See photos as kids enjoy Brave Maeve Festival in Bray

The Brave Maeve Festival was a hive of activity at the weekend, transforming Bray Seafront into a magical world of music, mythology and movement. The festival is inspired by the legendary tale of Brave Maeve, a giant heroine who awakens from her ancient slumber. Photographer Leigh Anderson was on hand at the festival to capture some of the fun and excitement. Check out his photos in the gallery below.

Sonny, who passed away in 1994, would be well chuffed. There is a mural for Sonny situated at the heart of the restaurant, which first opened its doors on Church Road, on July 4, 2020 and has now become one of the town's hottest spots. A broad menu is available for diners, including a range of burgers, Mexican food, authentic Italian wood-fired pizza, ribs and wings and the restaurant was designed to allow the front to be completely opened in the summer, letting the sunshine in and giving guests the opportunity to people-watch from inside. The venue has also become the go-to location for sport, with a fab back room for viewing games. And over the next few weeks Sonny's will be following the Lions tour each day with a special breakfast available from 11am to 1pm. All matches kick off at 11am, and doors are open at 10.30am. The following games will be screened live:
