
UAE delivers critical medical supplies to support Gaza's health sector
It was carried out in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO) as part of the UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
It will be distributed to hospitals, including Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, and several medical facilities to help address severe shortages of medicines and boost emergency responses.
The supplies were delivered to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, said Heba Alnajjar, emergency medical teams (EMT) coordinator at WHO.
Dr. Ibrahim Al-Farra, Director of the Palestinian Aid Delivering Committee at the Ministry of Health in Gaza, described the UAE's assistance as a 'lifeline', noting that the continued supply of medicines and equipment revitalises hospitals and helps save lives.
The delivery is part of aid shipments scheduled under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to ease the health crisis in Gaza and ensure the continuity of medical services.
Sharif Al-Nayrab, media director for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to support the health sector in Gaza.
