New Delhi: Things are not the same between the Indian Army and the Pakistan Army since the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the ensuing Operation Sindoor. During the operation, China provided full support to Pakistan. What is UN Troop Contributor Chief Conclave?
As a result of these two incidents, India will not be inviting the Pakistan Army to the United Nations (UN) Troop Contributor Chief Conclave, scheduled to take place in October this year in New Delhi. According to sources, China's PLA is also not invited.
The United Nations (UN) Troop Contributor Chief Conclave will include an integrated firepower demonstration on the third day at the Pokhran Field Firing Range near the India-Pakistan border. It will be a four-day event. What is the UN Peacekeeping Mission?
In this conference, the Indian Army is going to invite the heads of the armies of those countries that send their soldiers to the UN Peacekeeping Mission. At present, a total of 11 missions of the United Nations are going on across the world. Armies from about 120 countries are participating in these missions. Most of the soldiers currently deployed in the UN Peacekeeping Mission are from India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan. What is special about this year's UN Conclave?
For the first time, the Indian Army is going to organise such a UN Conclave. But Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir has not been invited for this very special conference. Asim Munir is said to be the mastermind of the Pahalgam massacre carried out by the Pakistani terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba's offshoot, TRF (The Resistance Force). Indian Army's current deployment
At present, about five thousand (5000) soldiers of the Indian Army are deployed in 9 out of 11 missions of the United Nations. The Indian Army is deployed from civil war-torn Sudan and Congo to the disputed Golan Heights between Israel-Syria-Lebanon. Many times, soldiers of India and Pakistan are deployed together in these missions. But after the Pahalgam attack, the Indian Army has decided to completely sever ties with the Pakistani Army.

"Happy We Tackled Ghost Of Balakot": Air Force Chief On Operation Sindoor Evidence

Bengaluru: Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh on Saturday said the non-availability of images of the damage caused by the Balakot air strike became a "big issue", and people could not be convinced about what was achieved, but during Operation Sindoor, that "ghost of Balakot" was taken care of. Singh, who was delivering the 16th Air Chief Marshal L M Katre Memorial Lecture here, said the Indian Air Force (IAF) shot down five Pakistani fighter jets and a large aircraft during Operation Sindoor, in the largest-ever recorded surface-to-air kill by India. He provided a detailed account of Operation Sindoor with visuals and slides. "When we did Balakot, we did something similar (to Operation Sindoor)," he said, and added that there were no images available, and it became a big issue. "Unfortunately, we couldn't tell our own people as to what we have been able to achieve. We had intelligence that there had been huge damage; there were so many terrorists who were neutralised, but we could not convince our own people. But (this time) we were lucky, and we got these videos out in the open," he said. "I am happy that we could take care of that ghost of Balakot," he asserted. India carried out air strikes in Balakot, targeting a training camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror group. The Indian strikes were in response to a terror attack, carried out in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir by a suicide bomber, resulting in the death of 40 CRPF personnel.

India and Pakistan got independent on same day but they celebrate Independence Day on different dates due to..., reason will shock you

File India gained independence from the British colonial regime on August 15, 1947, while Pakistan was also formed on the same day, thus the date technically is Independence Day for both countries. However, the two neighboring countries celebrate their respective Independence Day on separate dates– August 14 (Pakistan) and August 15 (India). Here's why. Why India and Pakistan celebrate Independence Day on different dates? Interestingly, August 15 is also recognized as Independence Day in Pakistan, which is evident from its commemorative postage stamp issued in July 1948, that mentions August 15, 1947 as the country's Independence Day, according to report by the Pakistan's Tribune newspaper. However, according to historical reports, it is believed that Lord Mountbatten– the last Viceroy of British India– handed over power to Pakistan on the August 14 in Karachi, before travelling to New Delhi and handing over the charge to India's first independent government on August 15. Thus, Pakistan technically became independent from the British a day earlier than India, hence the reason for its separate Independence Day. Historians says that Lord Mountbatten was planned to hand over power both India and Pakistan at August 15 midnight, but renowned Pakistani historian Khurshid Kamal Aziz writes in his book 'Murder of History', that the Viceroy was inclined to transfer power separately to both countries as he was the sole representative of the British Raj in India. Did India and Pakistan celebrate Independence Day on same day? After the transfer of power, the Pakistani cabinet along with the country's founder and first Governor-General Muhammad Ali Jinnah, took oath on the morning of August 15, 1947, and according to historical records, Pakistan celebrated the date as its first Independence Day. However, a year later, in 1948, Pakistan changed its Independence Day from August 15 to August 14, as a large section of Pakistan's population did not want to share the occasion with India.

Operation Sindoor Ends Balakot Doubts With 80-Hour IAF Blow To Pakistan: Air Chief Marshal Reveals Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh says Operation Sindoor finally 'laid to rest the ghost of Balakot.' Speaking at the LM Katre Memorial Lecture, he revealed how the IAF learned from the 2019 Balakot strike, when India struggled to publicly prove the damage inflicted. This time, against Pakistan, there was no ambiguity. In just 80-90 hours, the IAF crippled Pakistan's air power, shooting down five fighters and a massive AWACS aircraft, and destroying key terror hubs in Pakistan and PoK, including the prized Sargodha airbase. Singh credited the success to full political backing, no operational restrictions, and perfect tri-services coordination under the CDS. Using S-400 missiles and precision air raids, India eliminated over 100 terrorists in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam massacre.#balakot #opsindoor #iaf #indianairforce #apsingh #indiapakistan #s400 #airdefence #pahalgamattack #defencenews #counterterror #pakistanairforce #indianarmy #airpower #indiadefense #nationalsecurity #surgicalstrike #breakingnews #militarynews #cds #sargodha #breakingnews #trending #trendingnow #toi #bharat #toibharat #indianews 84.5K views | 9 hours ago
