The Hunting Wives hit Netflix in the U.S earlier this month and has already generated plenty of buzz thanks to its outrageous plot lines and explicit scenes.
It is based on the book of the same name by May Cobb and stars Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect) in the main role alongside a star-studded cast including Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend's Wedding) and Malin Åkerman (Billions).
Brittany plays Sophie who moves to Texas from Cambridge, Massachusetts with her family and grows close to Malin's character, Margo, an enigmatic socialite with plenty secrets of her own.
Sophie is warned to stay away from her new circle of wealthy acquaintances but fails to do so and, before long, the body of a teen girl is found and they all become embroiled in the mystery of her death.

Rebecca spoke about the women in the show and praised them for being unapologetically sexy while behaving very badly.
The showrunner also defended some of the series' more raunchy plotlines after viewers took to social media to label The Hunting Wives as "perverted" and vulgar.
"It's so fun, and juicy and sexy. Everyone is behaving so badly," she told the New York Post.
"I wanted to do an exploration of women behaving badly, unapologetic sexual conquest running rampant, and just something fun."
Rebecca also praised Malin's ability to embrace her sexuality during her nude scenes, as Margo starts an affair with her 18-year-old son's best friend and falls pregnant.
"It was important to find an actress, not necessarily that was willing to do nudity per se, but that really felt comfortable with the sexuality and owning that power that she has," she said.

"I think there's a fantasy of freedom or power that maybe we don't feel so much as middle-aged women."
The showrunner added: "I just think TV has evolved. The first anti-heroes were all men.
"Now, there can be more female anti-heroes and I certainly think Margot Banks falls into that category."
Despite some of the outrage on social media, The Hunting Wives has managed to rack up an 80 percent score of aggregate movie rating site, Rotten Tomatoes.
While it is not yet available to view in the U.K, Deadline reported that it would not air on Netflix as the streaming giant did not acquire the series from producer Lionsgate Television in any market other than the U.S.
"Lionsgate has sold the series in 10 additional territories, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy and India, where it will launch soon," Deadline reported.

Weapons star Julia Garner's life off-screen including health battle and music star husband

She has starred in some massive releases already this year Weapons is the latest big-screen horror to hit UK cinemas today (August 8), terrifying audiences with the tale of a group of children who vanish at exactly the same time on the same night. ‌ The film is written and directed by Zach Cregger who was also the mind behind genre-bending horror Barbarian and 2025 thriller Companion. His latest project has already won rave early reviews from critics. ‌ Brave cinema-goers watching Weapons today may wonder where they've seen the film's star, Julia Garner, before. The actress plays devoted teacher Justine Gandy who finds herself in the firing line when her entire class fails to show up for school. ‌ What has Julia Garner been in? Before Weapons, Garner already had a glittering CV in the world of film and TV. Her big breakout role was as fierce southerner Ruth Langmore in the long-running Netflix drama Ozark, in which she starred alongside acting heavyweights Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. Her portrayal of Ruth won her three Emmy Awards in 2019, 2020 and 2022 in the Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series category. She was nominated for another Emmy in 2022 in the Lead Actress category for her role as con artist Anna Delvey in Netflix series Inventing Anna, but didn't scoop the win. ‌ The 31-year-old star's other acting credits include roles in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Apartment 7A, Wolf Man and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Julia Garner's health battle In a 2021 interview with W Magazine, Garner opened up about her struggles with epilepsy as a child, as well as battling with learning difficulties. ‌ 'I had really bad reading problems and learning disabilities, and I was also very sick as a child, with epilepsy,' she told the publication. 'I felt like everything that I said was stupid, so I just shut down." However, she discovered that acting helped her come out of her shell and communicate in new ways. She explained: "When I took acting, I discovered that I could use someone else's lines and still express my own feelings. "I loved that, because I felt like I was being heard. And not only that, I felt like I could hear myself for the first time.' ‌ Who is Julia Garner's husband? Garner married musician Mark Foster back in December 2019. Her famous spouse is the lead singer of the band Foster the People who had hits with Pumped Up Kicks, Call It What You Want and Don't Stop. The pair had their first meeting at the Sundance Film Festival and they got engaged during a road trip to Yellowstone National Park. Despite plans to wed in 2020, Garner hurried things along and they ended up getting married at Christmas time at New York's City Hall - the same place her own parents had tied the knot.

Netflix users so obsessed with 'raunchy' show they're watching it in one go

A Netflix fan has urged subscribers to check out a new series on the streaming platform - admitting she had to stop herself from watching it all in one go because she doesn't want it to end Netflix subscribers have been binge-watching a new series that's so "raunchy" users can't believe it's available on the steaming platform. Film buff Lexy Puhlick, who is known as on social media, has urged viewers to watch it after admitting to watching five episodes in one sitting. ‌ In her TikTok video, she said: "Everyone needs to stop what they're doing and watch the new show on Netflix called The Waterfront. I was able to bed rot all day today and I started the series in the morning and now I'm on episode five. To be honest, I don't want the show to be over. ‌ "There's only eight episodes so I'm going to force myself to stop watching it now so I don't sit and binge watch it for the entire day." ‌ The series, which is rated 15, follows a "prominent North Carolina fishing family wades into treacherous waters to keep their crumbling business empire afloat." Created by Kevin Williamson, it stars Holt McCallany, Melissa Benoist and Jake Weary - and has a 7 star rating out of 142 reviews on IMDb. She added: "The show is so good - the actors, the actresses, the storyline. Honestly, the love scenes, they're hot. Actually, I'm a little bit shocked that Netflix allowed the type of scenes that they did." ‌ Commenting on her post, one user said: "My husband and I just started it! We are addicted too." Another user added: "Agreed! Reminds me of Animal Kingdom and Ozarks." A third user said: "I enjoyed it too! The only thing: I found the acting in the first episodes really bad, especially the son and this wife. But I kept on watching and started to enjoy. Loved the voices of the mom and dad and the soundtrack." ‌ One IMDb reviewer said: "A solid series that's both entertaining and full of telenovela drama. "There are a few cheesy main actors and a ridiculous scene every now and then, but a good show nonetheless. That 70's show actor is one of the bad guys, named Grady. "And while he's annoying in everything he does, his character actually fits in this particular show. ‌ "Does that make him a good actor all of a sudden? No, it just means his annoying character that he plays in everything he does, just fits this series. "Another main character, Cane, doesn't do too well here even though he's done a better job in other shows, like Animal Kingdom." Another added: "Decent storyline. Some of the dialog is predictable and has me skipping ahead, though. The episode endings have been pretty good transitions between each. "I find a cadence of watching the last part of the episode, then the first part of the next episode, and kind of skipping through the middle. But that's just me. I'm still watching it though - it is enjoyable."

Adult film industry rocked by heartbreak as two stars die within days

Two popular adult film stars have died within days of each other as the industry mourns more losses following the death of Kylie Page earlier in the month The Adult film industry has been dealt a double tragedy as two popular stars have died within days of each other. The sector and its fans are in mourning following the deaths Vitoria Beatriz and Lina Bina. ‌ Texan star Lina died aged 24 from complications caused by a blood clot in her heart and neck, her sister Moni confirmed on social media earlier this week. In a heartbreaking post post, she wrote: "I can't believe you're really gone, baby sister. I woke up this morning wishing it was a big nightmare." ‌ Her death came as fans had began to grow worried about her online silence in the days before. She had garnered a large fanbase across X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and OnlyFans. ‌ In her final post online, Lina - who also went by the handle MissJohnDough - said: "Sorry I've been so ghost, I'm going through a lot of s*** rn." And following her death, fans and fellow stars paid tribute to her. Among those sending messages was fellow adult entertainer Coco Bliss, who wrote: "I love youuuuu why'd you leave us so soon." ‌ Another user sobbed: "Vitoria Beatriz died too!? Her AND @missjohndough days apart is unfair." Their posts came after the news broke that Brazilian star Vitoria had also died aged 28. She was best known for her work with Peruvian company Inka Productions. A fan page who was said to be in regular contact with her broke the news. On their account, they said they remembered Vitoria for her "joy, warmth, and the light she transmitted". Vitoria had been hospitalised days earlier for an unspecified issue. At the time, the Instagram page asked for prayers. It read: "I want to inform you that Vitoria remains hospitalised, and we, the family, have chosen not to share details of the situation. ‌ "Just know that she is surrounded by care and love." Following her death, the admin of her account said: "She told me about the challenges she faced with her physical and mental health, and how difficult it was to go through this every day… She was a very strong person, but also very sensitive." ‌ Inka Productions also released their own statement after the sad news broke. They said: "Her joy and the energy she radiated left a lasting impression on all of us who shared moments with her." According to Vitoria's Twitter page, her family are preparing to set up a GoFundMe page set up to help care for her loved ones, including her six year old daughter. Both Vitoria and Lina's deaths come weeks after the industry mourned the death of another adult star. Kylie Page, 28, who had featured in a Netflix documentary and starred in over 200 adult films died following a suspected overdose, TMZ reported. The publication citied law enforcement sources.
