Savage Trailer for The Horror Survival Thriller RIVER OF BLOOD — GeekTyrant
Saban Films has released the trailer for the new horror thriller, River of Blood , which comes from director Howard J. Ford of The Dead, Escape, and DarkGame. The movie looks like it's going to take audiences on a savage, bloody, and intense ride! In the film, 'A jungle kayak adventure descends into terror when a group of friends becomes the target of a merciless, bloodthirsty tribe.' River of Blood stars Joseph Millson, Louis James, Ella Starbuck, Sarah Alexandra Marks and David Wayman. The movie will be available in select theaters, Digital and On Demand on August 1st.

Trailer For The Sadistic Serial Killer Occult Film STRANGE HARVEST — GeekTyrant
Saban Films & Roadside Attractions have shared the trailer for an upcoming indie horror thriller titled Strange Harvest , which centers on an occult murder in the Inland Empire. In the film, 'Detectives (Peter Zizzo & Terri Apple) are thrust into a chilling hunt for 'Mr. Shiny'—a sadistic serial killer from the past whose return marks the beginning of a new wave of grotesque, otherworldly crimes tied to a dark cosmic force.' The movie comes from director Stuart Ortiz ( Grave Encounters ) and it stars Peter Zizzo, Terri Apple, Andy Lauer, Matthew Peschio, Janna Cardia, Travis Wolfe Sr, and Christina Helene Braa. It doesn't look like the best horror movie, but it's been getting good reviews, so maybe it's better than it looks. Strange Harvest will be released in select US theaterson August 8th, 2025.

Trailer for the Action Film BANG with Peter Weller and Jack Kesy — GeekTyrant
Saban Films has released a trailer for the upcoming action thriller Bang , and it follows a character named Bang, played by Jack Kesy, 'one of the most feared hitmen, questions his violent life after a near-death experience. Seeing a future beyond bloodshed, he wants out—but his crime boss won't let go without a fight.' The movie was directed by Wych Kaosayananda, and it also stars Peter Weller, Tristin Mays, Kane Kosugi, and Bear Williams. This looks like another one of those generic and forgettable action movies, but there is an audience out there for them, otherwise these kinds of films wouldn't keep getting made. Bang will be released in select theaters and on VOD on July 11th, 2025.

Saban Films has released the trailer for its action thriller Desert Dawn . In the film, 'a newly appointed small-town sheriff (Kellan Lutz) and his reluctant deputy (Cam Gigandet) find themselves in a web of lies and corruption when the murder of a mysterious woman leads them to a dangerous conspiracy involving shady businessmen and the cartel.' The movie was directed by Marty Murray and it looks like one of those low-budget run-of-the-mill half-assed action films. But, you know, surprisingly there is a big market out there for these movies! People watch them, so the studios will continue to make a distrubute them, Desert Dawn is currently available to watch in select theaters and on VOD.

Samuel L. Jackson and Pierce Brosnan have their eyes on a missing stash of gold in the trailer for the Western movie The Unholy Trinity. Saban Films and Roadside Attractions are set to release director Richard Gray's feature in theaters nationwide June 13. Brandon Lessard, Veronica Ferres, Gianni Capaldi, Q'orianka Kilcher, Tim Daly, Ethan Peck, Katrina Bowden and David Arquette round out the cast. Once he arrives, Henry is caught in a feud between the upstanding new sheriff (Brosnan) and the mysterious St. Christopher (Jackson). 'Let me give you a bit of advice: Keep your ancestry between us,' Brosnan warns Lessard in the trailer after learning of his father's identity. 'Not every man who is known is loved.' Later, Jackson boasts, 'I know your daddy real well. Me and him stole enough gold to pave the streets of heaven.' He goes on to add, 'In case it ain't obvious, you will find that gold.' Gray (Murder at Yellowstone City) directed the film from a script by Lee Zachariah. Serving as producers are Gray, Carter Boehm, Kellie Lessard Brooks, Jeanne Allgood Gaisford, Michele Gray, Colin Floom and Cameron Lessard. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter late last year to promote his drama The Last Rifleman, Brosnan reflected on his busy schedule of late. 'I've got four movies in the can,' the actor said at the time about Black Bag and other projects. 'I'm at a very joyful time to be able to move around the stage and to be able to have choices and hopefully to be able to equip myself within the roles.'
