"POTENTIALLY hazardous" waste including poo and used bog roll was allegedly left to fester at a park in 30C heat by travellers.
Locals living near the Hough Ends Fields in Chorlton, Manchester, have complained of unbearable smells following the encampment.

It comes as a large traveller encampment was evicted from the playing fields last Friday - with the city council then posting signs reading: "Potentially Hazardous Waste Do Not Enter.
"Cleaning will be commencing as soon as possible."
The authority also taped off a vast area of woodland with the same "do not enter" signs in place.
Around 30 caravans had pitched up from June 12 for eight days with residents and dog walkers horrified at the level of filth and muck spread around.
The pitches invaded by the Travellers are used by rugby union team Broughton Park FC.
One 80-year-old walking her dog Sky told The Sun: "It was disgusting. Dirty toilet paper just blowing about, nappies and sanitary towels.
"One pick-up truck just raced onto the field and missed my dog Sky by just inches – they have no respect and don't seem to care.
"They left a pile of cuttings from trees and garden waste down the other end and that needed clearing away.
"The smell was absolutely horrendous."
International business student Conor Gregory, 22, who lives nearby, hails originally from Appleby in Cumbria - which hosts the annual Horse Fair every June.

Conor added: "It has got a lot worse more recently."
Shopworker Kyra Crump, 18, said: "The litter and mess and other filth is just appalling. They obviously have no common decency – otherwise they would clear it all up themselves.
"If you go out you have to watch where you are walking as there is so much waste on the floor.
"People were posting images of just how disgusting it was.
"They don't care about the local community at all. One minute they are here and the next they are gone."

Games host Connie Harphand, 25, who has a flat overlooking the playing fields, said: "It was a shock waking up one morning and seeing them all there.
"My flat mate sent me a video of the antics and we had vans and police cars ever day.
"We probably had 30 or so caravans and they were just driving through an entrance they had made for themselves on the main road."
A 59-year-old handyman, from Altrincham, who works in the area, but declined to be named, told The Sun: "I've worked around here for 25 years and they have been turning up more in recent years.
"Some of the people I work for are very appalled that it's happening so much – they fear it will have an impact on property prices and want the council to keep them out."
The city council has confirmed it has blocked access to sections of Hough End Playing Fields, for the clean up and a vast skip stands on the path with all the tapes and warning signs now removed along with the waste.
A council spokesperson said the waste was found after a "traveller encampment" was "evicted" from the Fields last Friday (June 20).
A statement read: "An encampment of travellers was evicted from Hough End Playing Fields on Friday, June 20.
'The site was assessed and re-secured and an initial clean-up operation to remove a huge quantity of waste was undertaken.
"The removal of the remaining waste by our contractor Biffa has started today to ensure that this part of Hough End is re-opened and accessible for residents once again.'
The statement from the authority added it will investigate security for the park.
The spokesperson continued: 'We continuously review our site security and we will work with the rugby club to see how we can both better secure this site for the future."
The council spent millions on a controversial expansion of the Fields' leisure centre that opened in 2022, with campaigners arguing building car parks and artificial sports pitches on the grass was bad for the environment.
The Sun has contacted Greater Manchester Police for comment.

The US National Park Service said: "Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of the largest protected areas in the eastern United States where black bears can live in wild, natural surroundings. Bears inhabit all elevations of the park. Though populations are variable, biologists estimate that roughly 1,900 bears live in the park. "This equals a population density of approximately two bears per square mile." They added: "Black bears in the Smokies are black in color, but in other parts of the country they may be brown or cinnamon. "They may be six feet in length and up to three feet high at the shoulder. "During the summer months, a typical adult male bear weighs approximately 250 pounds while adult females are generally smaller and weigh slightly over 100 pounds. However, bears may double their weight by the fall. "Bears over 600 pounds have been documented in the park. Bears can live 12-15 years or more, however bears which have had access to human foods and garbage have a life expectancy of only half that time."

"To avoid the worst of the traffic, travel outside peak times and steer well clear of morning and evening rush hours. 'If a getaway journey involves hours in the car, it's essential to be well rested and fresh for the trip. "If possible, share the driving with another passenger to ensure concentration levels stay high, while those travelling with children should pack plenty of entertainment to keep them occupied and minimise questions of 'are we there yet?'. Water, snacks and phone chargers are essential! 'Before setting off, drivers should do whatever they can to avoid their vehicles letting them down, like checking oil and coolant levels as well as the condition and tread on all tyres. "There's also still time to book an RAC Mobile Mechanic who can carry out a wide range of repairs at home or work, as well conducting a full or interim service.' The busy port has undergone a huge renovation in recent months, which reportedly cost a £6billion. Previously only able to accommodate ships with a maximum length of 320m, it can now allow boats of up to 350m to moor at Dover. Especially if you remember walking through green woodland packed with ferns, moss and lichen - with a really memorable earthy, damp scent. They once covered more than 20 per cent of the UK - but history devoured them - and now there's less than one per cent. So the Wildlife Trust, sponsored by Aviva, has just launched an epic 100-year restoration project to bring them back. The temperate rainforest restoration programme will restore approximately 1,755 hectares of temperate rainforest across the British Isles. Some of the new sites created through this programme include Bowden Pillars in Devon, Bryn Ifan in North Wales, Creg y Cowin and Glion Darragh on the Isle of Man, Trellwyn Fach in Pembrokeshire, and – most recently - Skiddaw in Cumbria. Garden Designer Zoe Claymore, won a silver gilt medal at RHS Chelsea for her British Rainforest Garden. She told me: 'I didn't know it at the time - but I played in a British rainforest as a child. The end of my grandparents garden in Devon went into Lidford Gorge which is one of the last existing rainforests. 'In the UK they're found in the Goldilocks zone - not too hot, not too cold - and by rivers, gullies and gorges, because you also need the moisture from the river creating that ecosystem.' But there are ways of recreating one in your own garden, she said. 'Even if you don't live in an area suited to creating a rainforest there's other plants that will create the same vibes. Mums are raving about an indoor tropical rainforest attraction in the UK 'Create shade with Hazels - they're a great small tree which gives a real native-feel and perfect for small gardens. Or include hollies, birch or willows. 'Create a water feature - from a little stream with a few rocks or simply as an old-school rock water bowl - to create that sense of humidity. "But even if you just did a pond in a pot surrounded by some fun little logs, that will create habitat, that will bring wildlife, and it will create that kind of feeling of rainforest-y wetness." It's easy to make a home made pond - using old washing up bowls. Tesco's are currently selling one for just £2.75. First choose a spot that's sunny but not in direct sunlight all day - otherwise the water will evaporate. Then all you have to do is put some logs around it, and a few stones, so wildlife can climb in and out easily - almost like a ramp. Ideally fill it with rain water rather than tap. And then put in about three water plants - like mini water lillies or water forget-me-not and sit back waiting for the wildlife. Zoe added: 'Then use British classic woodland plants and really focus on ferns - the unsung beautiful heroes of shade gardening - as well as bluebells, foxgloves, primulars, ivy, bananas and - if you've got a wet area - moss - which is the jewel in the crown - so your garden will be green all year round."
