Fox Sports predicts where the Vikings will be in the 2025 NFL playoffs
The NFL offseason is all about team building and coaches getting ready to see what front offices give them to work with.
It also allows for projecting out how the season may go for teams around the NFL, and that includes the Vikings. Like any team, they have remained busy, and now that free agency and the NFL Draft have come and gone, we know what this roster is going to look like when push comes to shove in September and beyond.
Henry McKenna of Fox Sports projected out the NFL Playoffs, and he included the Minnesota Vikings in it, but in a familiar spot.
McKenna has the Vikings as the six seed, which would mean they would not win the NFC North. Instead, he has the Lions securing the division and the three seed in the process. Ironically, that would allow them to play each other in the first round of the playoffs, where McKenna projects a win for the Vikings. Their magical season ends in the divisional round, as he has the Washington Commanders usurping them in a close game to reach the NFC Championship.
For the Vikings, having the first season of J.J. McCarthy and making a run to the divisional round out of it could be seen as a win. Of course, the ultimate prize will always be a Super Bowl, but in the greater picture, this would be another learning experience for the young quarterback in his second year in the league, and his first year as a starter.

"One month, the best players in the world, the best clubs in the world, to determine who will be the real world championship for clubs," Infantino said. "Not only national teams, but clubs. It's about time someone created a new Club World Cup, right?" The tournament's opening match between Lionel Messi's Inter Miami and Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly FC will take place on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
