As Blackpink singer Lisa continues to promote her debut solo album Alter Ego and several singles from the project, she scores a new win on charts all around the world. The singer and rapper has teamed up with pop band Maroon 5 for its new track, "Priceless."
The group is hoping for something of a comeback, tapping into Lisa's incredible popularity and talent — and the plan has worked, at least in the beginning. The collaboration debuts on rankings in many major markets, and Lisa scores another successful non-solo tune in the United Kingdom. Her always-expanding list of appearances on the main singles chart in that country underscores just how instrumental collaborations have been to her success outside of Blackpink.
"Priceless" is Lisa's sixth hit under her own name on the Official Singles chart. That list ranks the most popular tracks across the U.K., blending both sales and streaming activity during the latest frame. The Maroon 5 duet opens at No. 69.
Lisa is quickly racking up hits, but Maroon 5 has been doing so for years. The band earns its twenty-eighth win on the Official Singles chart and has claimed at least a dozen successes on both of the purchase-only rosters.
Lisa's half-dozen appearances on the Official Singles chart are split evenly between entirely solo efforts and collaborations. Her first three charting tracks — "Lalisa," "Money," and "Rockstar" — did not credit any other artists. Her most recent three, however, have benefited in part from the fan bases of other acts.
The Blackpink star scored her first successful collaboration on the Official Singles chart in August 2024, when "New Woman" with Rosalía debuted at No. 55. It spent just one frame on the tally before dropping off. In February of this year, she was joined by Doja Cat and Raye on "Born Again," one of the biggest singles from Alter Ego. That track nearly reached the top 10, peaking at a lucky No. 13 and sticking around for seven frames.
Now with "Priceless," Lisa has collected a trio of charting collaborations in a row. Half of her solo output on the Official Singles chart includes other musical acts.
"Priceless" performs significantly better when looking at pure purchases when compared to the main songs ranking. The title opens at No. 8 on the Official Singles Downloads chart and comes in one spot lower on the Official Singles Sales roster.

And They Call It Plushie Love: Fashionable People on Their Labubu Obsession

Unless you exist in a blissfully offline experience, you'll have noticed Labubu hype is at unprecedented high. Even IRL, you can hardly move on the streets of major cities without being nudged by a handbag bedecked with the fang-toothed critters. Personally, I love her. Yes, despite her gender-fluid appearance and undiscriminating appeal, Labubu is a girl. An elfin character first created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung, Labubu was conceived as part of a story series called The Monsters in 2015. Then, in 2019, Labubu evolved into the collectible toy market with a line of figurines that became available through a partnership with Chinese retailer Pop Mart. Later, they were developed into plush toys on keychains—perfect timing, to chime with the emerging trend of bag charms, trinkets, and toys in fashion; Pop Mart's first Labubu keyring series was called the 'Exciting Macaron,' and dropped in October 2023. Inspired by Nordic folklore, the pastel shades of Labubu's fluffy body and the gently devilish facial expressions that differ with each iteration of the character are the perfect blend of cute and ugly. She's the latest in a long line of iconic characters that have emerged from Asia; Hello Kitty, Sonny Angel, and Gudetama are her foresisters. Pop Mart's Cry Baby series seems to be following fast in her footsteps. Labubu has been spotted on Rihanna, Dua Lipa, and perhaps most notably, Lisa from Blackpink, who spoke to Vanity Fair about her obsession—certainly, one of the sparks that lit the match for Labubu's now-worldwide domination. But, as with anything that becomes too beloved, too hyped, too memed, the backlash has begun. In the UK, Pop Mart was forced to pull Labubu from stores after an altercation in a queue occurred in May 2025. Overzealous resellers, it seems, resorted to violence to get their hands on the coveted critters. Fans remain furious with the pause. Labubu is, after all, the number one piece to collect on resale platform StockX. Some roll their eyes: Why are all these people—not even children—queueing for toys at a time like this? There are plenty of critiques from those harbouring hate—Labubu aren't recyclable, they're just a 'recession indicator,' a part of so-called 'regression core.' The mimetic desire they create feeds into the capitalist whirl of consumer culture! This type of collecting is a silly, frivolous pastime! As British Vogue's Daniel Rodgers writes: 'The Labubu is just another colorful flash on the internet's radar: Something we consume for a few months until the next trend arrives, kicking off a fresh cycle of thinkpieces.'

Documentary About Blackpink's Lisa in Production

A new documentary on pop superstar Lisa is in the works, Sony Music Vision revealed during the company's inaugural content showcase in Los Angeles on Thursday evening. Produced in partnership with LLOUD CO/RCA Records and Tremolo Productions, the documentary — directed by Sue Kim — follows Lisa for a year in her life as she pursues her solo career away from K-pop supergroup Blackpink. That journey has included the release of her debut album, Alter Ego, which notably landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and debuted at No. 1 on the top album sales chart. She also performed her first solo set at Coachella as well, and starred in season three of The White Lotus. However, the documentary promises to 'give fans exclusive access to Lisa with an in-depth look at the artist's groundbreaking career and creative vision outside of the world-renowned group, Blackpink.' 'I really tried to impress upon Lisa how much not just me — but I think the world — wants to see off-stage Lisa,' Kim said during the showcase Thursday after showing select footage of the project to those in the audience. 'She loves to refer to herself as, 'I'm just a normal girl from Thailand.' And when you meet her, she actually is. She's so down to earth. It's quite shocking, and so real and so sincere. But she's very incredibly found herself in this crazy position of being one of the biggest superstars in the world, and even within that world, she's trying to expand out of it.' Kim hails most recently from A24's The Last of the Sea Women, for which she won a New York Women in Film and TV award after it premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival. She additionally executive produced the Apple TV+ docuseries K-Pop Idols. Morgan Neville and Caitrin Rogers for Tremolo Productions, and Sue Kim and Courtney Crockett for Salt Water Productions will serve as producers; Alice Kang and Joojong Joe serve as executive producers for LLOUD CO.; and Peter Edge, John Fleckenstein and Camille Yorrick serve as executive producers for RCA Records. Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener and Abby Davis serve as executive producers for Sony Music Vision. The doc is presented and distributed by Sony Music Vision in partnership with RCA Records. Sony Music Vision's first official showcase, an upfront for the company's upcoming slate, comes as the company has ramped up its content in recent years, as evidenced by recent films like Sly Lives and Luther: Never Too Much. The company showed a teaser for their recently announced Oasis reunion tour concert film Thursday, while Frank Marshall showed footage for his upcoming Barbra Streisand documentary. Baz Luhrmann finished up the showcase talking about his upcoming Elvis concert film, sharing a few minutes of music and footage he's compiled so far. 'I would've thought Elvis would've left my building by now, I've only been on it for seven years,' Luhrmann said, calling back to the 2022 biopic he directed. But his team had uncovered nearly 60 hours of previously lost footage, which helped set the concert film in motion. With the help of technology, Luhrmann said he and his team are looking to 'claw back' some of the sound that was unavailable on the footage they found. 'Elvis Presley in concert, and he will sing and tell his story like never before. He will tell it because what was remarkable is that we found audio of Elvis talking about his life,' Lurhmann said. 'In my mind, it's kind of like you have a dream. Elvis comes, he does a concert, and he sings and tells you his life story.' Miley Cyrus Releases Ninth Album, ‘Something Beautiful'

Miley Cyrus's latest album is finally here, as the pop superstar released her much-anticipated Something Beautiful on Friday. Something Beautiful is Cyrus's ninth album in her nearly 20-year career and follows 2023's Endless Summer Vacation, which featured her global smash hit 'Flowers.' Cyrus previously described the new album as 'a unique visual experience fueled by fantasy' and a 'one of a kind pop opera.' She's also set to release an accompanying film for the record for one night only on June 12, and the movie will premiere next week at Tribeca. The album has been widely expected to be one of the biggest releases of 2025. Earlier this week, Cyrus shared the album for a crowd of about 100 fans at a listening party at the Chateau Marmont, surprising attendees with an intimate performance as well, where she performed Something Beautiful tracks 'Easy Lover,' 'More to Lose' and ''End of the World,' along with 'Flowers' and an impromptu performance of 'The Climb.' During the event, Cyrus told her fans Something Beautiful 'is about taking these experiences, even when they're painful or we want to throw them away because they're just too much to bear, and wrapping them in beautiful bows and ribbons and appreciating all these gifts and experiences that we can't understand how they're going to serve us later in our life.' Cyrus also teased more music during the release party, telling the crowd that 'Something Beautiful is just the appetizer.' 'My next album is about to be extremely experimental, so have fun with that,' Cyrus said.
