Easton Carmichael homers twice, Oklahoma rolls past Huskers 17-1 to reach regional final

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Easton Carmichael homered twice and drove in four runs, Oklahoma matched its season high with 18 hits and Cade Crossland scattered five hits over seven innings as the Sooners advanced to the Chapel Hill Regional final with a 17-1 rout of Nebraska on Sunday.
The Sooners (37-21) will play No. 5 national seed North Carolina on Sunday night and would have to win that game and beat the Tar Heels again Monday to reach super regionals for the first time since 2022. The Cornhuskers (33-29) went 1-2 in their second straight regional appearance.

In 2025, Bland hit .250 with three home runs and 10 RBIs. Kadey Lee McKay, INF Kadey Lee McKay was the second Oklahoma true freshman to enter the portal in the early stages of the offseason. McKay was considered the No. 52 player in the 2024 cycle. Hannah Coor, OF Hannah Coor was a regular part of the outfield rotation for the Sooners, appearing in 45 games and starting 23 in 2025. She hit .329 with two home runs and 15 RBIs and played a strong defensive outfield for the Sooners.
