Saban Films has released the trailer for its action thriller Desert Dawn . In the film, 'a newly appointed small-town sheriff (Kellan Lutz) and his reluctant deputy (Cam Gigandet) find themselves in a web of lies and corruption when the murder of a mysterious woman leads them to a dangerous conspiracy involving shady businessmen and the cartel.'
The movie was directed by Marty Murray and it looks like one of those low-budget run-of-the-mill half-assed action films. But, you know, surprisingly there is a big market out there for these movies! People watch them, so the studios will continue to make a distrubute them,

Samuel L. Jackson and Pierce Brosnan have their eyes on a missing stash of gold in the trailer for the Western movie The Unholy Trinity. Saban Films and Roadside Attractions are set to release director Richard Gray's feature in theaters nationwide June 13. Brandon Lessard, Veronica Ferres, Gianni Capaldi, Q'orianka Kilcher, Tim Daly, Ethan Peck, Katrina Bowden and David Arquette round out the cast.
