Speaker of the House: We Will Not Allow Any Party to Spread Its Poison Among Us - Jordan News
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmad Al-Safadi, stated that Jordan will remain strong under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, with the courage of the army and security agencies, and the awareness and resilience of our loyal people, forming a solid internal front. Through this national equation, we have thwarted every opportunity for those who spread sedition and doubt, and we have presented a model in the region of a secure, stable, and steadfast state. اضافة اعلان Speaking at a seminar held in the city of Fuheis, organized by the Fuheis Youth Club under the title 'Current Political Developments and Their Implications for Jordan,' Al-Safadi added that Jordan continues to uphold its duty toward our people in Gaza and all of Palestine. The country remains a firm defender of the just Palestinian cause and an opponent of the brutal war on Gaza, in which the occupying force has committed atrocities unprecedented in human history. He affirmed that our Arab Army remains committed to its humanitarian mission, through relief operations and field hospitals. Yet, this great army has not been spared from tongues of evil, sedition, and betrayal. "Let it be known," he said, "that anyone who dares to attack the army is a coward, an ingrate, and a servant of the enemies of the homeland." Al-Safadi emphasized: "The army represents the pillars of this nation. We will not allow any party—whoever they may be—to spread their poison among us. Let every malicious tongue be silenced, and let all tools of sedition and destruction be broken." He warned that these voices are linked to dark agendas that aim to destroy nations in service of narrow interests—agendas that will ultimately fail against the unbreakable will of Jordanians and under the boots of the army, which will crush every wicked aggressor. Al-Safadi concluded by saying: "We have every right to be proud of our beloved leader. He has remained the faithful guardian of the Hashemite Custodianship over the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Arab Jerusalem, and has stood firm against all attempts to displace Christians from the East." He further praised King Abdullah II's unwavering stance under pressure and his deep connection with the conscience of his people in rejecting all schemes to displace Palestinian brothers and sisters.
"His Majesty has spared no effort to alleviate their suffering and travels the world tirelessly, seeking a just solution that guarantees the full and undiminished rights of the Palestinian people, based on the two-state solution."

‘Selfie yacht' jab backfires on 'Israel' as soldiers' posts resurface
Israeli Occupation's attempt to discredit the humanitarian aid flotilla Madleen by calling it a 'selfie yacht' has drawn sharp backlash online, with users accusing the government of hypocrisy and highlighting 'Israeli' soldiers' own social media behavior during the ongoing war on Gaza. 'Israeli' Foreign Ministry had mocked the Madleen, a boat carrying pro-Palestinian activists and humanitarian aid bound for Gaza, by labeling it the 'selfie yacht,' suggesting it was more of a photo opportunity than a serious mission. The Israeli Navy is currently communicating with the 'selfie yacht'. Using an international civilian communication system, the Israeli Navy has instructed the 'selfie yacht' to change its course due to its approach toward a restricted area. — Israel Foreign Ministry (@IsraelMFA) June 8, 2025 That jab quickly sparked a wave of posts pointing out the irony. In one viral post on X, Assal Rad, a fellow at DAWN, responded with a photograph of 'Israeli' soldiers posing for a selfie in front of rubble in Gaza, captioned 'selfie yacht.' 'Selfie yacht' — Assal Rad (@AssalRad) June 9, 2025 Mitchell Plitnick, president of ReThinking Foreign Policy, also weighed in, sharing similar images and asking, 'The Israeli government calls the humanitarian flotilla, the Madleen 'the selfie yacht'. So what do we call the Israeli army?' The #Israeli government calls the humanitarian flotilla, the #Madleen"the selfie yacht." So what do we call the Israeli army? — Mitchell Plitnick (@MJPlitnick) June 9, 2025 Since the start of the 'Israeli' ground invasion in late 2023, numerous photos and videos have emerged online showing 'Israeli' soldiers smiling, dancing, or making light of the destruction around them, often with Gaza's ruins as the backdrop. Some clips even show soldiers mocking displaced Palestinians, further fueling outrage over the double standard. Critics argue that Israeli Occupation's attempt to delegitimize peaceful aid missions, while its own soldiers document themselves amid devastation, only reinforces perceptions of indifference and insensitivity toward Palestinian suffering.

Qassam Brigades say two 'Israeli' soldiers killed at point-blank range in Gaza
Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that its fighters killed two 'Israeli' soldiers at point-blank range last Tuesday on Al-Nazzaz Street, east of the Shuja'iya neighborhood in Gaza City. The group said the soldiers were targeted after returning from the front lines. In a separate development, Al-Qassam stated that on Saturday, its fighters struck an 'Israeli' D9 military bulldozer with a 'Yassin 105' shell near the Yarmouk site in the Al-Manara neighborhood, south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. These operations come as part of the group's ongoing resistance against 'Israeli' forces, which have been conducting a months-long military campaign in the Gaza Strip.

'Israeli' military prepares to block Gaza-bound freedom flotilla
Israeli Occupation Defense Minister Israel Katz announced Sunday that he had instructed military forces to take all necessary measures to prevent the aid ship Madleen from reaching the shores of Gaza. Katz stated that "Israel will act against any attempt to break the siege or deliver aid; by sea, by air, or by land." In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he warned: 'It's better you turn back, you will not reach Gaza.' His remarks come amid growing concerns expressed by the International Committee to Break the Siege on Gaza, which accused 'Israeli' forces of deliberately disrupting the signal and location of the Madleen as it nears Palestinian waters off the coast of Gaza. The committee described the interference as 'dangerous' and a direct threat to the safety of the activists on board. The Madleen is carrying humanitarian aid, including food, medicine, crutches, prosthetics for children, and water filters. The committee urged the international community to intervene immediately to ensure the ship's safe passage and warned that any escalation could endanger both the activists and civilians in Gaza.
