JoJo Siwa 'dropped by record label' as Chris Hughes romance steps up

Daily Record12-06-2025
Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa has reportedly been dropped by her record label Columbia Records and is now said to be looking for a new place to call home
JoJo Siwa has parted ways with her record company Columbia Records according to recent reports. The Dance Moms star, currently linked romantically to her Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris Hughes, is understood to be seeking a new label.
Speculation grew as she independently released her latest single Bulletproof. Previously, she was part of a star-studded roster of talent at the label which includes the likes of Miley Cyrus and Halle.

However, a recent check reveals that JoJo's name no longer appears on the official website artist list. This comes after her release of the single Karma and an EP titled Guilty Pleasure with the label last year, reports the Mirror.

"JoJo has been dropped by Columbia Records... she self-released her latest song Bulletproof whereas Karma was done with the label. She has been in London on the lookout for a new record company to sign with and playing gigs hoping to impress the right people," a spokesperson shared with the Mail.
Regardless of the setback, JoJo's touring schedule remains uninterrupted with US dates continuing later this month, where her new reported boyfriend Chris Hughes expected to be cheering her on from the audience. The pair have been spending a lot of time together, sending fans into a frenzy at their outings, as they appear to be getting closer than ever.
JoJo, who recently turned 22, opened up about the close relationship she shares with 32-year-old Chris since they left the reality TV show. During a chat with Capital Breakfast's Jordan North earlier in the week, she expressed her deep affection for Chris.
She shared with the host: "You know what's interesting? As hectic as life is, and as much as that noise goes on, I feel like Christopher and I discovered this beautiful house together.
"And this house is earthquake proof, and it's fireproof, and bulletproof. And you know, we discovered this house and found the keys, and we took the keys and locked ourselves in, and now it's like... You know what I mean? I feel like that with myself, I feel like that with him."

When Jordan enquired if Chris was her "happy place," she enthusiastically confirmed. She continued gushing over the former Love Island star: "Oh my god, absolutely! We're having the best time. He's just the best!
"I was saying this to my parents the other day. Like, I'm decently nice; he makes me look like I'm mean! And I'm like known for being nice, that's the thing. People say to me, 'Oh, you're so nice'.
"He makes me we want to be nicer, because he's such a nice human. He's the best egg in the batch! I could never get tired of speaking highly of him, he's just the best."

Noel Gallagher considers new Oasis album as he writes fresh music

Oasis star Noel Gallagher has sights set on a new project, with uncertainty surrounding whether it will involve brother Liam as they continue their epic reunion tour Noel Gallagher is reportedly crafting fresh material but remains undecided whether he will collaborate with brother Liam for new Oasis tracks. Sources close to Noel, 58, say he's been energised by the reaction to the band's sold-out reunion. ‌ However, he's said to be still contemplating whether to continue developing his music solo, or just Roll With It and bring Liam, 52, into the fold for a fresh Oasis record. ‌ An insider revealed to the Mirror: "Noel has been energised by performing to devoted audiences, who have supercharged his creativity. But he is undecided whether his work will become a new album for Oasis with Liam on vocals." ‌ Noel, who also leads High Flying Birds, is reportedly "waiting to see how things play out". However the insider disclosed: "Noel has been in an absolutely fine mood... greeting staff with smiles, super relaxed and sharing his joy about the shows. "He's also been strumming some new tunes in his dressing room. But, from what he has said, these tracks are not yet aligned for any project. "There is no Oasis studio return as yet agreed by the band, and they still have a long way to go. Things are great now, but who knows what will happen given the brothers' past troubles on the road." Oasis parted ways back in 2009 follow a massive row between the siblings, however they delighted fans last year announcing they would reunite as they launched the Oasis reunion tour in Cardiff back in July. The pair are set to earn £50million each if they can maintain harmony during their travels and have so far kept their distance from one another backstage. In Ireland this weekend, even their hotels were reportedly 30 miles apart. ‌ Filmmaker Charlie Lightening revealed Liam's pre-gig routine and how he anticipated both him and sibling Noel would maintain their distance. "With Liam, he'll come and do the soundcheck, then he'll go to his hotel room and just chill all day," he previously said. "And then most of the time, he turns up 20 minutes before he goes on stage, straight into his dressing room, finishes off his warm-up. No one talks to him. ‌ "He comes out five minutes before the show, does the show, then goes straight off into his car. You don't really see him." Charlie reckons the animosity between Liam and elder brother Noel is precisely what drives Oasis forward, as he said: "It will never fully go. It will still have that edge, for sure." Following Ireland the group heads across the pond to Canada, US, and Mexico, before returning to Wembley Stadium in London on September 27 and 28. They will then travel further afield to Asia, Australia and South America, with the final date of their Oasis Live '25 tour taking place in Sao Paulo in Brazil on November 22 and 23.

Katie Price faces lawsuit from exes over revealing documentary plans

Katie Price is facing a new legal battle after her former husbands Kieran Hayler and Alex Reid joined forces in an attempt to block a planned tell-all documentary Katie Price has allegedly found herself wrapped up in a fresh legal battle with her former husbands over a planned tell-all documentary. The programme, scheduled to broadcast next year, is expected to reveal intimate details about her past relationships. ‌ Kieran Hayler, 38, and Alex Reid, 50, are in talks with lawyers in a bid to prevent the film from including them, according to TV industry sources. The duo are communicating through an intermediary, as both are reportedly horrified at the thought of Katie discussing them. ‌ A source revealed to the Mirror: "They feel like they have been backed into a corner and have no choice. They just want her to stop trashing them, and can't believe she is being given a platform." ‌ This news comes after the former glamour model was left struggling with basic tasks after her most recent facial procedures. Legal representatives for Katie 's first husband, Peter Andre, were already on "red alert" before news of the proposed documentary emerged last week. This comes as Peter, 52, issued a statement slamming his former wife's "lies". When questioned about the show, an insider close to the Australian performer said: "His lawyers will be keeping a close eye on all things moving forward in terms of what Kate says or does." The three-part programme is allegedly being produced by Louis Theroux's company Mindhouse and distributed by Sky. A firmly-worded legal notice is being drafted on behalf of Kieran and Alex, pressing the broadcaster to think twice about screening it. A representative for Kieran stated: "We are keeping all our options open. I can confirm Alex Reid is on the same page." A TV insider suggested this week that the autobiographical show would "likely spill the beans on [Katie's] many flings and love affairs" and would be the "most authentic version of her story". However, a source close to Kieran expressed: "Enough is enough. They want to move on with their lives, and they can't trust anything that comes out her mouth." ‌ Katie and Kieran were married from 2013 to 2021. They have two children, Jett, now 12, and Bunny, 11. Former cage fighter Alex tied the knot with the ex-glamour model in Las Vegas in February 2010, however they parted ways in January 2011. Alex sued his ex for breach of confidence, misuse of private information and breach of contract after she disclosed to pals videos and photos of him performing a sex act. ‌ High Court judge Mr Justice Warby branded Katie's behaviour "persistent, flagrant, arrogant, high-handed and inexcusable". She was told to pay £25,000 in damages and £150,000 in costs. Reality TV star Alex said it had an impact on his career, adding: "She was saying the most disgusting things about me... It was affecting me working continually because people were laughing at me." Katie was married to Mysterious Girl singer Pete from 2005 to 2009 in a high-profile romance, and they share Junior, 20, and Princess, 18. She has been thrust into the limelight recently surrounding the debut of her eldest daughter's ITV programme, The Princess Diaries. ‌ Her claim last week that Princess resides with her appeared to infuriate Peter. Branding his ex a serial liar, he declared: "Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until... adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement." He also referenced court proceedings in 2011 and 2015, claiming they demonstrated Katie had made false statements. ‌ A source revealed yesterday, Friday, August 15: "Pete felt he had to do this for the sake of not only him, but his wife [Emily], Princess and Junior. He has received so many messages of support from people who are glad he has called such behaviour out." In her defence, mum-of-five Katie, who also shares son Harvey, 23, with football coach Dwight Yorke, responded: "I know I will always be seen as a sinner. That's fair. I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. ‌ "I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I've self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love." Meanwhile, Princess has stated that the feud between Katie and Peter doesn't bother her as she loves them both. Responding to a fan's query about whether their spats affect her, she said: "To be honest it doesn't. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don't even have any memory of them being together." She further added: "I love my mum and dad and that's all that matters." Katie has alleged that she was barred from Princess' 18th birthday party, which was filmed for her show, and that her daughter's management team considered her trash. However, an insider claimed that Katie wasn't banned but had missed the party due to being overseas. Sky did not respond to a request for comment when approached by the Mirror.
