Debenhams reduces summer BBQ that cooks food 'perfectly every time'
Having a 'reliable' barbecue to 'cook up a storm' this summer will help make the most of any glorious weather
If you're planning to have any gatherings this summer, a good grill will be essential to perfectly cook burgers, hot dogs, and more. And one of Debenhams' top-selling barbeques has been given a huge discount, making now a great time to invest in one.
The OUTSUNNY Gas BBQ Grill has plenty of cooking space, making it ideal for hosting your friends and family. The online description of the appliance on Debenhams' website claims the BBQ is "great for outdoor parties".
There are a few size options available online - the four-ring version (£199.99), the slightly smaller three-ring (£179.99) or the bigger six-ring version (£249.99). All have similar features, including a generous grill surface and a handy side hob for whipping up side dishes, and every appliance is currently a third off its usual price.
The gas-powered appliance delivers even heat, making sure your meals come out "perfectly cooked every time." Even a novice griller should be able to understand the "easy-to-read lid-mounted thermometer," so you don't have to gamble on whether your food is cooked properly.
With the built-in wheels, it should be easy to move about the garden wherever you want to grill your burgers or store your barbecue when not in use. Both models have closable lids, too, allowing food to lock in that "signature smoky barbecue flavour".
You should also be able to keep all of your grilling essentials within close reach. The 'convenient' side tabletop and lower cupboard offer some added storage space.
There are plenty of barbecue deals available elsewhere, too. Many Brits will want to buy early and make the most of the sunny weather that's due to hit within days. You could get this GoodHome Powell Black 4 burner Gas BBQ from B&Q for £200. The hardware store also sells a stainless steel version for £250.
Argos also has a 4-Burner with Side Burner Gas BBQ for sale online at £145 that can be marked for home delivery or reserved to pick up via click and collect. Until July 25, shoppers could save 10% on selected barbecue covers with Argos to protect your grill from the unpredictable elements.
Plenty of Debenhams shoppers have posted glowing five-star reviews about the OUTSUNNY Gas BBQ Grill to help others make their minds up about this outdoor appliance. One said: "Brilliant barbecue! [It] was up and running in just under an hour. Very sturdy and works like a charm!"
Another added: "This is a great BBQ, we use it all the time! A bit complex to put together, but once it is up, it's lovely and sturdy. Easy to clean as well." A third also said the assembly took a while, writing: "Extremely good value but a nightmare to assemble! My husband almost lost his mind!"
A fourth said: "Really good quality. Has removable grill plates that can be washed in sink rather than need a wire brush. Would recommend." Someone else put in their review: "Ideal BBQ. We used it for a big party for 40+ guests and it was amazing!"
However, a shopper claimed: "The only problem I had was when I came to clean the BBQ. The metal drip tray had very sharp edges, and when I was drying the tray, the sharp edge sliced my finger open. I had to go to the hospital and have 3 stitches."

Next shoppers rush to buy £118 coat reduced to £49 that's perfect for sudden downpours
Now that summer is basically here, fashion fans are likely contemplating their warm weather wardrobe, often featuring breezy linen outfits. However, this season also presents the perfect opportunity to hunt for off-season steals to stash away for the chillier months. One such steal is on offer at Next, where the Khaki Green Premium Long Padded Hooded Coat has been massively discounted by nearly 60%. Originally priced at £118, it's now going for a cool £49, which means shoppers can pocket a tidy saving of £69. This chic khaki coat is up for grabs in both regular and petite sizes, ranging from XS to XXL. Showcased online by fashion icon Rochelle Humes, the 'stylish' garment is made from a fabric designed to withstand the elements, ensuring you remain dry during unexpected showers. Featuring a snug longline silhouette, the coat boasts a hood and generous pockets for functional flair. There is also a grey version available, currently reduced to £55, down from its original price of £118. Elsewhere, Uniqlo has cut the cost of their Seamless Down Long Coat to £129.90 from £159.90. Meanwhile, Debenhams has whittled down the price of Dorothy Perkins' £89 Longline Padded Coat to just £25, reports the Manchester Evening News. The rave reviews say it all, with Next's Khaki Green Premium Long Padded Hooded Coat earning a shining star-rating of 4.5 out of 5 from numerous happy customers. One delighted buyer said: "Absolutely love this coat. Keeps me very warm in morning dog walks and looks stylish." A second reviewer raved: "Very warm and comfortable. Long enough to keep lower back and legs cosy but still very stylish. Overall really pleased with my purchase." From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What's On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here Another customer gushed: "Love the colour," adding that "It's lightweight, too. The lining keeps you cosy and warm and the hood doesn't blow down in the wind." However, one shopper gave the Khaki Green Premium Long Padded Hooded Coat a two-star review, expressing disappointment that it wasn't as warm as expected. They wrote: " The coat looks very cosy and warm but sadly it's not, which is very disappointing. There are big gaps within filling so you can easily feel the cold and wind." They also criticised the fabric quality, saying: "Quality of fabric is poor. The dirt sticks to it. I washed it only once (after two weeks of casual wearing) as per instructions on the tag but you can barely notice it's cleaned. I don't like giving bad feedbacks but this coat is not cheap so I'd expect better quality from the brand." But another loved their latest Next purchase, adding: "Absolutely beautiful coat well worth the money. Material soft and silky to touch." Somebody else mentioned: "As described, a stylish warm long coat."

Cruise passengers can get free drink packages on over 40 sailings in 2025
Fred Olsen cruise line has launched a huge summer sale and Brits can currently get free drinks packages on a host of sailings in 2025 including Northern Lights cruises Brits planning cruise holidays this year may want to check out Fred. Olsen's latest summer sale, as the cruise line is currently offering a tempting deal with drinks. Cruises already include plenty such as your food, accommodation and travel, but if you want drinks, these usually come at an extra cost on the majority of cruise lines. A drinks package can be a great way of being able to indulge in a tipple or two without having to worry about the size of your bill at the end of the holiday, but these also come at an extra cost. However, Fred. Olsen is currently offering free drinks packages on over 40 sailings in 2025. That will include a range of house beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks too. Holidaymakers who book by June 25, 2025, will be able to enjoy the free drinks, worth £24.99 per person per night (or if you're booking five-night cruises, worth £35.99 per person, per night). You can already book on the Fred Olsen website, and there's an impressive array of itineraries included whether you're hoping to make the most of the summer sun on a sailing to Spain, or have a bucket-list-worthy winter and go in search of the Northern Lights. There's more good news as the sailings are across all three of its ships - Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral - with a range of UK departure ports including Southampton, Dover, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Newcastle and Rosyth (Edinburgh). Whatever cruise itinerary you're eyeing up, according to one cruise insider there are six items you should always pack before heading to the ship. One top tip? Packing both a backpack for your onshore excursions, but also a smaller evening bag for around the ship so you can carry a few essentials whether heading to dinner, a show or even just enjoying a trip to the bar. A card holder is also another essential item, although if you book a package that includes your drinks, gratuities and service charges, then you may not need to think too much about additional costs throughout the holiday! Meanwhile, sun-seeking Brits may want to keep an eye out for itineraries featuring Cartagena in Spain, after the beautiful city was named the sunniest in Europe. The historic port city, which is a popular stop for cruise ships, boasts a plethora of gorgeous architecture, as well as impressive museums and an eye-catching Roman amphitheatre. Unsurprisingly, it's a firm favourite with history and culture fans as well the foodies who flock to the city to indulge in some of that mouthwatering Spanish food. (Tapas and wine, anyone?). The cruise hotspot is underrated, with most tourists opting for the likes of Alicante or Murcia instead, so one of the benefits of visiting is that it doesn't always have the huge crowds found in other spots in peak months (although on a shore day, you might find it a little busier because of the cruise crowds).

After a whirlwind of pre-orders, which are notoriously hard to get hold of, the more powerful console will be available for all shoppers to buy very soon. As retailers including Amazon, Currys, and the My Nintendo Store are still offering pre-orders, with fluctuating stock, Argos has unveiled a key update for this week's sale date. Very currently has the best stock levels as the Mario Kart Bundle and Switch 2 console are both available to order today. While Argos' pre-orders are all currently out of stock, it has shared the exact time it'll go on sale. Sending out a note to interested fans, it said 'the Nintendo Switch 2 is almost here' and revealed the time UK shoppers will want to be online for. It said: "All Argos customers can get their hands on the newest evolution of the console from 6am on Thursday 5th June and with Argos's same-day click and collect service, they can have it up and running in no time." For shoppers looking to get their hands on the device, it's worth saving these pages now, to boost chances of getting a Switch 2 as soon as 6am starts on Thursday. For the standard black Switch 2 console - this is the link to follow - to buy at a price of £359.99 on Thursday (the same price as the current out-of-stock pre-order). Those looking for a bundle, will be able to get the Switch 2 with Mario Kart World for £429.99. Currently, pre-order deals are proving hard to come by and going in and out of stock by the hour. Amazon did drop a surprise restock on the model so it could be worth refreshing before Thursday. The best stock as we speak is Very - the Mario Kart World and Switch 2 console is available to order now. It's not the only gaming deal on our radar this week, rivals at Sony have launched a 'Days of Play Sale ' which includes discounts on its newest console - the PS5 Pro. This runs next week on June 11. The Switch 2 will come with a flurry of enhancements compared to the OLED and Lite models. Launching back on April 2, Nintendo said it brings 'new ways to play games'. It has a larger 7.9-inch LCD screen and displays in full HD at 1080p. The console will also have a redesigned dock with 4K and HDR support, and the Joy-Con 2 controllers will offer mouse controls and magnetic attachment. Plus, the Switch 2 will support new features like GameChat, a voice chat and screen sharing service, and DLSS and ray tracing for improved graphics - for those who wondered how it compared to older models. Other features where it differs to other Nintendo Switch models include its shorter battery life and a higher price point, which is worth flagging with shoppers.
