Finally getting together two weeks before the finale, the couple were notably the only couple not to declare themselves 'exclusive' before the last day.
Appearing on Joe Baggs' Not My Bagg podcast, Harry explained why he didn't decide to put that label on the pair – and doesn't ever plan to.
'No, we haven't [labelled ourselves exclusive],' Harry explained. 'I think that's just a villa thing, if I'm honest.
'I'm not here for like, 'Oh, we're exclusive', or making a big thing out of being exclusive. The thing for us would be boyfriend and girlfriend.
'Obviously, we're not there yet but when it comes. It was never going to be 'Do you want to be exclusive?''
'I think that goes without saying, from my side, at least, I only have eyes for her after I got back with her in the villa, and now on the outside world, it's the same thing.
'I've got no interest in anyone else.'
The new 'exclusive' tag on the show is often used by islanders who want to note they're closed off from getting to know other people, but haven't reached the stage of wanting to make their relationship official.
However, host Joe noted that it 'confused him' that islanders continued to use it long after bombshells that could threaten their romance could enter the villa – with some even going 'exclusive' days before the final.
'I'm not too sure. I think we could have easily done that as well,' said Harry. 'But, like I said, I think the exclusive thing is more for the show, right?

'Bombshells are coming in, 'oh, I'm exclusive'.'
He then made light of his notable womanising moments on the series by joking: 'I mean, didn't really apply to me so much… the exclusive tag.'
During his time on the show, Harry came under fire for making a play for several of the bombshells, including in Casa Amor.
Breaking Helena's heart when he finally chose Shakira, the awkward ongoing love triangle between the three of them also became central to the show.
While he was in the Mallorca compound, an ex also branded him a 'serial sh****r' and claimed he was dating 12 different girls before appearing on Love Island.
Despite this, Harry and Shakira eventually became the show's runner ups behind Toni Laites and Cacherel Mercer.

She claimed: 'It's a retainer in case they [Meghan and Harry] decide to accidentally do something entertaining again. 'That's basically it. So there's no commitment. 'They've put no money behind this. It's basically the right to first refusal. 'So if they come up with something that doesn't have to do with their whole kind of sermonising about how to save the world, then Netflix might be like, yes. 'I mean, to be brutally honest, what they've done is they've said, 'unless you have some juicy tea to spill on the royal family, or you get divorced and want to give us a documentary, probably not.' 'But if they have something juicy to say about the royal family, like the king sent me a potted plant, which turned out to be poison ivy, or that 'H my fox' just didn't hold me the way I wanted to, and so we've had to consciously uncouple, then maybe. 'That's basically it.' Esther claimed that the deal is the 'best of both worlds' and claims Netflix has been "clever in that sense.' She added: 'These people [the Sussexes] are a household name. They're annoying, but they're a household name. Harry & Meghan were 'not in a strong position' & signed Netflix deal for 'much less'… TV giant 'did it for publicity' 'If they do anything interesting, we have to be first in the queue, because it would be a blockbuster. 'Everyone would be covering it. It'd be a huge media storm. But at the moment, given their track record, absolutely not. 'We're not committing five quid to this.' Five years ago, Harry and Meghan secured a lucrative contract, thought to be worth more than 100 million dollars (£74million), with Netflix after quitting as senior working royals in 2020. Coronation Street star Beverley Callard showcased her giant leg tattoo as she uploaded a clip to Instagram on Thursday. The soap actress, 68, who starred as Liz McDonald on the ITV soap, was seen standing in her kitchen wearing a pair of skimpy denim shorts. But as her husband, Jon McEwan - who she has been marry to since 2010- walked towards her, fans were able to catch a glimpse of her extended inking. She has added a sixth magnolia to the 'growing' bloom of flowers which creeps up her lower leg. The design features purple, blue and red flowers with pretty petals winding their way up her calf from her foot. It's not the first tattoo for the soap star, with Beverley previously revealing she got her first inking at 59. The actress had comedy and tragedy masks inked over a music score along with a red love heart in tribute to her husband Jon. The couple's names are written in the love heart along with 30-10-10, their wedding anniversary. Before tying the knot with Jon, Beverley was married to Steve Callard from 1989 until 2001, David Sowden from 1980 until 1988 and Paul Atkinson for three years from 1974 until 1977. Beverley has previously revealed that she's planning to go under the knife because she's 'scared of not getting any work'. Talking about her plans to have a facelift, Beverley told The Sun: 'I am going to do it, yes. It's difficult because our industry is so sexist and ageist, still.' She continued to reflect on how many films have husbands who are much older than their wives, saying the wives are usually 'stick insects… and their faces don't move'. 'I'm just going to join that because I'm scared of not getting work,' she added. The actress is thought to be intending to have the work done at London's Harley Street Skin Clinic. Despite being quite determined to have the surgery, her husband Jon and children Rebecca, 46, and Joshua, 32, are not said to be very keen. Beverley brushed off their concerns, saying she 'hates mirrors' and hasn't got much confidence about her appearance, preferring to play a role than appear as herself. She also detailed Jon's response to her facelift plans while on Melanie Blake's Girl Talk podcast in March, saying: 'Jon really doesn't want me to have it done. 'But I'm going to do it and I am doing it for me.'
