War 2 star Hrithik Roshan called Kabir one of his most cherished on-screen characters. Meanwhile, Jr NTR reacted to the incredible public support for the film.
Ayan Mukerji's actioner War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, released in theatres on August 14, and the film has already crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office in two days! Now. amid the film's success, War 2 stars Hrithik and Jr NTR have shared special messages for their fans, thanking them for all the love. Hrithik, who played Kabir Dhaliwal in the film, called it one of his 'most cherished' on-screen characters. He also reacted to the cheers and celebration in cinema halls. Meanwhile, Jr NTR wrote that it is 'incredible' to see the public support for their film.
On Saturday, Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram to share a still of his character from War 2. 'In Kabir's world, battles may be won.. but the war goes on. A character that came to life in 2019, has only fueled my fire as an Actor & Entertainer. Witnessing all your cheers & celebrations in cinema halls, only makes Kabir taller and my heart fuller. Kabir was and always will be one of my most cherished on-screen characters. Thank you for all your love & well-wishes for #War2 and Kabir," he wrote.
Meanwhile, Jr NTR also shared a still of his War 2 character Vikram, and wrote, 'I am seeing your love for #War2 and I love you back for it… Incredible to see the public support for our film which we made with a lot of passion. After a decent start on day 1, Ayan Mukerji's War 2 showed solid growth on its second day at the box office, benefiting from the Independence Day holiday. The big-budget action entertainer added Rs 55.79 crore on Friday, August 15, taking its India net total to Rs 107.29 crore in just two days.
