location in Massachusetts, and you will be given the option to order any cookie of your choice with a scoop of J.P. Lick's vanilla ice cream, a blend of sweet cream and bourbon vanilla, on top.
Levain Bakery has two locations in Massachusetts, both in Boston: 180 Newbury St. in Back Bay, and 107 Seaport Blvd. in Seaport.
