SAMSUNG has stripped features from its latest update in a massive blow to millions of Brits.
The phone company routinely puts out new software to address any flaws or stability issues.

But the latest beta version of the One UI 8 has left many speculating whether the company needs more time to refine its latest tech.
Whilst the new software is a more "stable-looking" build to the last BYFB update many have warned it's missing key features such as an adaptive lock screen.
ROLL-OUT DELAYS
Experts at Sammobile, who tested the upgrade, also told shoppers not "to expect too many changes apart from some missing features".
They believe the firm is now working on a fourth version for the Galaxy S25 series to fix current bugs.

This could delay the roll-out of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Edge, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Samsung is prioritising "stability" and "functionality" over speed, they added.
SOFTWARE BENEFITS
Samsung said its latest updates will better incorporate AI to make features more "intuitive" for its users.
Its latest piece of software will feature intelligent multimodality too - providing users with assistance based off what they're looking at on-screen.
Elsewhere, Samsung has quietly upgraded one of its popular features used to send friends photos and videos.

QUICK SHARE BOOST
Quick Share is the company's very own file sharing tool which not only works between phones nearby but also uploading them onto the web.
Until recently, you were limited to 5GB per day free but users have noticed that the allowance has been doubled to 10GB, allowing people to send much larger files than before.
This is especially useful for longer, high quality videos.
Quick Share for files locally via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct require both devices to be Galaxy.
But one of the great things about Quick Share is the recipient of files shared online via a link don't have to own a Galaxy phone to download them.
SLICK NEW PHONES
The tech giant has unveiled a trio of new foldable smartphones that are thinner and lighter than before.
This includes a new Galaxy Z Fold7 for those wanting to seamlessly switch to a big screen experience, the Galaxy Z Flip7 for a compact handset, as well as a cheaper Galaxy Z Filp7 FE.
On the Galaxy Z Fold7, Samsung has managed to bring the weight down to 215g (less than an iPhone 16 Pro Max) and the thickness to 8.9mm folded.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is the thinnest the range has seen yet at 6.5mm when folded - and the battery size has been increased despite the slimming down.

Premium individual subscriptions will rise from 10.99 euros to 11.99 euros per month. This will occur in markets including South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region. Spotify achieved its first annual profit for 2024, which can be linked to its previous price increases, as well as cost-cutting efforts in recent years. The company's shares have jumped by nearly 8 per cent this year, and they have gained about 40 per cent so far this year. The number of monthly active users and premium subscribers also increased over the second quarter. However, the company reported a loss during the period due to high taxes related to employee salaries. The price hike comes just months after Spotify showed developments on its "lossless audio" feature which is expected to make bills more expensive. It hopes to make songs sound even better for an extra fee for listeners. Last week, it was also revealed the company is making strict changes to its music app that could see some accounts deleted due to new UK age checks. Spotify's new AI feature lets you ask it to make any playlist for you – but there's a trick to finding it in the app Spotify has started showing popups asking people to confirm their age to access certain content made for adults, such as 18+ music videos. Users can confirm their age by sharing a selfie or their ID, a move which is compliance with new laws of the Online Safety Act. It is designed to protect children from easily stumbling across inappropriate material on the internet. A growing number of creators also are said to be joining the Spotify Partner Program. The programme is designed to help offer podcast creators more options for monetising their content. It has has also enabled the significant increase in video content on the platform for subscribers, according to CEO Daniel Ek. SAVE MONEY ON SPOTIFY One of the best ways to save money on Spotify is sharing. With a Premium Family subscription, you and five others can share the cost. You each get your own Spotify account with your own playlists and everything else, it's just billed from one place. To use Premium Family you have to all be living under the same roof. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 review
If you're a Fold devotee, as I am, the first thing you'll notice is the weight of this phone - or rather, the lack of it. Has Samsung put it on Ozempic? This phone has shed an impressive 29g, going from the Fold6's 239g to this new 215g. The Fold5 was even heavier at 253g. With the new release here, it seems absurd that we were burdening our pockets with a device so heavy just a few years ago.
